This is a good summer lotion. I currently live in a hot and humid country. although i sweat a lot sometimes but this lotion still keep me fresh and doesnt leave any greasiness feeling. Good packaging, low priced.

i really don't like the smell of this stuff. and i actually found this not moisturizing at all... perhaps it was too thin, idk. i like the other moisturizers from st. ives but this one is a definite miss. don't recommend this product.

but i'd like to point something out - my dad likes this product.. lol. he doesn't use creams much but he likes to reach for this one. maybe its because of the pump though :P

This lotion is now called "Aloe and Chamomile", but it's still the same great lotion. I used to use the Vaseline Aloe lotion, but that was too watery for my taste. This one is a lot thicker, and more moisturising, but still not good enough for my extremely dry legs (especially after shaving). On the plus side, it does make for a great non-greasy after manicure lotion. I like to give my hands a manicure at least once a week, and this keeps them from drying out on days I just don't have time to do my entire hand/nail regimen. I'll use the bottle until it runs out as a hand lotion, but I still need something more substantial for my body.

St. Ives Aloe Vera Body Lotion is probably the only product from St. Ives that I don't really like. Sure, it has a clean, refreshing scent and sinks in almost immediately, but it doesn't moisturise enough, even in the summer I still feel a bit dry after smoothing some of this into my skin. I can't really feel any soothing effects on my skin, just a light, fresh lotion that may be good if you want a really, really light lotion for everyday use in summer. Won't be repurchasing - even though it was SO cheap!

I vaguely remember using this product but I adored the scent..smelled like REAL aloe and had that "clean'' feeling to it. Overall, Nice quality and do reccommend it!

I brought it for the smell. It works well as a light moisturizer. Absorbs fast into the skin. But afterwards, my skin became dry again quickly.

I don't know why this has gotten a low rating, but I love this stuff. It smells so refreshing and it soothes dry skin too. I think it's rather thick and really locks in the moisture when put on directly after a shower. It's inexpensive, easy to find, and it works. I took one lippie off because I don't think it's the BEST lotion that I have ever used, but it does a good job.

I really like the smell and feel with this product, though I am not entirely happy with the "soothing" effect because, and i do not know why, my face starts to sting a bit after i put it on after the shower. If it didn't sting it would be a perfect ten because this product smells and feels so good on my other body parts.

this product is different now, it's called aloe & chamomile and it does absolutely nothing for my eczema prone skin but i keep a bottle of this on my desk at work for a hand lotion because i LOVE the smell. if you have the type of skin that this would work for all over your body...i'm jealous!

i love this lotion! i always keep a bottle of it on my desk. too bad it doesnt come in a squeezy tube, or its going in my purse too.
i love the scent, and it does absorb easily..
the only con would be it's not thick enough for winter..

This lotion is very light. I don't like it as much at Whipped Silk or 24 Hr.
This would be great for summer, when your hands and body don't need as much
moisture. This smells nice- exactly like Vaseline Intensive Care's Herbal
scent they had out many years ago.

I really like this moisturiser but I think that has a lot to do the scent which I really like. Its a light lotion , which sinks into the skin quickly and doesnt leave a greasy feeling on your skin. It claims that its for 'extra dry skin' but I personally dont think it would be moisturising enough for that. As I have mostly normal skin its fine for me.

I have a bottle of this sitting on my desk at work, and everyone always steals a squeeze! Like the whipped silk, this is also not greasy and absorbs right into the skin. Smells really pretty too. I love that it has a lot of natural ingredients in it, and St. Ives never tests on animals :)

I didn't like this product overall-I just found it not as moisturizing as my good old jergens body lotion. the scent is pleasant and I was looking for a cheap product that contained aloe vera. it just wasn't high on my list of moisturizers.

This review is for the Aloe Vera Intensive Therapy Cream that comes in a tube. (for Extra Dry Skin) The product is non-greasy and absorbs well, but the scent is overpowering. How about toning down the strong scent?

This is an average moisturiser. The fragrance very average and although not greasy, it seems to take a while to absorb. It’s just not as nice as using many other moisturisers. The price is good, though.

I used my sister's St. Ives aloe vera cream and it is very greasy on my hands. Kinda runny, as if I can easily wipe it on the furniture. I prefer goat's milk lotion: it actually SINKS INTO the skin unlike this product.

Oh yea... I actually AM swiss... and I don't like their products. What was my sister thinking? I prefer real European lotion; not this american stuff.

I actually have very soft skin (at least thats what everyone says) and the way I maintain my softness is knowing that the lotion I'm using makes me soft. I didn't feel that soft after applying this product. I kept reapplying because I felt very dry.
