This blush is just okay. I was searching for a light pink/baby pink blush, and this one was on sale at the drugstore, so I picked this one up in Purely Plum.

I do not recommend using the brush that comes with the blush. The brush is too small. The bristles were also too stiff for this blush, so it made the blush messy and crumble in the pan. You definitely need a proper blush brush, preferably one that is fluffier and larger.

The two lighter colors work okay as a highlighter, but I don't think it is well-pigmented -- I feel like I have to use a lot to gain color on my skin. I really only like the third darkest shade.

I do not like the smell of this blush, though. This is my only CoverGirl product, so perhaps other CG products smell similar, but it is like a bitter talc scent. I have sneezed a couple of times, and I rarely get bothered with makeup scents. The scent slightly diminishes with each use though.

I have this in #230 Refined Rose, and it works well with my very cool complexion. I don't use the dark shade very much, but the other two are great. The middle makes a great blush color for me, and the light color is a good highlight, with just a tiny bit of shimmer. I'm not a big fan of too much shimmer, and this has just the right amount for me.

I have the colour purely plum

Pros:
-does contour nicely
-natural shades
-stays on
-only a little shimmer

Cons:
-sometimes the contour powder is a little too purply
-highlight doesnt really work
-not a very good brush

Its just a really natural, pretty blush! Looks really nice if you put the medium colour on your cheekbones in a upward sweep!

Do not like this blush because it has too much shimmer. It does not look good on my cheeks because I have large pores.

Have it in Sophisticated Sable for so many years and it works magic! Easy to blend and soft looking. Just order a new one and now awaiting for its arrival.

I love this trio in Purely Plum. I mainly use the highlight shade, which is starting to show pan. I also tend to gravitate toward the middle shade b/c it is quite the perfect warm pink. The deepest shade is too dark for my skintone and is used most often in the dead of winter. I usually don't expect much from Cover Girl, but this trio is absolutely a winner!

Absolutely one of the best blushes I have ever used. I use the sophisticated sable and it is amazing!! I don't have a cheekbone issue, so I just use this as a regular blush....the color is perfect for my light-medium skin tone, and I love using the colors as a beautiful eyeshadow. Great staying power, excellent color arrangement, easy to use.

I have this blush trio in two colors - pearly plum and refined rose. Plum is too dark, rose gives a beautiful glow. I have fair skin and rosacea so a pinky blush doesn't work for me so well.

The darkest shade is pretty well pigmented and matte. The middle shade isn't bad and has a hint of shimmer. The top shade doesn't show up well, but attempts to have shimmer.

Before I became a makeup junkie, I lived in a muslim nation overseas for 10 months and this blush was one of the few products in my limited beauty arsenal. I wore it daily and have only recently started to hit a little pan on the middle shade. It's like a never-ending gobstopper... no matter how much you use it, it never quits. I also accidentally dropped it onto a tile floor numerous times and the blushes never broke.

I wouldn't repurchase this blush, because I have found other DS blushes that I like better. But I will admit that it did its job and certainly has managed to endure under some pretty difficult conditions and temperature swings.

Not happy with this at all. Color doesn't last; there's not enough contrast between the colors; and the brush is lousy. I was aiming for an easy-to-use product that will help with contouring, etc., but this aint it.

I have Refined Rose. Very soft and pigmented, beautiful colors. Shimmery, but in a pretty, not over-the-top way. I don't recommend this for actually contouring however, because I think so much pink on the cheeks is overwhelming and just makes you look like you overdid your blush. For this particular color, I think the lightest color makes a pretty highlight and the two darkest colors are both pretty blushes, so it's 3 gorgeous pinks in 1 and is great for travelling so you can adjust your blush accordingly with just one little product. It just isn't very long-lasting. I would say it stays noticeable for a few hours, but that's all.

This blush trio is fantastic! I loved the peach colored trio.
This is one of the only blushes that actually looked good on me and made me satisfied. It is quite pigmented and soft shimmer makes it better. I use the shade in the middle as a blush and I use the lightest shade on the tip of my cheekbones and under the brows. I ignor the darkest shade because I already have quite apparent cheekbones :) I guess I bought this Instant Cheekbones trio because I loved the color of the blush

Pros:
- Nicely pigmented
- Soft shimmer
- Lasts all day without reapplication
- glides on smoothly and looks natural
- I have used all three shades the first time I bought this in order to create more defined cheekbones and this works wonders

Cons:
- It is a bit pricey

I got this in redefined rose. Thinking it would give me a great 'contoured' face, I'm can't pull this off. After trying several times to make a good look, i gave up. The colors do not compliment my cool toned, very fair skin. I look overdone, clownish. It's too much color and too sparkly for me. Think I have to keep it very simple and basic with blush and use just one color instead of 3. This is just not for me. I'll leave the contouring to professionals...
Packaging is crap, worst brush i've ever tried. Quality of product is ok.

I have this in purely plum

I have blonde hair and quite pale skin. I use the same brush and just spread it more and mix the two lighter colours. I only use the dark colour if i'm going out and have bronzer on.

Plus it has lasted FOREVER! Ive had it for about 3 years!

Definitely is instant cheekbones on a box. I was stunned because I got that sculpted look with this product that I always see on the models, and it was really easy to achieve.

Pro's:

This product is cheap for what you get.

Ridiculously easy to use. Foolproof.

Lasts all day.

Cons:

Packaging and brush is AWFUL. The brush that is included gives you 80's streaks. When I switched to my fluffy makeup brush, I was fine.

Not a very large selection of colors.

The highlighter that is included is worthless; very fake and sparkly-looking. The contour and the apple are great; just ignore the highlighter.

I have this in 220 Prly (pearly?) Plum. The darkest "contouring" shade is a pearly dark rose. The middle "base" shade is a lighter shimmery rose, and the lightest "highlight" shade is a barely-there pearly light pink. All do indeed show up "pearly" on the skin-- not exactly shimmery, but with an iridescent glow. All three are flattering shades on me (fair-medium, cool skin tone).

Also, CG had a nice idea with the whole "cheekbone defining" thing, and the packaging is small and cute, but it's so useless. Each of the three shades is separated with a plastic space, which is pointless. It's weird to try to get blush product on a large fluffy brush when the product is in a space the size of an eyeshadow. And they're so close together that If I want just one shade, I get all of them. Also, obv the mini brush (yeah right).

I just use the middle "base" shade and ignore the rest. Next time I'll just buy a single color blush. :-P

I have this blush in Redefined Rose. I love the middle color because it gives me a very natural, pink flustered look. It looks so nice on my medium skin tone, I've even received compliments! I haven't experimented much with the darker pink for contouring and the lightest pink I do like for a highlighter. However, if I use it too much, I look wacky especially once the oils from my skin breaks through :( Other than that, I love this trio and would def buy it again!

I always go back to this blush. I have it in Refined Rose. Even with MAC blushes, I end up coming back to the middle colour. It is the epitome of a healthy glow. I love that healthy, pink, natural, I-just-ran-over-here look. NC20.
I don't hate the brush, I actually sort of like it. As long as you don't load too much product on it, you can build the colour without making it look too streaky. It doesn't fade on me.
