I boght this one a few weeks ago, thougt i travel a lot, so it would be usefull on my moves, the compact is small and handy so you can drop it in your purch, your backpack whereever you want.. so thats pretty cool, for the lippies.. they are very nice colors, but the e/s it was a bit disapointing.. i onwe sevral more palettes from bobbi brown, and wat i notice is that the same colors apering in a lot of the palettes. so in one way iam disapointed in this one.. or perhaps the change of the e/s in the palette..
i would not buy it again, if i ever run out on this one..

I have a real thing about palettes, and since I will soon be travelling in Europe, I decided this would be an excuse to add another travel-sized palette to my collection!
Of the four lip glosses, the two medium-toned glosses are really lovely on me (Asian, NC35). The MA told me the light pink gloss is supposed to be a highlighter, and for that purpose it works quite well (as an all over gloss it's way too light and frosty). The dark colour is a bit dark for my taste, but if you like dark lips it's a lovely colour.
The eyeshadows are a little more disappointing - Cacao shimmer wash is very sheer, although a very nice colour. Chocolate is a bit too light for me to use as a liner (I prefer Espresso for this). SoI usually end up doing a smokey eye with Chocolate blended in the crease, and use Espresso or a black gel liner to line the eyes.
Overall it's a nice palette (though the two-layer thing could be improved) and will be good to travel with, I just wish the glosses were a bit deeper and the eyeshadows more pigmented.

I bought this product unseen from the Bobbi Brown website. I thought I would need a handy palette to take with me for travelling. Unfortunately, it's not quite what I expected. The shadows are nice, but not as nice as my own combination of the perfect eye shadows for my complexion, and from all three glosses I like only one. For that price, I can't keep it because I already know I wont use it.

I thought my search for the perfect pallete had ended, but alas I continue my search.
Shadows: I really like the shadows better than the glosses. But I wish the color was a bit warmer instead of so dull. I followed the MUA's suggestion and used them as a wet shadow which seems to work better, and Cacao is my favorite. I don't use the Chocolate shadow as a liner, but instead use MAC's dipdown cream eyeliner which rounds out the chocolate look very nicely.
Glosses: As one reviewer stated, pink mocha is the best. The pink shimmer is hideous on my naturally brown lips (NW45) and the other shimmer glosses are just '..eh..' And they seem to go really fast. A couple of dips in the pink mocha and I could already see the pan.
If I could give it a 3.5, I would. While this is useful for everyday, it certainly does not have a 'wow' factor and $60 probably could have been spent better.

I'm an NC45 and have an odd penchant for browns, and given the popularity for the full BB Chocolate eye palette, thought I'd give this a try.
the shadows are wonderful! Smooth and rather pigmented (though not as much as say, MAC), I found these to be very useful for workday use. The ubiquitious bone shadow needn't be in *every* bb palette, but here, it works as highlighter and contrast to the darker, matte Chocolate and Frappe (my favorite) shadow and also works very well with the shimmer. I have to say this doesn't show as much on my brown skin as it would on a paler person, but I expected that and wasn't too disappointed.
The glosses...*sigh* Pink Shimmer just looks shiny and frosty on my pigmented lips, so that wasn't a good match. But Pink Mocha! I just might have to splurge and get this on its own. It's wonderful pinkish brown nude color that isn't too sheer or too dark. Perfect. Double Fudge is a really nice neutral on my pigmented lips, when applied lightly. Golden Caramel doesn't work very well, as it turns muddy on my already pink mouth.
All in all, I wouldn't purchase again, but I'm rather glad I did. The design could have been made a little more user-friendly (a drawer design would have been nicer), but you can't beat it for packability. That said, though I bought it as a possible replacement for the NARS tropical heat wave palette, I didn't see enough here to make me want to discard the NARS palette for this one.

I missed the Chocolate palette so when this came out I jumped on it. I love this palette. You can create any look from a clean, polished day/office to a smokey night look. The shadows are beautiful both is color and texture/pigment and same for the lippies. Normally i don't like having both lips and eyes in the same palette but with this one because of how it's tiered I don't mind. The powder from the shadows doesn't get in the l/g. Plus it's hugely convenient for travel. Really love Bobbi Brown.
