Let me start by saying there are several types of this moisturizer.

In the UK there are three kinds: Touch of Sun "Light", Touch of Sun "Deep", Touch of Sun "Overnight"

There is only one type of this in the US: Touch of Sun Cream

This review is for the Touch of Sun "Deep" that I bought in the UK.

First of all, this cream was expensive for an Olay, drug store product (18 GBP or about 28 USD). I bought it based on the reviews here because I wanted a self-tanner for my face during the winter but didn't want to add an extra 'step' in my skin care regimen.

I am fair skinned but bought the 'Deep' anyway to make sure I would get color. I have been using it for a week now and have experienced no noticeable color difference. It moisturizes well, but perhaps too well as my skin feels a bit on the greasy side after using it. If it wasn't so expensive I would throw it out, but I will opt to finish the bottle and try to find something else. So disappointed, really wanted this to be the one!

Love this! This is such a natural tan effect. I never use self tanners, and have no oranginess whatsoever -- and I am very fair. The moisturizer is wonderful too. My skin feel great. I am really glad I tried this.

i'm a user of olay total effects for the past 6 years (from the age of 18 to currently 24) and i'm really excited to try this when this came out. too bad when i bought this i was breaking out bad from my make up so it doesn't do much for me because i was hoping for a good coverage foundation. but i can see what theyre trying to do with this product. i still keep a bottle of this, for when my breakout reduces i think i might just use this instead of all the other foundations i have for everyday use. i trust Olay Total Effects range and i can see this product is moisturizing, at the same time, it does smooth out my skin tone a bit and overall my skin should look a bit more amazing and evenly toned, yet VERY VERY natural. its expensive but i think it would be another great product from Olay for me once all my acne scars are healed.

I have always avoided buying face moisturisers with a hint of self-tan as I was afraid of looking like an oompa lumpa! How happy
am I then that I decided to try this fab product. It gives my pasty Irish skin a lovely slightly tanned glow without an orange streak in sight. As a brilliant added bonus it has managed to even out my skintone, banish 90% of my blackheads and firm up my skin. I have tried EVERYTHING from Clinique to Clarins to Ren to Dermalogica to Thalgo and then some and nothing has improved my skin like this super little product. It is the only skincare product that I have ever repurchased and is a snip at just over 10 euro.

This review is for Total Effects 7x Touch of Sunshine without spf, I noticed there are reviews for this and the one with spf both here. I really like this, I was looking for something with a self tanner that I could use as a nightime moisturizer. This fits the bill really well, I was alternating using a good moisturizer with using a self tanner, and this is both. I haven't had any problems with turning orange as some people have, and I am pretty light. If that happens, I will just alternate this with Total Effects without the self tanner. This just gives me enough color that my face doesn't look super pale, not really a tan look. Would definately repurchase.

My boyfriend ended up buying this for me by mistake, instead of my normal Olay Total Effects SPF 15 standard moisturiser. I have sensitive skin and it goes on great, and leaves my skin soft but i don't really like the smell, Also don't like uing 'fake tan' on my face, don't want to get a orange face, so try not to use it too much.

Hmm l'm surprised by the positive reviews this product has, unfortunately I have not had a good experience with it. For starters I have not noticed any tanning effect, even though I used the "deep" version and have pale NC15 skin. It makes my skin extremely shiny and oily for hours afterwards and I've never really considered myself to have particularly oily skin before. Lastly I find the smell disgusting! So bad that that alone is enough to put me off repurchasing. I've always been a big Olay fan but sadly this didn't work for me at all. Maybe the UK formula is different from the US?

I used this cream for about a month now. The first couple of weeks it looked great on my light skin. All of my tiny flaws and age spots seemed to blend in. I looked like I had a flawless, even toned complection. Then as I continued using it (only at night, I might add) My skin started to turn an odd, unnatural, orangey color. And it did nothing for my fine lines on my forehead either. The texture is nice though, and it is clean, and fresh smelling, but needless to say I won't be using this anymore.

PERFECT!!! This is my new HG moisturizer after a month usage. Believe me I've tried most brands short of La Mer, nothing works as great as this that doesn't irritate my dry sensitive skin. If you have ruddy patches, permanent scarring or mild age spots, this might be great because what it does is to gradually darken your base skin color so it will be closer to darker unwanted spots making them much less obvious. It doesn't darken skin much actually, just a little. If you are medium toned like me or darker you probably won't notice any difference. I use this once in the daytime and Night Of Olay for the nights. Once NOO is finished I shall use this both day and night. It makes my skin babysoft, smooth, and very supple. It must be doing good because I got comments on how youthful my complexion appears of late.

I´m reviewing the Total Effects 7x touche of sunshine Anti-ageing with spf15. I love this product! Is got a nice smell and leaves my skin glowy and with a very natural tan (my skin is naturally tanned but it tends to get yellowish during the winter).
Although I don´t like that it takes some time to absorbs on the skin and makes my forehead too shiny, I did not find any other so affordable with tan, spf and anti-ageing effect.

Very natural color, after 2 applications your skin starts to glow. Never streaky. One pump lets out alot of product so I use the excess on my neck which I usually neglect. I am very pleased with this!

I have been using tons of samples of this and having always dismissed the Olay brand I am suprised I like this.
I have combination skin and this moisturiser sinks in nicely without being too heavy or too oily, provides a good base for my make-up and has a nice fragrance.
I love the fact that there is an SPF of 15 too as I think this is important for a daytime moisturiser.
The tan part is very gradual and very natural. If this cost half the price I would not hesitate to purchase however I think over £14 is excessive for an Olay moisturiser. I am NW20 for referance

Touch of Sunshine is the newest addition to the Total Effects range. I've been a big fan of Total Effects for years - it makes my skin smooth and firm, and I think it's helping me because I often get comments on how young I look for my age - and I was delighted to see that I could combine my favourite moisturiser with a self-tanner.

This version is similar to the rest of the Total Effects range. It comes in a large plastic pump, which disguises just how little product there is inside. I wish Olay would be more economical with their packaging, because it is really quite wasteful, but at least the pump is hygienic. The product is a thick lotion and a little goes a long way - one pump is way too much for my face, so I try to get half a pump out if I can. The scent isn't as pleasant as the usual scented Total Effects cream - it reminds me of Veet/Nair - but there is an SPF of 15 which is good for the daytime.

I have the light version (it comes in a deep tan version as well) and it gives me a lovely sunkissed glow. I am very happy with this product.
