Shade description: bubble gum pink

Pros

- pigmented
- pretty shade

Cons

- too creamy
- drying

Comments: Nice true bubble gum pink. The formula is very creamy, but application is fine so long as its dabbed on and not swiped to avoid streaks. One of my favorite pinks.

Will repurchase.

This lipstick didn't not fit my skin tone/color at all. It made me look awkward, and looked very, very bad. The formula itself, I was personally disappointed. After applying the lipstick to my lips, it kind of settled into the fine lines of my lips and looked very bad.

Pretty color in the tube and on my lips, but it only lasted maybe ten minutes, a problem that is apparent with all the NYX round case lipsticks that I have tried. I like my Saint Germain much better so I ended up giving this to my mom.

I just recieved this after deciding whether or not to take the chance on this company. I read rave reviews on NYX here, so I picked out a few colors to try. I really like the St. Germaine color from MAC, but I don't own anything from MAC yet and heard this color was a close dupe.

It is a very pretty blue-based pink/bubble-gummy color that is gorgeous on my fair, cool skin. Someone mentioned that it might look too young, but I am 37 and I think its extremely flattering and not too young. I wouldn't layer it a bunch and make it look too cakey, but one swipe was all I did and the color is very pigmented. It has not settled into any lines, drifted, bled, or streaked like some other reviews I read.

The formula is very smooth and feels like nothing is on my lips but lip balm. Today I had the color on through errands, 90 degree heat, a soda, and a nap and it was still noticeable. I am very impressed with this brand and this color is gorgeous.

I bought this because I was in quest of searching the perfect light blue-based pink, bright lipstick; but too cheap to afford MAC Saint Germain (at least in my country, where MAC is more expensive than in US). I love the colour actually. It suits my NW15 skin well, but definitely not for anyone who wants to look elegant, expensive, and classy as this lip colour screams teenager. It is slightly darker and a bit less blue based than saint germain; actually more wearable as it is more yellow-teeth friendly than saint germain although not exactly so.

The problem is, the texture is awful. It is too creamy to the point of oily, settle into lip lines, and just 'sit there' on my lips. Bloody hard to be applied evenly, often ends up rather patchy. Also, if you have dry lips, this will exaggerate every lip imperfection, every line, every flake.

Love the colour, detest the texture. I should have just saved for Saint Germain instead.

Great bubblegum pink! After seeing many swatches and reviews of this, I decided I'd jump and buy it and see what all the fuss was about, and I'm glad I did. I haven't had the issue of it not lasting (lasted through smoking, coffee, food, etc for several hours), or seeping into fine lines, or simply washing out. I'm not sure if I got lucky or not, but I adore this lipstick.

This is an awesome bubblegum pink "gaga" look lipstick with a nice creamy satiny finish. The only reason why I gave it such a poor review is because of the bad lasting power and weird soapy taste. I own one other nyx lippie and it doesn't taste like this. This lipstick has great potential to be one of my favorites, if only nyx would make it a bit more thick/opaque so it would last longer and not settle into fine lines and take out that weird taste.

This is my favorite bright bubble gum pink. I love that it has no purple undertone. It can be drying, but concealer as base and a little clear lipgloss helps it to stay and look fabulous. It's straight up bubble gum pink. I love this for girls nights out with smokey eyes.

Meh...

Looks super pretty from the tube.. but do NOT be deceived! It settles into every line and drys my lips into this ghastly pink hue that makes me look washed out. Doesn't have staying power as well.

Wont buy again. In fact, ended giving it to my 4 year old daughter.

For reference, I am about a NC20--25 depending on the season with strong yellow undertones.

Usually I'm quite attracted to pinks, and I purchased this one seeing how it looks like a nice Barbie Pink. Unfortunately, it was too light for my skin tone during the summer and it looked strangely cool-toned with my very yellow-toned skin. It definitely made me look sick.

Also like most other NYX Round lipsticks I've tried, it has a slightly soapy taste/smell. I also found that this particular shade tends to settle in the lip lines a bit and doesn't last very long (about two hours). I would not repurchase this, but this may look beautiful on someone who is fair and cool-toned.

Im not afraid to buy light pinks because my skin is so fair that most colors look dark against it. So I never had to worry about them being "too light." But wow, this was really light and really bright on me. That is not something that happens often! It looks neon against my skin. It can look nice with a very light application, but when I put a lot on it is extremely bright and gawdy. I feel like I belong on jersey shore. As for the quality, it is great, not drying, and the packaging is cute. If you're looking for a dramatic barbie pink color then this is for you. On the other hand, if you have a darker skin tone, this will probably look more subtle and natural..

Far too light a colour for me, I think. Made me look sick.
Though, unlike others, I thought it applied pretty well. :P

Hands down my favorite lipstick EVER!!! THE PERFECT pink!!! Total Barbie doll pink!!! I use this bad boy more than my other lippies: Mac, YSL, everything else! I actually love using this as a lipstick & blush! Just apply to cheeks & blend =) Very long lasting on me & super pigmented!!! My mom & sister are in love with this shade too! I get tons of compliments when I wear this! It complements my blonde hair & blue eyes so well! =)

This is a wearable barbie pink color and although I've had lipsticks that were a similar shade this one is by far the best because it's so moisturizing. You really don't need a balm underneath and because it isn't matte it doesn't accentuate the texture of your lips, it makes them appear smooth and glowy. You need multiple layers for it to appear as intense as it does in the pictures above but I actually like that because you can control how vivid the color is. It doesn't last that long on your lips, two or three hours without drinking and eating. I really like the slick black packaging as well, can't believe I got this for only 2 dollars.

I bought this lipstick as I had saw a YouTube video showing it as a dupe for MAC Pink Friday lipstick. It is a cool toned blue based pink, I don't find it to be a dupe for Viva Glam Gaga as others said. I also dont think it is like Colour Crafted or Candy Yum Yum at all. When I get Pink Friday (if ever) I will update this review but from reviews, photos etc I have a feeling this is closest. Please note NYX makes two different lipsticks called Narcissus and this review is for the round one.

I like this color best for mixing with darker pinks to brighten them up. Originally I was hunting for a combo that would be somewhat similar to how I envisioned MAC Candy Yum Yum, but since I could never get my hands on a tube, I was sort of shooting in the dark. However, I snatched up some Maybelline Fuschia Fever and some NYX liner in Dolly and swiped a but of this NYX Narcissus over the top and I really dig the color. I have no idea if it's close to Candy Yum Yum, but I am not hunting for a perfect, fun, bright pink anymore! I don't love this color alone (I think I'm too old to wear it alone; it's VERY bright and crazy) but as an added color to other lippies, it really pops. Try it lightly over some deeper fuschia or raspberry colors!

Oh also - I love the texture of NYX lippies. I know a lot of people don't, but I don't feel like I need to have a balm underneath. I do feel that a liner is needed though. A good match is the NYX liner in Dolly.

I attached a pic of the combo of the NYX Dolly liner, Maybelline Fuschia Fever, with NYX Narcissus over the top. I really love the combo. If you want more of the matte look, try skipping the Maybeliine Fuschia Fever and put the NYX Narcissus on right over your liner, and top with NYX Addis Adabe Matte Lip Cream (bright fuschia). That is another combo Iiked although it had a bet less longevity than using the Maybelline as a base.

I like the color. Its a bright, cool pink, Barbie-ish and stands out on every color skin. The texture isn't that great with any of these lipsticks, they are very creamy so it tends to gather in the lines of my lower lip (which i dont have many). I feel as though it would slip around a bit and does wear off after about an hour. The finish is pretty much matte, though it does have shimmer which to me doesnt show up, and the finish looks quite glossy. Its not moisturizing, but not drying either. Not my favorite texture in a lipstick as i prefer a thicker application (think revlon and MAC). The color is not for the faint of heart. Girly and youthful. Great for the price for girls who either love bright pinks or want to test a brighter pink before splurging on a better quality one.

I don't own a barbie pink lipstick and I missed out on MAC's Candy Yum-yum. I'm not sure how this compares to the CYY, but I'm assuming that Narcissus is more creamy and CYY is matte. This stuff can look horrible on me, if not applied correctly. It's a barbie with with cool undertones. Txt is kinda weird, but it's workable. I pair this with NYX "dolly pink" lipliner and just dab on a light coat of Narcissus on top. I top it off with MAC's dazzleglass in Rags to Riches and it gives me the most BEAUTIFUL barbie pink lips. Looks gorgeous in flash photography as well.

I love this color, it is the color of a barbie dolls lips. But the texture is a pain to use. It applies unevenly and shows lines in your lips. It also does not last it will literally disappear in under 30 minutes. The packaging isn't bad but the stick kind of sways to one side and will hit the side of the tube. Its also cheap at about $4. I will look for a lipstick with a similar color but a better texture.
