I got this as a GWP and I hate it. It doesn't absorb into my hands at all and I have to wash it off.

This is a really good product for dry skin, which i don't have.
the only thing i don't like about this product is that it kinda of makes you face look shiny after applying. Other then that it's really good, a little goes a loooonng way.

If you are sensitive to smells DO NOT purchase this product. I got this moisturizer as a GWP. It works great but it smells strong and this product gave me a migraine after using it in the morning on my lower legs only after showering in the morning and smelling it at work all day. All I wanted to do was go home and rinse off this product!
I have never had this with a moisturizer before! I do not think that I have a scent allergy and I love the non-fruity body butters from Body Shop but this moisturizer has a serious perfume-y smell that I cannot get over. So be warned!
Yes, it moisturizes but my Body Shop stuff works just as well!

I love it. It's an excellent moisturizer for my mature skin.
Naturally I love the soft feeling on the skin, but I most enjoy its fragrance. I wear it to bed; I wear it to work.
Great stuff!

Seriously. This is an excellent workhorse to combat dryness, especially on your hands, elbows, and legs, too. This wonderful, fragrant moisturizer is ideal for the dryest of skin. It's not sticky, but absorbs readily and immediately, leaving super softness that you keep smelling because the fragrance is absolutely intoxicating.
I would definitely buy this tube (it's a gwp) once I've exhausted the supply. I highly recommend it.

I've never actually bought this product because Lancome always offers this in their gift with purchase. But I love this during the winter! I live in Canada and my skin gets super dry during the winter. I like the smell too. It's not fruity but it is sweet.

This is heavily scented but it works great as a hand cream. I keep this in my purse because its a perfect pick me up. It gives enough viscosity to provide moisture without being too greasy!

Ive been using the creme (the jar) since about april and I have noticed a huge difference. I had the scaly legs where it wasn't flaky and dry like that but you could see the dryness under the thin top layer on my legs. My legs have dramatically improved! I was using this product only a couple times a week when I lived in the ever-so-humid Ohio, but now that I'm in the dryer northern CA I need to use this once a day. I love the packaging, it looks very sleek and sort of "classic" which is so my style, and for $35 the packaging should be nice. I prefer this over the squeeze tube because my hands would slip on the tube. I like the light girly smell, but wouldn't mind if it came fragrance free.

I agree with the general consensus on the reviews. Nice scent, absorbs well. I would definitely buy again if it were less expensive. Since Lancome is owned by loreal and loreal also owns vichy and biotherm, I wonder if a similar cream is available for less money under another brand?

Nov.16th.2011 update:
I'm on my 2nd bottle now, however... after carefully reading the ingredient list. I noticed this lotion contain petrolatum and paraffin. Some may argued those can help to lock the moisture, but majority of research I did declare petrolatum/paraffin aren't good for the skin. Lancome also have 2 parabens listed it at the bottom ingredient list. The good Royal jelly extract is right next to parabens... (meaning Lancome put very little amount of royal jelly in)
I still like this body lotion a lot... at least it still work 10 times better then drug store brand. (If you like Vaseline Cocoa Body lotion, they contain high amount of petrolatum... right next to water!) Relatively speaking I still think Lancome work better... but at the same time, I might wanna search for another replacement at similar price range, I took one lip off and I might get my 3rd bottle depend if I find a good replacement or not.
===========================================
This is a very good quality "high end" body lotion. I got the largest bottle (400ml), the package is wonderful, pump system let me get exactly the amount I want.
Pro:
- It work MUCH better then drug-store brand.
- It really soften my skin without the nasty sticky greasy feeling.
- Absort very fast!
- Good package.
- Fabulous scent!
- Lancome have 400ml size avilable, which other brandname skin-care company don't often offer larger size body lotion! Its much much cheaper if you get a larger bottle!
Con:
- Contain some of the ingredients like Petrolatum and paraffin which some people with major skin-health concerns may not like it.
- Only contain very little Royal Jelly extract.
- Pricy! *$65CND, but then again.... ALL other brandname body lotion worth around the same price as Lancome's.*
So far I enjoy using it during winter season! It does make my skin so much softer. I don't mind it irritate my neck area, as I will use my Genifique or Primoridale Night cream on my neck area instead. It is pricy, but I will definitely repurchase it as long I can afford it.

Smells gr8, and I love that it absorbs well....leaves my skin soft. Whenever I use this I feel pampered and decadent, but the truth is that you can actually get better for less haha

I bought the Nutrix Body Lotion & I really like it, it moisturizes well, leaves a nice sheen on the skin & I love the citrus scent. Now the question really is: is this lotion really worth $29.00 USD & the answer is of course not. No lotion is worth that kind of money, so why did I buy it you ask? Well Lancome had this great gwp event going on & I couldn't think of a thing I really needed from them so I thought I could & would always use lotion up. But the truth is it really is a nice product, would make a nice "high end" bath & body gift especially if I threw in the gwp along. So next I'm going to buy the Nutrix body cream, but of course it'll have to be another gwp event 1st to help justify the price.

I love the Nutrix cream so when the rest of my skin started getting dry it only seemed natural to buy this body lotion too. Overall this does an ok job at moisturizing, you can definitely find something just as good if not better for less. Personally I don't like the scent, it kind of reminds me of my grandmother. I don't think I would buy this again however it's not so bad I'm not going to trash the rest of my tube either, I'll use it up since is does moisturize, just not as much as expected.

Hmmm, I can see I am among the major minority here on this product, but I adore it!!! I was a huge fan of Nutri-Source body lotion by Lancome, and when they discontinued it I was sad. It took a while before they came out with a suitable replacement, in my opinion. I actually like the Nutrix Royal Body lotion much much better than Nutri-Source! It smells sooooooo good, and it leaves my skin so moisturized, it almost feels a bit moist to the touch. I hope they never discontinue it...unfortunately Lancome is NOTORIOUS for discontinuing my favorite stuff.

Wondering what is it in Lancôme brand that makes me to come back and buy their products, even though I'm fully aware they're not worth the money? :)
Must be the image factor... LOL... I actually like this brand, it's sort of nostaligic... But as for serious skin-care, it's NOT the right place to look around!
I ended up to this out of curiosity - it was actually realistically priced, 400 ml for 32 €, which is not TOO bad. I also have the Nutrix Royal fluid and know it has a nice smell, so I had to check this one. Never tried Lancôme's body creams, so had to see if there is anything worth mentioning in them.
This has a nice consistency, a mixture of cream and milk, like a previous reviewer commented. It does the moisturizing job well, but nothing out of ordinary - so would several other products. Scent lingers on, but not too overwhelmingly. Pleasant experience, but I would not depend on this for my real needs...All the exotic ingredients in this product (royal jelly & mango seed oil, among others) are there just to add some spice.
An OK product, but way overpriced. Once in a lifetime is more than likely going to be enough...

I bought that in a big packaging - 400 ml bottle with a pump (there's also a 200 ml tube packaging).
It is a lipid enriched (nourishing) lotion for very dry skin. Contains:
Royal LipidéumT, a new exclusive complex enriched with royal jelly and vegetal oils that restores the epidermis to recover long-lasting supple and comfortable skin; extract of hazelnut peptides helps relaunch lipid production to protect the skin against external aggressions.
It is an OK body lotion but not so special, especially not for the price: I'm sure there are similar lotions for less...The consistency is thicker (half way between milky and creamy) but sinks well into the skin. Works good for hands and feet, too, and I like a bigger packaging with a pump. However, I would not repurchase. I am still on the search for a HG body lotion or body cream.
