I've been using this product off and on for about a year and a half. I noticed a huge difference when I wasn't using it so it has become an absolute necessity over the past few months. My sister once mentioned to me that I had "accordion eyes," meaning that they wrinkled up like an accordion when I would smile (she's a jerk, I know). Since using this with consistency, the lines around my eyes have been reduced tremendously! It doesn't completely get rid of lines (in my opinion, nothing will) but I've had a noticeable improvement and this will continue to be a staple in my beauty regimen.
Some people have mentioned a stinging, burning, or itching effect. Well, it has retinol in it and the packaging even warns of these side effects. I don't think the product should receive negative feedback for this because it's a common reaction if you're sensitive to retinol. I'm not sure if they still make it, but there used to be a formulation for sensitive skin.
This has been a wonderful product for me and I would recommend that if the side effects aren't unbearable, stick with it for a while! No product is going to work overnight so give it a fair shot! I love it!

I have been using this for almost a year. I don't hate it. I bought it a few times. After all this time I have seen no improvement in my dark circles or fine lines. Nothing lasting or temporary. It moisturizes but is still meh. The moisture doesn't last more than a couple of hours. It's not terrible but I think there is a lot better out there. I don't really care if I get antiaging effects but I need more moisture. So I am on the hunt for a very moisturizing eye cream.

This is probably one of the worst eye creams I have ever used. It is supposed to provide moisture and help lessen fine lines and wrinkles. All this did is dry up my eyes and provide more wrinkles. It burns and sting my eyes. Probably this is not suitable for those with sensitive and thinner skin

I've had this product for about 6 months now so I feel like this is a good time to review. I am 24 years old so i don't have horrible problems with wrinkling but I do have some fine lines. I've been wearing more make up recently and the concealers under my eye area settling in to fine lines have gotten me to notice them more. I figured it's best to try and take care of them earlier than later. I experienced no stinging or irritation from this product which is always good. I used this product at night time only, mostly because I am lazy and I would forget to apply at night time too sometimes. But hey no one's perfect right?
I bought this after reading reviews but I was still skeptical. so the first 2 weeks or so, I stared at my under eye area more so than ever. I saw results after a week. Not amazing results, I warn you. Just that the fine lines were less noticeable. However after a couple weeks, I noticed that the product had slowed down on its effectiveness dramatically. I don't know if it's because retinol is such an unstable product or if it was too hard to notice improvement since my fine lines are very fine. Anyways, it was a bit disappointing that it pretty much stopped working but I continued to use it since I hate wasting things.
6 months later, I do notice that some of the fine lines are gone, and some are less visible. I still have about 1/3 tube left so it is long lasting for me. I can't remember how much I paid for this but I would say it was worth it since it did give me results. Any kind of result is better than none in my book, especially at a low price! As for dark circles, I don't believe this product did anything for mine nor do I believe that any product would help reduce my dark circles. Also, this product is very light in moisture. I have dry skin so the moisture wasn't quite enough for me. I didn't apply anything more because like I said, I am lazy and I really don't want to extend my beauty routine too much if possible.
All in all, this product is worth a try and keep using it even if you don't see results right away!

I don't have wrinkles around my eyes yet but I do have pretty dark circles around my eyes. I've been dying to try the eye cream from Clinique but it's way too pricey for me :/ So got this because it recommended by a friend. I really haven't noticed a change. I want to say the area under my eyes has gotten a little, tiny bit lighter but maybe it's just my mind playing tricks.
The tube does sometime despense too much product, so whatever extra product I have, I just put on areas that need a little extra moisture (sides of my nose, sometimes cheek bones or chin).

Terrible! Don't waste your money girls! I have been using it for about a month and it has given me more lines! I hardly even had any to begin with (am only 25 so it was using it more as a preventative thing). Also, it burns my skin :( wish I could return it!

I am disappointed. Doesn't hydrate underneath my eye area. It was hard to get absorbed. I pat it on for about a minute, but still the same story. When I put makeup on, it all caked up and came off as little tiny balls!!! It didn't matter how long I wait to put makeup on after applying this eye cream. Horrid. Now I use this for my neck...
It was about $17 at target, but considering the quality of the product, I don't think it was worth it. I would rather invest in higher end products that at least hydrates my undereyes and doesn't ruin my makeup.
The packaging is nice - its a little tube.

I read a lot of good reviews for this eye cream and decided to try it as my first RoC product. Got it for like 14$ on Amazon. I have to say I am not impressed. I feel like it does next to nothing for the skin under my eyes. I know that it takes a long time for retinol to work so that might be part of it-- I apply multiple times a day and have had it for about a month. I read on Paula's Choice website that there really isn't a lot of retinol in it to begin with. Also it's also not particularly moisturizing. No effect on dark circles obviously. I am looking for something to diminish the creases under my eyes. Will continue to use until the tube is finished. consistency is not thick, kind of like a mix b/w a lotion and a serum. Trying the RoC multicorrection night cream now and that seems more effective.

Red, puffy, itchy, burning eyes is what I got with this stuff. Been on prescription cortisone cream for 2 days and still irritated. Never again.

I've used this since I was probably too young to bother with eye cream, but since my mom is very into anti-aging, so am I--and roc eye cream has been part of my nightly regimen for since I was 19. I am 25 now, I regularly get carded for buying 5 hour energies, (apparently you have to be 18?) and never fail to get carded for alcohol. This is a blessing, for anyone reading this under the age of 18, a true blessing--I am an insomniac--I do few to my favors to my body, I am chocoholic, and clearly I drink...so something must be given to the ROC, no? I use it quite religiously, granted--only on the very rarest of occasions will you catch me sleeping in my makeup, and I don't venture outside without LRP anthelios SPF 15 on my face, or rayban wayfarers if it's sunny...but still--I give credit to this product. Recommend.

I just started using this product a few days ago. So far I love how my skin feels and it does seem to be lightening my dark circles. The tube is annoying but I'm figuring out how to control it. Lol. So far I say it's a good product. Will edit my review when more time passes.

i got this with my moisturizer tubes from costco...i think its full size, its 15ml. i have nothing bad to say about this lol. i got it for free and had never intended to buy it. ive used it for maybe 2 months and theres still a GOOD amount left, you really dont need much at all. it doesnt make my eyes dry or itchy or stingy. i didnt get this b/c i hav wrinkles or dark circles so i cant say anything about that, but it does well in moisturizing without being too heavy. absorbs very quickly. i dont just use this for my undereye, but also my lids so it doesnt get all dried up from make up and makeup remover.

Bought this since I've tried soooo many eye creams and most of them being mediocre I said why not.....Well, turns out that I love this cream....it doesn't sting my eyes, isn't oily and I saw a visible difference in my dark cirlcles and very fine lines I have. I love it!!! The consistency isn't too thick or creamy yet not runny or oily it's really good. Will definitely buy again!!

I was very anxious to try this due to Allure magazine’s past accolades, and that drugstore.com lists it as being oil-free. My skin is oily, and even eye creams that claim to be non-comedogenic can still cause milia on my eye area. But my eyes still need moisture I wanted to start using a retinol to prevent wrinkles and keep the skin smooth (I was seeing some fine lines from dryness (they come every winter and summer). Once I read the label in person, the words “oil-free” were nowhere to be found, and the ingredients list was completely different from what drugstore.com had listed. I still decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. First off, the texture isn’t what I expected at all, which is actually a good thing. I expected a thick, heavy cream, but this is extremely light, a cross between a lotion and a serum, feeling weightless on the skin and absorbs very quickly. Despite the light texture, it seriously moisturizes. I use this morning and night. I instantly saw the fine lines from dryness plump, after one week of use the lines were almost gone, and after three weeks they were completely gone! I do have some natural folds in my lower lids, being Asian, so those are still there, but my eyes look so refreshed. This doesn’t do anything for dark circles, but it doesn’t claim to either. A tiny, half-a-baby-pea size bead of this eye cream does the trick for each eye. If I have any left on my ring finger after gently patting it into the skin, I’ll apply that to my lips (I do that sporadically, so I haven’t seen any big change in my lips other than they are softer and flake less). I love that this comes in a tube and not a pot, much more hygienic and travel-friendly. I also use this on my husband, but since he doesn’t apply any skincare unless I do it for him, he only gets this at night and only about three times a week when we remember, so he hasn’t seen much change, so you must use this consistently to get results. Still, the results I’ve seen on me are enough to keep me faithful to this eye cream, I will absolutely buy this again!

This is the best eye cream I have EVER used. I cannot believe the difference around my eyes just after a week or so of use. Highly recommend, this stuff works!

Disclaimer: I bought the CVS version of this eye cream. I have not used the RoC brand.
Since my initial review I stopped using this. I feel for me that this doesn't work. I think it is but truly when I stop and actually look in the mirror it isn't. I've tried other eye creams but they don't seem to work either.

My mom recommended this and after about 1-2 weeks of use, my skin got what I thought was a chemical burn. Red, puffy, scaly, burning. I don't have particularly sensitive skin, and at the time I thought it was from a 10% glycolic toner and didn't connect it with the RoC. I went back to some very basic Nivea stuff to get everything back to normal and didn't end up using the RoC on a regular basis. Then I took it with me on a recent trip and used it for 10 days straight. Once again, I had the red, puffy, burning, scaly eyes. I've only had that happen twice and both times I was using this product exclusively. So, I have to give this a big thumbs down. In addition to it causing irritation, I never noticed any improvement in lines, so it didn't even do anything positive. Price is somewhat expensive -- I got it in a combo pack at Costco so thankfully didn't pay full price and the metal tube is good for protecting the retinol. Just have to be careful not to puncture it, but I never had any problem with that. In short, the retinol may just be too much to use daily in the eye area and the emollient base doesn't do anything to reduce lines or moisturize.

I am surprised by the bad reviews of this product. I have super-sensitive skin and can't even go near products by Neutrogena and Olay (just to mention a few). This one, however, doesn't sting, dry, or irritate my skin at all--and believe me, I am a real basket case when it comes to bad reactions to cosmetics! I use it during the day (applying anything around the eyes during the night makes them puffy anyway). Combined with Retinol Correxion, this product has almost completely erased my crow's feet. Also, it may help keep my puffiness at bay--but I also use Instant Eye Tuck for that purpose, so I am not completely sure this product should get full credit. The packaging was not a problem for me at all. In fact, it seems pretty easy to use.

Great product! Dark circles run in my family. I use this every night and wake up bright and beautiful. Worth the $20.
My update: After a few months, the cream started to dry out and flake as if it had gone bad. Not sure if its the tube, but definetly not buying again.
