This is one of the very few mascaras that I can wear without a primer. It makes my lashes look long and thick without the hassle of a primer. With all other mascaras I usually wear primers underneath as I love quite a dramatic effect, but with the Clarins lengthening mascara I just sweep on and go. I purchased it in a black/plum colour which pretty much looks like a warm black (on my black lashes) & is good for the daytime for a more natural look.

I'm sorry to read in the previous review that this mascara has been discontinued. I'm always on the prowl for a better mascara but I really liked this. The long thin applicator made finding my tiny inner lashes a breeze, lengthing was good, volume was good. It is just an easy mascara to grab and use, I had no problems with flaking.

The best lengthening mascara that i have ever used. I read a user say it was flaking. I can only assume that she was in a very hot or humid climate as i have no problems with it at all.

Well, this has been discontinued now (about 2 months ago) but some cheap websites that carry discontinued stock might try and flog u it. This is perfect in every way EXCEPT the flakes by the end of the day. I have just had a good peek and I have tiny particles of black all under my eyes. I got passed this mascara by my clarins consultant mate who uses the curling mascara. Maybe skip this, even if it is in the bargain bin.

I'm actually not sure if this Clarins mascara is the lengthening or thickening one...the SA gave me a small tube one day and it's not written anywhere which one it is. Anyways, I really like this Clarins mascara. It comes in a white tube with gold on the top. It is very natural but gets all eyelashes without clumping. I don't buy department store mascaras since I replace mascara every 2 months or so and therefore I feel it would be a waste. I buy cheaper mascaras for that reason. But I got this one free and am really enjoying it. I also have Maybelline's Full'N Soft mascara in my makeup drawer and I have to say I reach for my Clarins mascara much more often than the Maybelline.

Got this in a holiday kit so I had to try it. This is a really nice mascara. It lengthened my lashes nicely and didn't smudge all day. The packaging is beautiful, a really long tube, making you feel beautiful just applying it.
