Like the others have said, the formula is terrible! The color is so unique and cool, but I had to return it.

I'm not a general fan of MAC's polishes, I prefer lower-end brands in terms of textures. But I have to hand it to MAC, this color is just gorgeous! It takes 3 coats and a good top coat but this polish will last all week. Compliments my NW25 skintone wonderfully. It's great all yr long not just in the spring or winter as it looks awesome with blacks, grays and charcoals.

So, I love the color in the bottle- it's friggin' gorgeous! BUT for a polish with the brandname "MAC", you should not have to apply SO MANY coats to get the color in the bottle to show up. It goes on streaky and the brush is too small... maybe I'm spoiled by OPI brushes.

I found the perfect mint color. It's exactly what I wanted Peppermint Patti to be and cheaper too! The brand is "Brucci" and the name of the color is "Sheri's Pistachio Creme." I found this wonderful polish at a Rite Aid for less than $3. It goes on true to color on the first swipe across your nail. The brush deposits the perfect amount of polish and you are totally done with a perfectly creamy, minty-colored nail on the 2nd coat. Goes to show you don't always get what you pay for. :) I hope this helps everyone who couldn't experience Peppermint Patti first hand. :D

I have a very week spot for minty-polishes, so I had to hunt this down.

The color is A-mazing, and there was no chipping in a week! And I got so many compliments.

BUT, and there has to be a but, the application sucked! It was very streaky and needed 3-4 layers to be opaque.

Would I buy this product again? Abso-f......g-lutely, I love it, even though it is a PITA to apply ;)

I love it!!! The 1st coat goes on streaky, but after 2 or 3 coats it is beautiful. 2 coats will do but 3 is what it takes to make it completely opaque and streak free. It is a bit of a pain to get past the streaks, but it is worth it. The color is a beautiful mint green & everyone loves it. At the salon, the gal working on me kept commenting on what pretty color it was, and the people on either side of me getting manicures also complimented the color. It is fun, bright and pretty. OPI's "Hey Get in Lime" is similar but not the same. It is also a very pretty color, but a little lighter and maybe a little bluer. Peppermint Patti, for some, might be a little bright for fingers but perfect for toes. Hey Get in Lime is a little more subtle. Might be good to use "Hey Get in Lime" on fingers and Peppermint Patti on toes. Peppermint Patti is a fabulous color and I understand why it is in such high demand, and selling for a lot of dinero on ebay. Totally worth it. It is beautiful and fun!

I'm all over the place with this one. The color is awesome and it looks great when I'm tan or pale. That is the only good thing I have to say about it unfortunately. It applies terribly. I've tried thinning and still it applies very streaky and goopy. I'm also not a fan of the bottle, I find it awkward. This wore well the two days I had it on, with no chips/tip-wear, but for the price, honestly this wasn't worth it to me. I believe I could find or franken a similar color for much cheaper with a better formula. Sorry MAC, a swing and a miss.

This colour is AMAZING, but I feel I could have gotten a similar colour by a cheaper brand and it would have worked out better. I have to put at least 3-4 coats for the colour to show up as vibrant as I would like. I have gotten so many compliments while wearing it though.

I LOVE this color! I passed it up during the Sugar Sweet Collection because when I tried it on in the store, it was very streaky. Later on I changed my mind and went back for it... And it was gone! Thankfully, I was able to swap for it and I am sooo glad I did! YES, it IS streaky. But, 2-3 coats and your nails look like little mints! My husband even told me they look like candy and he had no idea that it was supposed to, lol!

As far as lasting power, it lasts a good 2-3 days on my hands without chipping, maybe more depending on the work I'm doing. On my toes it will last for much longer, for some reason they all do (probably because I don't work with my toes, lol).

So yes, I highly recommend this product and if I could, I would buy it again. =)

I had no problems with this item whatsoever. I put it on over a week ago , made a french manicure with the peppermint patty and some nail laquer designs. Just this week started to peel off. lasted longer than sally hansen. I would def buy again!

I am strangely obsessed with this shade of polish but can't decide if it's worth the stress of applying a million coats. What is the deal with the texture? Not sure what the point is making it so thin and streaky, but you need four coats to make it look remotely normal. I wore this shade today and got a lot of compliments, one was even from a stranger. It's definitely a cool, striking color but much like like black nail polish, I'd suggest only wearing it on short nails, otherwise it will look SUPER witchy.

Bought this polish when I passed by the MAC counter. It was soo beautiful! Unfortunately, I don't think it goes well with my skin tone but I love it still. First coat was streaky but after the 2nd one, it was perfect! A bit expensive and the packaging was nothing out of the ordinary but for this colour?! it was worth it!!

Oooh I love this color!! I bought i on a whim (I love passing the MAC counter lol) and could not be happier with this! this whole collection caught me off guard in fact. I grabbed Aquavert the minute it came out and this color had my heart when I walked by one day. It's creamy and oh so pretty and minty. Love the name. I'm really getting into the MAC polishes, so this won't be my last! If i could find it, i'd get it again and gift it to someone who loves green!

Love the color. I've been hunting for a good pastel mint polish for months that was neither too lime or too aqua and this was the first color that even came close to matching the one I saw in my head. The formula is a bit tricky to work with and I had a hard time getting it to lay down on my nail smoothly. But truth be told, nearly all cream polishes regardless of the brand give me this problem, even if applied over a ridge filler basecoat. So in light of that, I can't really take too much off for the bit of frustration I had applying this smoothly as that seems to be my lot with creams. After 3 coats, my nails looked decent. Not perfect, but smooth enough to where no one would notice but me, and I wouldn't even notice unless I was looking closely. I had zero problems with chipping. I wore this on my nails for a week, and by the end of it, my only issue was some tip wear but that's inevitable after a week. Overall I'm pretty happy with my bottle.

I was so excited about this color when it first came out, it looks so pretty in the bottle and I love unusual creme colors, not really a glitter person. But the formula is crap, really. The brush (and amt in bottle) is small, application is a streaky mess. After two coats it did look pretty, but chipped soon after and I was very dissapointed overall. I wanted a dupe for the color but couldn't find a true match...but in the search I found a waaay better similar color with superior application, my new love- BB Couture for nails!!! Love this company, it's made in the USA (you can get this from the Overall Beauty website), applies smooth and creamy, 2 coats does the job so beautifully that you can turn your back on MAC n/p forever! The color is Laguna Lagoon, a minty creme green loveliness. It's a warmer tone (a tad more lime in the mix) than Peppermint Patti, but still a fresh spring green. SOOO Pretty!

Cute colour that I know I'll tire of after a few wears, but I just couldn't help myself. First coat is quite streaky, but I found it perfectly okay after careful application of a second coat. The polish has a really lovely shine. I can't comment on wear because I have just applied it. When I think about it, the price is absurd for the amount of product and quality of the brush (esp when compared to the HG that is OPI). Didn't really deter me though...!

I had to get this off ebay after it was sold out at my store. I feel so ashamed spending so much on a nail polish, but I thought I might as well spend my pay check on something juicy this month...:)

Anyway, peppermint patti looked gorgeous in the bottle, I just had to get it. It's a creme so no shimmer or glitter, and the colour is like a creamy green/blue on my NC37-40 skintone...kind of unique, but I'm sure there are products which look nearly identical to this at a fraction of the price. I don't find the colour too garish despite it being bright. However, I wouldn't use this for work or anything like that. It comes in a 10ml bottle - the amount you pay is ridiculous. Yeah it's MAC, and yeah it's LE, but no way in hell is it worth the price. The brush is kinda small seeing as I'm used to the OPI wide brushes, but I can handle it fine.

1 coat was REALLY streaky. It looked terrible. It took quite a while to dry too, even thought I only used a thin coat. 2 coats was ok, but still a few streaks on some nails. I'm not putting a 3rd coat on, because the amount I paid for this...I need to make it last!

Would I repurchase? Even if there were more in stock, no I wouldn't. The colour isn't anything too special, and the formula is sucky, not to mention the price is too high. I wanted to love it but unfortunatly it's not that precious to me :(
