I got this as a sample with a purchase from Paula's choice.
As someone with dry skin, I really love this toner. Itfeels REALLY great! It's fragrance free and really gentle for my sensitive skin.
I'll update my review with more info when I buy the full size.

I'm surprised at the poor reviews on of this toner.
For me in surpassed all my expectations of it and was even better than the Skin Balancing toner I'd tried from Paula's Choice, except it doesn't have the same calibre of oil control.
By the one instant of changing my toner, I'd got rid of the excessive dryness and flakiness of my face after using salicylic acid. My skin is now plump and full, the pores have a more refined appearance and my skin seems healthier.
I'm not even sure what ingredient is being used to do all that as I thought niacinamide was the only ingredient that could help me with more pore size! I've also read research that suggest that the Superoxide Dismutase cannot penetrate the outer layer of the skin, so the high concentration of this ingredient in the toner is going to waste, but nonetheless, cosmetically I find the results even better than any toner I've tried.
I did have a few problems on the first couple of days with stinging- as I wasn't used to the high concentration of antioxidants, and for a little bit of time, my chin seemed to have some cystic acne nodules growing, but I persisted and these problems no longer affect me.

The HG of toners as far as I am concerned. I was a teenager back when Sea Breeze was all the rage (before we found out it was full of stuff that actually hurt vs helped our skin). While it of is true that you actually don't need a toner, as someone with dry skin, it just feels REALLY great! Also, there are many mornings when I need to get out of the house quickly and I will just use this toner before my tinted moisturizer with SPF and I am good to go for running errands and the like.
Fragrance free and chock full of great antioxidants which really provide visible benefit to the skin. I never watch infomercials, but one day the line for Cindy Crawford came on and they kept talking about how it had this special, rare antioxidant from a melon grown somewhere in Europe. Did my research, found out that was called "superoxide dismutase" and began looking at the products I was already using. Sure enough, this toner actually already had it.
It's not cheap - I think about $18 for 6 oz. but the Paula's Choice website often has sales or free shipping on a certain amount and so I will stock up then.
There is not a day in the month I don't use a toner both morning and evening. During the two weeks of my cycle when my skin is not breaking out, I use this toner. The other two weeks, I use the Paula's Choice toner from her "Clear" line which keeps any PMS breakouts away.
Love most of her stuff. And of the toners I have tried (probably over 15 in my lifetime, from Clinique, Boots, Estee Lauder, Sea Breeze . . . ), this is by far my favorite. It will leave your skin feeling soft and silky and bathe it in antioxidants without leaving any residue whatsoever.

I cannot comment about the moisturizing effectiveness of this toner as each time I tried to use it I felt a very strong buring sensation on my whole face, as well as sudden redness.
Maybe this comes from some very active ingredients Paula uses in her products but I have this reaction only with this toner, and at a lower level with the Skin Balancing and the Hydralight Toners (nothing with the Skin Recovery Toner or the Resist Toner)... the main ingredients in common between these three toners I react to is the preservative system.
Won't buy again.

It's so hard to find toners that are formulated without alcohol and irritants like witch hazel or menthol. I avoided them until I started using PC products and was surprised to see that she recommends them so highly. I bought this toner one day along with the Moisture Boost cleanser (I called customer service for a recommendation, they are amazing), and I am very pleased with it. Here's the thing; I too experienced some mild tingly/stinging sensation the first few times I used this. The customer service person said that the new formula contains a lot of antioxidants and that some people might find it a bit irritating at first, but that most people adjust to it within a few uses, and that was also the case with me, so I'd say that if it's just a mild tingly feeling hang in there and keep using. If it's super irritating and burning just stop using it, obviously, and call PC because they have a 60 day satisfaction guarantee and will help you find something else. Now I use it 2x/day and it's one of my FAVORITE steps in my skincare routine! It feels lightly hydrating and soothing, and it's loaded with good ingredients, so while it's not a necessary step, it's totally worth it. I usually just use my hands to splash this on my face, neck and chest (a bottle lasts me about 3 months). If I wore foundation then I use this on a cotton pad and it helps to eliminate every last trace of makeup.

When I searched this products on MUA to write my review I was suprised at the low rating this product received. Admittingly, I'm sure there are many similar products from other brands that will do their job just as well but there is nothing wrong with this product. It does what I want it to do and that is remove the last bits of dirt and make-up from my face after I've used the cleanser. And it does that very well. Keeping my skin feeling soft and clean.

Another worthless step, moisture boost, in a toner !!! Isn't that a job for moisturizer, Paula has some half decent moisturizer in her line, why an extra step? As she often criticize other manufacturers, and I am referring to the time when she was trying to push sales of her books & TV appearances (and there was no Paula's Choice cosmetics at the time).
Any light weight moisturizer will fill in the job nicely, not worth my time & money. I am not troll enough to buy into some of her gimmicks, what's next, sparkled glittery eyeshadow called Diamond Powder !!!

Like others, this produces a strange numbing/warming sensation on me that I find un comfortable. The ingredient list is fantastic (and is the reason this gets four stars from me) I am not sensitive to any other product I've tried by this company and it appears some others don't have the same reaction. I have recently tried the RESIST toner and absolutely love it. I'll continue to buy that instead.

I love Paula's toners. I use the hydralight and skin balancing more than this one but when I need additional moisture or I'm in a hurry and don't want to futz with an actual moisturizer, this is a good option. Bottom line, it has awesome ingredients, last a decent amount of time, and doesn't break me out.

This toner is suggested for those with normal to dry skin which describes my skin exactly. It removes the last traces of my makeup at night adding an extra dose of helpful antioxidants, leaving my skin soft, smooth and not the least bit dry or tight. Perfection!

I use it as a sample , a couple of times, i don't know about other reviewers,
but to me, I like this toner, moisturizing well, not irritating, no fragrance
I give 4 luppies cause I prefer Paula's choice skin balancing toner over this one.

I really like this toner. I haven't had good experiences from Paula's Toners. I've tried Healthy skin, Skin Recovery, RESIST replenishing and Skin Balancing. I do like the skin balancing and this one. I went into this wanting a nice toner for winter so soothe and add moisture to my skin. At first this toner feels a bit like the Skin Balancing toner. i did experience some tingling but nothing bad at all and it lasted two seconds. I thought this felt like it might dry out my skin. But after leaving it on for 15 mins before my moisturizer this does add moisture to my skin and makes it feel plumper and smooth. I really like this toner. No breakouts either!! I switched to the Skin Recovery Toner, more nourishing and great for when my skin is sensitive.

I have never been one to expect much out of a toner. Until I came across this!
It feels so soothing on my skin. It actually feels like a "treatment". And I'm always shocked at how much "gook" it picks up!
In general, I've had nothing but good experiences with her skin care products.
The packaging is ugly. With something like this I literally transfer it into a nicer looking bottle! (Using a little funnel).
Great stuff, good price!
Rock on Paula!

this is a very odd toner. like other reviewers, I experience a burning sensation each time I apply this. It's not stinging, but my face feels like it is producing heat - a very strange feeling that is uncomfortable. my skin is also not particularly sensitive..and looking at the ingredients I can't imagine what is doing this. I use vitamin C regularly so it is not that. Also, it has kind of a ..soapy texture? and I don't feel like my face is very hydrated anyway after using it. definitely try a sample before you buy the full bottle.

I really really REALLY wanted to like this product. If I did I would have bought more of it for next time instead of just the little sample packet. I don't really use a toner but I'd love one just to add a little moisture in the summer, add antioxidants to my skin, and remove any last traces of makeup. Unfortunately this stuff BURNED my skin bad. Made it red where I applied it for a little while after, but then calmed down after a while. It's too bad because if it wasn't for that I'd like it. Like another reviewer said I'd suggest buying some samples of her products first before you buy a full size just in case you don't like it or the same thing happens to you.

I purchased a few sample packages and I'm glad I didn't splurge for the full bottle. This stuff stung so bad and left my skin feeling raw and dry. The only good thing I can think of is with PC you have the option of trying a sample for a little bit of money before you buy the full product.

I tried a sample of this, and I liked it, although I think I prefer the Skin Recovery Toner. This is slightly sticky/tacky after applying due to glycerin being near the top of the ingredients list, and it stung a little when I put it on. It definitely does moisturize the skin somewhat. (Glycerin is a moisturizing ingredient.)

My best friend told me about Paula's products. She let me try a few items for a about a week or so. I was surprised that the product I liked the best was this toner. The toner removed the normal redness and tight feeling I experience after I wash my face. I even use it around my eyes. After applying it, I only need a tiny bit of moisturizer (Clinique) around my nose and on my cheeks. I love that it doesn't have any perfumes in it. I have purchased 2 bottles of it because even my boyfriend likes to use it after he shaves!
