Really like this shampoo for my thick, coarse, frizzy hair. Not many shampoos work for my hair type, and as far as relatively cheap goes, this is one of the rarities. Worth a try if your'e on a budget and need some softening to your hair, because it does make a noticeable difference.

Took a chance on this product.....never heard of it really...I love it. My hair is left super soft, fresh, and just a guaranteed good hair day with the use of this..I really think this is due to the shampoo because I have been using the same old conditioners, etc. The only down fall is that it is a tad hard to untangle when getting out of the shower but after that hair is left super soft and manageable.Would def repurchase

I wanted to try this for quite some time. I love the bottles and the design. I really like their advertisement, and the fact that its British. (It intrigued me) But I really dislike this product. I've tried many because I am a hairdresser. I've been a faithful Redken smooth down customer but this last go around, it made my hair strawlike. Think they changed something. And I saw many reviews for GW, from people that said this was better than Redken. Well, I will say that the "no build up" clain is true but it did nothing for me hair. It made it very poofy, and straw like. No moisture capability and certainly not soft, let alone velvety. The scent was very chemical to me as well. I expected it to smell more like what many silicone types smell like. But this smelled awful to me. Not fruity, no flowery, not even salon-y. I always smell before I buy but this was in a gift set and I didn't want to tear it open. I was very disappointed with this product. I really wanted to like this but it was a total let down for me. The price is average for salon products. I'd say get a sample first before you buy it. My hair type (if it helps to know) is baby fine, but very curly and needs lots of moisture without weight. And I need products with slip and detangling ability, with quality leave-ins. P.S. Garnier sleek and shine outdoes GW in every way for me!
