This is my favourite eyeliner, repurchased this around 6 times and I still love it! Lasts forever on my eyes especially love it when I'm wearing false lashes and the colour is intense black very dramatic.

This eyeliner has became my all time favorite. I did have doubt before purchasing it since I do have very oily eyelids. Every single eyeliner (from high end to drugstore) I have never used would crease on my eye during day, even I always use an eye primer.

I still bought this eyeliner because recommended by the beauty counselor at the Bourjois store. I bought the two in Absolute Black and Violet Laser (purple) colours.

Pros,
` They are so good in quality with no shimmer in it.
` They never crease on my eyelids even after 12 hours' wear. (even without primer or setting with eyeshadow)
` The brush head is so fine. You could easily create a cat eye look with it.

Cons,
` Only comes in very limited colours (6 colours) but all of them are so pretty.
` The Violet Laser one doesn't show up very well on my eyes. Maybe it is because of my medium skin tone. Have to draw over the eyeliner for a few time so as to make it more visible.
` A bit pricey for drugstore make up but I think it is so worth it. I bought it for 108HKD each (Around 14USD).

Anyway, I ended up buying another one in Electro Blue as well. I love the colour. It showed up pretty good on eyes as well.

Electro Blue - SUCH a gorgeous color - I've never seen such a bright, gorgeous electric blue. But as another reviewer said, it left a very noticeable blue stain even after industrial strength remover. Not good :(

One of the best liquid liners I've tried. Lovely thin brush makes it easy to apply. Much better than some of the high end liquid liners for a 1/3 of the price!

I bought the color absolute black and I like how it shines. It is a really intense black to and it stays on okay. However I do not like the brush and the texture of the product. The texture is really wet and therefore hard to apply evenly. The brush is also hard to control for me. I like MAC liquid last liner more, because the texture of the product is not as watery and I can draw beautiful lines easily. I find I can only really easily make simple lines on my upper lashes. I need to forget about the winged retro anything when I am using this liner. I als usually use a separate brush becuase it is so hard to control. However I like it better than felt tip applicators.

Let me start of by saying I'm usually MAC obsessed, most of my make-up is MAC, and except mascara and (now) liquid eyeliner, I use MAC everything. I bought the MAC Liquid Eye Liner (in the little pot) and found the brush too thick. It made applying it very hard because my eyelashes got in the way and I found it didn't last very long at ALL (would start 'cracking'). I then tried MAC Superslick Liquid Eye Liner. IMO this is the worst eyeliner from MAC. It dries up ridiculously quickly and there's never much of the actual product on the brush so you have to keep dipping it in. Another thing, I bought it in 'On The Hunt', described as 'true black' and I would NOT say it was true black at all. It's definitely leaning towards a dark grey. One plus is that it is OK in terms of long lasting, it doesn't crack or smudge but the negatives definitely outweigh this one plus.

Now, onto Bourjois Clubbing Liner. I bought this after I decided to start trying out drugstore liners in my quest to find the perfect one. I LOVE the thin brush. It makes applying it SUPER easy and I'd definitely recommend for eyeliner beginners or just users of eyeliner in general who are perhaps not complete experts at applying it. With this, you can apply it in one sweep. No dotting and joining, a sweep is super easy and application takes about 15 seconds. Eyelashes don't get in the way, and although I've read reviews saying the brush is too 'thin' I don't think this AT ALL. It is absolutely perfect. If you want a really thick line you can very easily create one by simply sweeping across twice - think!! The liner is super long lasting and lasts until I go to bed. It doesn't smudge AT ALL, and I love being able to go out and not whip my mirror out every 1-2 hours to double check my eyeliner is OK. If you apply it thick in the corner of the eye it may start 'cracking', but this is just because of blinking and does happen with most if not all liquid eyeliners.

I'd never looked at Bourjois being a favourite brand of mine, but it has definitely gone up in my estimations and I value it as much as I do MAC. I do hope people give this beauty a chance because it is a diamond in my collection. I hope this helps someone. :-)

On the packaging it says that clubbers swear by this product because it is supposedly sweat-proof and water-proof but it doesn't seem to work on me. The brush is extremely thin. It's good in the sense that drawing fine lines will be no problem, but bad in other, because it takes multiple dips into the jar to fill in and draw thicker streaks.

And it was certainly not waterproof- I could wash it all away (even after I gave it some time to set in, and even tried it with primer) with just tap water. And it stung my eyes when I tried to draw the outer corners of my eyes. I'll be returning it to the store.

This liquid liner comes out quite sheer, so I do need to apply twice to get the dark color. As the tip is quite thin,so personally I think it is more suitable for ppl who have liquid eyeliner experience before to use. It is water-proof and has tiny silver sparkles in it which is quite pretty.

Along with Dior's Style Liner, Liner Clubbing (in Absolute Black) is my go to liquid liner. The consistency is great for working with timing-wise and I can achieve any size line I desire with the brush. For the price, I also think the amount of product is on point.

My only issue is that the product more often than not looks like it is sitting ABOVE my lashes rather than IN my lashes. That is, it doesn't look as polished as it could...then again, that might just be my skills (or lack thereof) talking. The eyeliner does tend to stick to the brush in tiny, ever so slightly congealed globs so if you try to apply between lashes, you get globs that are difficult (and much too time consuming) to diffuse. However, the sheer staying power of the eyeliner definitely makes it work the set backs for me. I used to wear this liner for 12 hours at a time and never had any issues with flaking or smearing, and that = winni*

(*edited for length due to overused and quite frankly unwelcome meme).

I got this black liquid eyeliner, the applicator is kind of brush, and it always gets too much product on the tip, so it's hard to get a thin smooth look. However, the colour is really black and very intensive. Overall, I won't buy it again.

I have already purchased ultra black once and brown vibes twice but I don't think I'll repurchase.

First of all the colours are really beautiful. The black is bold black and the brown is shimmery - in a good way. Another pro is that you can achieve the thiniest line ever - which is a good thing for a more subtle look.

Now, the bad things: It takes a lifetime to dry and since you blink it's disaster. You might have to do your eye make up from the beginning, really annoying! And I don't find it sweatproof or anything... Also the tip is very thin - hence the thin line but very bendy, not steady at all and can hurt the eyelids if not used carefully.
In addition it's not meant to create bold lines, unless you try hard.
And the cap tends to crack, although I don't find that important.
I think it's time for me to experiment with other eyeliners...

Well well! There are few things I would like to comment about, price, packaging, brush, and the liquid.

The price was somewhat expensive, I had gotten this at Priceless for about 20 dollars (I bought this a couple of months back). So it was relatively expensive for an eyeliner of drugstore ends.

The packaging looked cheap. It didn't look classy or anything, just cheap. A month later the words on the product was barely legible. There is a gap between the lid and and the bottle, about 2mm wide, that I just can't seem to get rid of!

The brush, at first, looks like a complete ideology. It was thing and great to pinpoint... AT FIRST! When you actually try applying this onto your eyes, you will feel that the brush is wobbly, and the line produced is not solid, but a gross, uneven bump. It looked like mountains. Not only was the brush not accurate, it felt like i was brushing a toothpick against my eyelids. Yes the brush was the problem - I dipped one of my old Dior brushes into the ink and it turned out absolutely fine.

The liquid is jsut about the only good thing with this product, hence the 2 Star rating. It is very resistant, though not waterproof, it could be a pain to remove, but if you're like me and you love with when its highly resistant, the ink is perfect.

Overall I will not repurchase this item.

The color of this liner is great! It's very pigmented so I always get the best color. However, the formula itself is not so great. It just sits on the eyelids and doesn't dry. If I move my eyes it starts to smear into my crease. It also does not last 24 hours like it says it will. It wears off within an hour. The packaging is disappointing too. I don't like the wand because it is so tiny and shows every little wiggle that you did while applying. The wand also doesn't hold that much product. I find that I have to keep dipping it in at least three or four times for me to get the perfect amount. Would not buy this liner again.

I got this liner in 82 Electro Blue, i love the color it is soooo pretty, it stays on very well too. But one problem i got with it is when i try to take it off with my eyemakeup remover (i use loreal's gentle lip and eye make-up remover) i'll get this blue stain on my lids afterwards.- -but overall i still like this liner, i wonder if that happens with other colours too :P

I love this eyeliner! I've been using it for years now. I have sensitive eyes as I am a contact lens wearer and haven't experience any irritation, only if I've been crying which is a rare occurrence.

I use the black religiously. It does take a while to dry but the application goes on smoothly and lasts all day. It does have a tendency to dry out, but to be honest I can't remember when I bought my last tube so its probably past the use by once opened date. Love love love.

Bought this because when I tried the tester in Ulta on my hand it seemed to blend out well - handy when I want to use it as a base - and the Black Tide color was lovely blended or full strength.

Actual application is awful. It does indeed sting eyelids, takes forever to dry, and doesn't blend at all w/o getting blotchy (despite what tester did). When dry, the line of product ripples the skin of my eyelid then starts flaking within 20 min. When smudged out as a base and covered with shadow, it causes the shadow to flake and crease within an hour - no matter what primer was used.

I tried this about 8 different ways and combinations - light, heavy, primer, no primer, different brush, finger only application - and *none* of them worked well enough to leave the house.

Also, the cap cracked w/o rough treatment. It's rubbish.
