This is a light greyed purple. It has a matte finish and I use it as a transition color when wearing purple in the crease.

I don't have much in the way of MAC purple shadows (or any purple shadows, for that matter) which is funny because in my teens and 20's, dark plum/purple was my favourite eye shadow colour.

I got Memorabilia a few months ago from the Good-byes section of the Canadian MAC website. I liked several other items from the Pret a Papier launch and so decided to add this shadow, so I'd also have (finally) a MAC purple shadow. I have to admit that, at first, I was really disappointed in this. It seemed to make me look more like I had bruises around my eyes rather than looking like a nice purple shadow. Then, a week or 2 back, I tried it again - this time, I put Vex on my lid - applying it somewhat heavily on the inner 2/3 of the lid - and then I put the Memorabilia in my crease and smudged in the outer 1/3 of my lid. Voila....a really pretty result! I used Vex again, but very lightly, to blend out and up toward the brow and to highlight and it all works very nicely. And the matte finish of Memorabilia balances nicely with the more frosty finish of Vex.

I found this on Ebay at a very reasonable price. With my love/obsession for MAC and purple eye shadows I thought I would make the investment. Definitely not disappointed as this shadow is awesome! I can see myself using this shadow quite a bit, especially this upcoming fall & winter seasons. Memorabilia is a lovely muted shade of burgundy plum with a matte finish. Blendable, pigmented, and has a smooth creamy texture. Versatile shadow that looks great either on the lid or crease, and pairs well with browns, purples, and blacks. Very happy with my spontaneous purchase and I would recommend it to other purple lovers.

Memorabilia is a stunning purple. Its one of those purples that will always give a timeless look. Its a matte formula which is a plus. Creates a very sophisticated look. This is the purple that I have always been looking for. Another great e/s from Mac.

Memorabilia is a med-dark slightly reddened-purple (plummy) shade on my NW10 skin. Came out w/Originals collection, along w/ PoisonPen (true purple/matte2).

As with the other matte2's, has the incredible creamy, pigmented, blend able, long lasting formula.

Mine is mislabeled as Frost also.

Its a plain matte dirty purple. The label is wrong it is not a frost. Its good if you want to spice up a smokey look, or if u just want a little color. I wouldent repurchase, even if it was a limited ed. Its just not exciting.

Yes, this pot is mislabeled. There's no way that it's a frost.I liked this enough to get extras before it disappears. It's the closest MAC eyeshadow that I've seen to MAC's discontinued Dovefeather, which I love and am running out of. MAC, if you're listening, please bring Dovefeather back! Memorabilia is a deeper, less grey version of Dovefeather.

This a a gorgeous smoky purple matte color.It goes on great as a crease color,or outer corner/outer V.Good for the smoky eye days,or just to add a bit of color to make your eyes pop.

This is part of MAC's Originals collection. Its a beautiful medium dusty purple color. On my pot, it says that it's a Frost finish, but on the website it's labeled as Matte. It's most definitely matte, the pots must be mislabeled. It's extremely smooth and blends beautifully, better than other matte shadows that I have. It looks exactly the same shade on as it does in the pot. If it weren't LE, I'd definitely repurchase.
