I absolutely love this cleanser! I use it nightly with my Clarisonic brush and it leaves my skin feeling very supple and perfectly balanced. I usually need to change cleansers from spring/summer and fall/winter but not with this one - it has remained surprisingly great all through the humid summer and without any breakouts. It feels like it just cleanses and that's that - I don't use this to combat dryness or oiliness, although on days where I feel drier I will leave the cleanser on my skin for a minute before using my Clarisonic and that does seem to help.
Travel sized packets with 3 or 4 different Nia 24 products can be found online and that's where I first tried this cleanser. It's a great way to sample their different products and see what you like.
For reference: I have rosacea with combination skin (dry cheeks, oily t-zone with many blackheads); also use Nia24's Skin Strengthening Complex at night. I use Yes to Cucumber's facial wipes to remove makeup and don't personally know how well this cleanser would work.

I found this cleanser rather irritating, and it didnt remove make up very well at all (even though I only wear a light powder in the day). When I was using this with the Nia SSC I found my skin was really flakey, but now using the Nia SSC alone with another cleanser I have not experienced that problem. Either the cleanser was somehow drying my skin out, or it left a film that balled up when I added my moisturiser. Shame as I really wanted to like this product!

Simply didn't clean or remove anything, and in fact left residue that would not come off with water. Pretty worthless cleanser in my experience, however good some of the other NIA 24 products may be.

LOVE IT and great for VERY dry skin. But I have difficulty to remove make up with it. It is like cream, not liquid soap. I like all nia24 products and highly recommend them

Since starting to use tretinoin, my HG (for years) Paula's Choice One Step for dry skin cleanser is too drying. I need to switch to something even gentler. So I used up an entire sample tube of this and really liked it. Very creamy, made my skin feel soft and smooth, no clogs, no irritation. Did fine taking makeup off. The only thing that's holding me off from buying another tube at this time is the price. I don't think the niacin is particularly helpful in a cleanser, but if I can't find anything less expensive that works this well, I'll re-buy.

I use many of the Nia24 products, but this one didn't cut it for me. I bought it a few months ago and got it thru SkinStores 20% off sale. The 5oz. tube was reasonably affordable at $24.00. It is a cold cream cleanser with a less than thick consistency. The tube makes it easy to dispense. I found it slightly irritating ( mild burn ) and not exactly sure what ingredient(s) caused that. Looking at the box Cetyl Alcohol is listed as the 7th ingredient and could had caused the irritation. This also contains Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. I'm not sure that is neccesary in a face cleansing product. Anyway, my skin had a slight greasy film after rinsing it off and when using the tissue method. The instruction indicates to rinse well or tissue off. You might reap the 1% Niacin benefit in this product if tissued off. I bought this because my skin is dry and mature and cold cream cleanser types are usually recommended. I wished Avon would reinvent their cold cream cleanser from years ago. It also came in a tube, smelled wonderful and rinsed off clean with no residue. I've never found another product remotely close to that one. Still, I wouldn't trade some of the other NIA24 products!

This is a really gentle creamy cleanser- but definitely cannot take the place of a makeup remover. That said, it is extremely nourishing, feels very pampering to the skin. It's almost like a cold cream but not as thick, but for that reason it does not leave you squeaky clean. It is after all a cleansing cream. Probably most suited for dry mature skins.

Of all the Nia 24 products that came in the trial size kit, this was my least favorite. I used it once and put it away.
I kept using the scrub, sunscreen and the lotion. Then when we went on vacation, I threw the small tube in the bag. I used it the whole time we were on vacation. It won me over.
I put it on a dry face, rub, wet my fingers and rub for about a minute. Then I take it off with a wet washcloth. It leaves my face, clean, moist and I think the lotion works better. A major plus is several clogged pores that nothing got rid of have gone, as if by magic.
I used to have a bigger t-zone than I do now. really my nose is the oily part that I fight now. I use the stridex pad on my nose when I am done, and I don't use the skin strengthning lotion on my nose.
And the tube is a huge 5oz. You use a nickle size. This will last me awhile.

I am head over heels in love with the Nia24 line. Trust me ladies, I have spent TONS of money on skin care products, trying to find the right ones. I think I've found my HG line. I purchased the Nia24 sample kit, which comes with the Gentle Cleansing Cream, the Physical Cleansing Scrub, the Skin Strengthening Complex, and the Sun Damage Prevention SPF 30.
The Gentle Cleansing Cream was my least favorite product out of the four. It's not a bad product, but I just don't care for cream cleansers in general. I suppose the extra dose of Niacin is probably good, but I'll just stick with my regular cleanser.

This cleanser has a lovely rich texture, creamy, to me it seems fragrance free. The great thing about it is that it leaves my skin feeling very comfortable. Not dry, not in ined of a toner. And my pores are pratically invisible from using it.
It has REALLY improved my skin. Love it, and will repurchse.

Nia 24 Skin Strengthening Complex is my HG moisturizer, but this cleanser is worthless. I have dry skin that hasn't broken out in years but, within three days of using this, I had one full-blown pimple and several others on the way. This cleanser does not remove makeup, dirt and oil the way a cleanser should.
Luckily, you can get all the niacin benefit you need with just the moisturizer. It doesn't make much sense to put niacin in a cleanser, anyway, since you rinse it off your skin within a few seconds of applying it. My recommendation is to use the moisturizer and skip this overpriced, underperforming extension to the Nia 24 product line.
