I adore this shade! My eyes are blue, but look kind of green sometimes, and it's a perfect shade for whatever mood my eyes are in - seems to intensify their color. Blends easily, great slightly-more-than-neutral shade.

I have been waiting for Laura Mercier to re-release this colour ever since it was in a LE palette released about five years ago!
I have dark brown eyes and it is such a flattering colour worn all over the eyelid and into the crease. It gives a polished and natural look with just a thin line of Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner.
It's the one I always take travelling to minimise baggage weight.

I have green eyes, and the brown with red undertones in Nutmeg goes really well with my eyes (see pics in profile for an example.) I use Buttercream and Nutmeg, and MAC Twinks in the crease. This is a much softer look than what I was used to, but as I get older, I think it looks better than the harsh grays and blacks. I use Nutmeg with the LM ponytail brush, and it layers just right. The packaging is lame, and I actually had to return and exchange, because the box was not closing well. This one pops open every now and then as well, and so does the buttercream.

Nutmet is a matte powder eye shadow that was part of LM's Indian Summer 2007 collection, and I should've read the online description of this shade before buying it: "rich red-brown." But when you look at it in the compact, it appears to be a slightly darker version of Caramel (a creamy matte peach). As the day wears on, however, Nutmeg's "rich red" pigment definitely becomes darker and more apparent (as well as harsh-looking on me), and it looks as though I'm wearing LM's Temptation instead. This would probably be an okay color for brown eyes, but it's not very unique, and its online color swatch and appearance in the compact are both terribly deceiving.
