Edit: I realized after a couple of weeks (I didn't use this every day) that it was causing my rosace to flare up. I should have known when I smelled the strong rose scent that it was going to be trouble. Now I'm on the hunt for plain hyaluronic acid without additives.

After slathering on oil after oil and gloppy cream after gloppy cream, I finally found what my skin needed -- hyaluronic acid.

I found this at Whole Foods and paid a ton for it! $42! I've since discovered other places where I can get it online for about half of that so when I run out of this bottle, I'll buy online instead.

Ok, so here's the deal. My skin is mature, dry, sensitive and has rosacea. Lately my skin has been feeling extra try so I've been trying everything to try to get it more hydration with no luck.

Someone on the boards suggested Hyaluronic Acid and wow! I'm glad they did. After two days of using this my skin is soft and doesn't have that itchy tightness. This is the only product I changed in my routine so I know this is what's making a difference.

My packaging is different from the one shown in the profile. It's a glass pump. It takes two pumps a day to get hydrated but not oily skin. It's amazing.

After realizing my oiliness was a result of my skin being dehydrated, I researched HA serums and landed on this one. I'm interested in products that have natural ingredients as opposed to chemical/synthetic and the ingredients list on this one looked good so I picked it up at my local grocery store.

I have only been using this for about 4-5 days now but my skin has really taken to it and looks 10x better than before. I use one pump at night underneath my moisturizer. I wake up with the most supple, smooth and hydrated face ever! And oh yeah, this smells divine!

My makeup has looked almost flawless due to my much improved skin condition and I no longer generate 'gallons' of oil each day. While I still need to blot about 2-3x/day, I feel like I have a natural glow instead of looking like a greaseball.

This product is relatively pricey for a drugstore item (I paid $30.00) but in my opinion, quality ingredients are worth more $.

My skin loves this stuff! Now that the weather is changing, my dry skin is even drier and using this product before my moisturizer has kept the flakies at bay. It leaves my skin dewey and hydrated...and best of all no breakouts! I personally love the smell as well. To me the rose smells fresh. The packaging is great with a locking pump bottle, I never accidentally get too much product...which is good b/c holy toledo is it expensive for something that's just going to make my moisturizer work better. Regardless of the price, it's still an awesome hyaluronic serum...love the temporary plumping it adds to my skin!! I will definately be repurchasing!

Man, I wish this stuff worked for me. I had high hopes. It felt good at first and my skin looked glowy, so I thought, good sign! But over the next few hours I started to feel like my skin was losing moisture. I wanted to run home and wash my face. At the end of the day I had a few blemishes. Not 100% sure this was the culprit, but it was the only thing I did differently. After checking the ingredients I noticed it has a little alcohol and witch hazel in it, which may be why I felt dry. Bizarre for a hydrating serum to make me feel parched. Oh well, back to the drawing board...

I have dry skin that is very finicky. This serum is very moisturizing and I was surprised that some dry spots I had on my cheeks had literally disappeared overnight. I only used it two nights though because of the strong scent. It has rose hip seed extract in it and I found it to be very overwhelming. Because I only used it for two nights I can't comment on whether or not it would cause me to breakout, but I don't think so.

I've given it 3 stars because I really think it is a great serum for dry skin, but had to knock off two stars for the overwhelming scent. I actually had trouble sleeping. If you don't mind the smell of roses this might be a really good serum for you if you have dry skin.

what a wonderful serum! this is such a treat for dry dehydrated skin. it instantly cools and is so refreshing. it really feels like a drink of water for skin. it makes my skin soft and plumped and hydrated all day! it also works very well as a cooling, soothing, hydrating under eye cream/serum! The smell (which is natural) is lovely - like rose water. it's packaged very nicely in slim pump bottle (which keeps any air from entering and oxidizing any of the product.) this one is a keeper for winter months!

HG for life! This product has saved my skin from the parched desert wasteland condition it was in a couple of months back and still continues to be my HG 'behind the scene' moisturizer up to this day! Since it's a serum I don't use it to replace actual moiturizer, but it definitely preps my skin (which is dried out after applying various topical treatments) for adequate moisturizing. One pump for each cheek, and another pump for my t-zone and my skin is feeling fresh and plump already. I love hyaluronic acid for all its wonderful hydrating properties (an 'acid' that doesn't strip the skin, imagine that!) The price is crazy if you buy retail so I usually just search for good deals on other sites (: I will never stop buying this!

This is my first hyaluronic serum and I made it a part of my winter skincare to keep my skin in tip-top-shape and it has done so to the fullest. This isn’t runny but more like a gel and it easily soaks right into skin. The scent is so refreshing! It’s a clean rose scent which I am very fond of. Using this for about month and my skin is baby soft! It probably won’t be a part of my skincare throughout the year but will plan on repurchase for winter. Usually my skin gets a little dry when its cold outside but with this serum I haven’t had to deal with any dry patches.

This has been really good to my skin. It hydrates without being greasy and doesn't break me out nor aggravate my noninflamed closed comedones. It is a nice watery gel that smells soo delightfully rosy to me. I just put on one pump in the morning under my sunscreen and at night. It makes for a great primer, as well. I've used this for more than a month after I decided to give it a shot instead of swapping it and am so glad that I made that choice. My face is looking quite close to normal and instead of flaking in certain parts, my whole face is well hydrated without dripping in grease. It seems to be most effective when I use my Mario Badescu Glycolic Toner with it. And since the combination of the two seem to be doing so well, I really have nothing to complain about except the price! I had tried the Dermalogica hydrating booster, which is also another expensive hyaluronic acid serum, but I find this one much more accessible in terms of price (thanks to eBay) and better for my skin.

Wonderful product. I have super sensitive rosacea skin and this works very well to keep me hydrated and clear. It's expensive but does last awhile because you only need a small amount. I apply two drops after cleansing while my face is still wet, let it dry, and then apply the bee yummy moisturizer from live-live.com. My skin has never looked or felt better. I don't even need makeup anymore unless I want to put some one.

Other My'Chelle products I use are the Unscented Honeydew Cleanser and the Sun Shield SPF (daily), Incredible Pumpkin Peel (once per week) and I alternate the Blueberry Antioxidant Mask and the Cranberry Mud Mask (once per week). As an exfoliator, I use a product called Magic Dust Face Polish from Spirit Earth Organic Skin Care. I've found this regimen to keep my rosacea, and the acne it causes, under control.

This is the best hyaluronic serum out there... I 've tried several, but none have been as moisturizing as this one. I use this serum every morning after washing my face, and it just sinks into my skin, leaving it plump and perfectly moisturized, even in the harsh NYC winter. Best of all, it has no chemicals. I have acne-prone skin & this has not caused breakouts or any irritations. A definite repurchase! I've also used MyChelle's Serious Hyaluronic Firming Serum, which is great, but not nearly as moisturizing, so better for summer.

This is my new HG serum. I prefer it to Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and Estee Lauders Night Repair. It doesn't cause me to break out and it smooths my porous skin while softening fine lines. I heart this stuff so much. I love the entire MyChelle line, particularly the Pumpkin Peel and the Fruit Enzyme Mist. I had been suffering from dry, bland looking skin this winter, which has been colder than normal. After using this stuff for a week, I've been told twice that I'm glowing and once that I look like I just got out of high school - I'm 37. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I used to love this serum but they took out the expensive (effective) ingredients. Now it's mostly water and glycerin. Look at the label. I asked them why the change in formulation and no response. What a pity; they would have had a customer for life with the old formulation.

I wanted to love this and was so excited to try it based on the reviews here. Unfortunately, it broke me out both times I tried it, so I've given up and am putting it up for swap. I love MyChelle products and have had good luck with most. There must be something in this that I just can't tolerate.

I honestly love this product. I have been using so much different moisturizers& serums for my flaky skin from Retin-A as Skinceuticals B5 Gel ( which i also like BUT i still needed moisturizer on top), and so on , but nothing really help that much as this serum. I only use AM under s/s and I had none dry patches or flaky skin anymore. The other more important thing for me is that I broke out from 99% of the products and this absolutely did not clog me or broke me AND i don't need moisturizer on top.
Make my skin so soft, nice and free of those awful dry patches.Great under make up too... ADORE this serum.

Age: 25-29   Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Neutral   Hair: Black, Straight, Medium   Eyes: Brown

BACKGROUND: I have very finicky, annoying combination skin that is acne-prone. I can be very oily and flaky and Sahara-dry at the same time. My skin is light and I tend to scar easily. I'm currently using Tazorac and other actives (AHA, BHA, benzoyl peroxide, Vitamin C) in order to keep my skin in good condition.

DESCRIPTION: Watery, clear serum with a faint fresh-fruity (?) fragrance. Housed in a good-quality, opaque pump bottle with its own cap. It's easiest to pump out a drop or so at a time and quickly massage it into one section of your face at a time since the serum is very runny. Absorbs quickly; skin feels very slightly sticky at first, but that goes away quickly and your face is left feeling quite soft. No residue or unpleasant tightness at all. It's also gentle enough to use around the eyes (I wear contacts, have allergies and sensitive eyes that water at the slightest specks of dust, so if I can put this around my eyes with no problem, then most others should as well).

PERFORMANCE: I've been wearing this under my Desert Essence moisturizer because sometimes, when my skin is really feeling dry, even really rich, emollient creams don't moisturize it adequately and just sit on top, making me look oily. It's like the dry skin refuses to absorb thick creams and lotions. The Mychelle serum is light but penetrates even the scaliest, most reptilian skin beautifully. I smoothe on a bit of cream afterwards to lock in the moisture. I also mix a bit of this with my Tazorac cream and that has prevented my skin from getting overly-irritated and dry from the medication. My face is flake-free these days and feels a lot softer. It also looks brighter and healthier. No breakouts from this and I am VERY breakout-prone. Happy!

VERDICT: This is a tad expensive, but sometimes you can find this for cheaper on eBay or from online health stores. But you shouldn't let the price dissuade you--the ingredients are really high-quality and the packaging is thoughtful and convenient. Plus, no glycerin, which is unusual in a hydrating serum. I would definitely repurchase.

My one and only skin care HG. Perfect moisturizer for my retinoid-sensitized, somewhat clogged skin. If I have an irritated or scaly patch, glycerin and water is best; but for regular use, I have never tried anything better. The feel and the slight rose scent are lovely. Thanks, MUA!

EDIT: I do not care for the new formula as much. Way more ingredients, including skin irritants limonene and limanool. :( Very disappointing.

I really like this product--it literally disappears into your skin, leaving behind satiny-smooth-velvet baby soft skin. It's not as good when you're in a warmer climate though because sometimes it leaves a slightly sticky residue on my skin...Not bad though.

I bought this on a whim and regretted it as soon as I left Whole Foods. I decided to give it a try anyway and I am so glad I did. This stuff is amazing. It really hydrates my skin and leaves it so smooth and soft. I have not had any problems with breakouts either. Plus my skin has a nice glow to it. This may reach HG status!
