I cant believe the bad reviews. This is my favorite lip balm......it lasts forever...it doesnt dry my lips out....and i use it in the colorless style....i think most bliss products are overindulgent in a good way.....the hand cream REALLY moisturizes, The menthol body wash REALLY cools your entire body..and the Lip Balm REALLY hydrates and feels comfortable on and when its off...and thats a big difference with other balms....your dry afterwards

The colors are okay but the formula borders on tacky and somewhat of a pasty lip cream. I definitely say that Marcia Kilgore is a killer of a marketing and advertiser though- her catalogue sure did sell me on a few of these.

A very pleasant nude pink that matches the color of my natural lips exactly. No discernible taste or fragrance. I mark it down one lipstick for the gritty appearance in the pot. Although the grit does seem to melt once it's on my lips, I can feel it when I first put it on and some of you might as well. Plus, for $18 I agree with most of the others there should be either more product, better packaging (couldn't they figure out how to get a mirror in there?), or both. Another lipstick down. CK Pink Lacquer is also MLBB and I got way more product for $17USD. Still, it's an elegant color and I will enjoy using it. But after it's gone, no looking back.

It is sticky. Sticky on your fingers, on your lips.... it would be a lot better in a tube.

sticky stuff, imo, and hard to get off your finger once you've applied it. i bought it at the bliss web site on clearance--otherwise far too expensive. like the color alot (milky pink) but avoid using it for the most part due to application woes.

Overall I would say this is a decent gloss, not great but not bad either. I RIS Cherry Good from a fabu swapper and the color is a great sheer red - it looks much darker in the pot - wonderful for springtime. It does feather a little so I recommend lipliner. The pot is nice and sturdy, but I'm not a fan of pot glosses in general (this is the main reason I wouldn't purchase it), but I apply it with a brush. It's only slightly sticky, which is nice. Staying power is decent for a gloss. I would like this better if it were moisturizing.

I ended up taking a butter knife and scraped out the lip gloss from the container...then I put another brand gloss in it because the pot is SO THIN that I could put in a jeans pocket and it didn't create a bulge! A+ on packaging...but the product fails.

Product: Not all that great smelling & DRIED my lips so terribly bad. I will not get this one again.

Packaging: While lip pots aren't the greatest...I LOVE the fact that it is so thin. (Although this then means there is less product for those of you who will actually use it.)

Bliss has such a great catalog...they make everything sound great...I had to try this gloss when they called it the ideal gloss for the blue or green eyed girl. It is a beautiful pink with a hint of violet. It goes on very sheer (more sheer than I'd like) but the color is great and it is not at all sticky or gooey. A great everyday gloss as it conditions your lips. If I want more color I layer it over my Chanel Nude lipliner. I took off points for the price and being in a pot.

Eh. I've used better glosses, and the price is really out of line. For $18 they could have at least put a little mirror in the compact like Chantecaille does. Lasts quite a while but at the cost of extreme goopiness, of the "if-I-press-my-lips-together-I-have-to-pry-them-apart" variety. Sleep purple and Red Rum are both very nice shades, but only on your lips, not on your fingers. Lip brush mandatory, because you will NEVER get this off if you apply it with fingers.

PRICE: $18.00

Yay! These are awesome! I have to admit I'm not a fan of the pot-gloss style packaging - I don't like dipping my finger into glosses.. just seems kind of unsanitary and messy. But the gloss itself is beautiful - very glossy, creamy, and best of all, moisturizing. It's not sticky, which is a bonus, and the colors are sheer yet vibrant.

The colors are gorgeous, but it is otherwise a VERY standard gloss. Actually, there are many glosses I like better--this one feels a little "grainy" and heavy on my lips. I bought Milky Pink at Sephora a year ago for $13, and felt it was overpriced even then--while I love the color, I won't pay $18 for it.

I got this In Ruby Red for $5 at the after xmas sale and it came with a card. The gloss itself is a nice sheer blue red shade that really would work for everyone. Very pretty shade. The gloss itself is average, not too drying but doesnt last that long either. No applicator either and i am not fond of using my fingers. I would not repurchase for $18.

i have Babe - a sheer shimmery red which gives a slight rosy tint to lips. the texture is nice & moisturising, slightly more shiny than a lipbalm but not longlasting.
the $18 pricetag is outrageous, especially when you consider the laughable amount of gloss you get: barely more than a fourth of a MAC Lipglass, for instance.

I received this item from my Secret Santa. What a great surprise! I have Pink Slip, and it's a gorgeous color, either alone, or over another shade. The gloss is just shiny enough, and it doesn't dry out my lips at all. The only things I don't like? I do wish it would last longer, and I'm not crazy about the pan. I don't carry brushes with me, and just tend to find a wand more convenient. Other than that, it's a wonderful product that I really am glad to have in my makeup "wardrobe!"

#4 Half Naked is the perfect everyday shade for my fair skin. It's not goopy or messy and it STAYS! A little pricey, but definitely worth it!

While I really like the texture, moisturizing properties and subtle colors I hate the price ($18) and the fact that it comes in a pan. I can't be bothered to carry a lipbrush with me at all times. Available at blissworld.com

I don't see what's so great about this--what all the hype is about. I recieved this in a swap and not that I regret the swap but I could have gotten something else. It had no smell or taste at all which I guess is better than smelling or tasting bad...I have Pink Slip and it looked pink in the pot (v. cute package, by the way!) but it went on pretty much clear and glossy...but I could have used vaseline for that!!

I am a sucker for the catalogs that I get in the mail from Bliss. I can never get on line with this company (which frustrates the heck out of me) but their catalog bowls me over every time. I find myself frantically faxing them an outrageous order despite myself (or the hundreds of cosmetics I already own). I have this lipgloss in some of their old colors - milky pink, nudge and ruby rub. In the new colors I have sweet, cherry good, saucy and grape. These glosses look expensive but it takes just a dab to give my lips sheer wonderful color with just the right amount of staying power. I alternate using the different colors and never get tired of them.
