There are definitely better cleansers out there for the same price as this one. I've used Hydrafresh gel for years, but I was at Big Lots and decided to try this one, just to keep at my boyfriend's house when I stay over. I really don't like this at all. First, it says it is foaming, but it never foams up for me. Secondly, it smells like some kind of bathroom cleaner. Third, it stings my eyes!! I never use a separate eye makeup remover, but with this one I almost have to. Pass on this and get either the Hydrafresh foaming gel or Clinique foaming cleanser in the pink tube!

I have used this product for about a month now and I do really like it. I didn't find the product to leave my skin dry. The smell is tolerable and I do like the rich creamy feel. I would buy this product again.

Not too expensive, pleasant smell, and I like the creamy texture. Also, this is wonderful on my oily/sensitive/blemish-prone skin. It took about a month of using it but suddenly I realized my skin was clearer than it'd been in a long time. In the long run, this product is great =)

It doesn't control shine at all and doesn't clean well neither.

I did not like this. I have very oily, but somewhat combo, skin. I tried this for weeks, and it has done NOTHING for my skin. It barely "foams." Plus, my skin still feels dirty after washing with it. I would get BETTER results with water. It leaves a strange film on my face. I just don't like this product. Will NOT repurchase.

I used to live in a not very dry climate and this face wash kept the zits away. But I just recently moved to a very dry climate and I had to stop using it. It sucked all the moisture out of my face, stripping it dry and causing extreme breakouts. Recommended if you have oily skin and live in a wet climate. Not recommended for anyone living in a dry climate.

Great at taking makeup off. It even gets out my eye makeup. It lasts forever. I've had mine for almost a year now. I use it once a day because it can be overdrying. It's an OK cleanser.

I'm usually wary of creamy cleansers on my oily skin, but this does the trick of stripping oiliness off my face. I usually have to wash twice to break the oil down, but once is fine with this cleanser. Washes clean away. Nothing spectacular, but it left me feeling cleansed but not tight. ***3/27 UPDATE*** After using it for a couple more weeks, I HAVE noticed that my face is much more matte after rinsing. I alternate it with another cleanser so I don't get overly dull, but yes, it does what it says - controls shine.

I used this a couple of years ago, but this was too drying for my then combo skin. I didn't like the smell or taste.

This is an ok cleanser. I don't really have an issue with shine but I decided to try it on a whim. It's a thick, creamy formula that lathers just a little bit. It removed my makeup and left my skin feeling clean but a little on the stripped side. It's not bad but I think it's just a little bit much for normal skin. It would probably be great for someone with oily skin. It had a pleasant clean scent that I didn't mind too much and a little goes a long way.

Not sure if it does much to control shine but it is great at removing makeup. It has a nice scent which is not too overpowering.

This is a good cleanser for combo/oily skin. The price is right, it lathers fairly well, and the fragrance is so fresh and clean. It's packaged in a tube so no waste. The only problem is there is a slight film left on my skin after using, and although my skin feels clean, there is some residue of makeup left over.
