This is my dream lipstick. Beautifully pigmented color, lasts FOREVER (i have to use makeup remover on my lips to get it off), and the gloss is a perfect sheen without being too "wet" and keeps my lips from drying. Nude topaz is my favorite color, but it's been discontinued. When I finish my tube, I'll have to go find out if they have a similar color. :( The only problem I had with this product is that the gloss part of the tube wouldn't close correctly and kept leaking all over my makeup bag -- SUCH a bummer.

I have never tried any Chanel lip product before. When I purchased this, I asked the saleslady if it lasts long and she said 8 hours and true to her word it really lasted a long time on my lips. Contrary to the other review, this color is perfect for me. I'm olive skin toned and this one looks good on me. It definitely shows up on my lips. The only thing is i need to master the application so it uniformly covers my lips and it feels a little bit drying but not really bothersome.

Wow - talk about getting exactly what you ask for, and regretting that you asked in the first place. This is the most nude-y nude lipstick I've ever applied - it literally disappeared on my lips with even two coats. I really love Chanel longwearing lipsticks, but this one had absolutely no color whatsoever - it is entirely fleshtoned. I never realized that I actually wanted a nude lipcolor to have some color, but one try of this lipstick and I realized that I certainly do. Twenty-seven bucks for lips that look exactly like they do without $27 dollar lipstick on them is definitely not money well-spent. Go for Chanel's "Amber" instead and get a l'il color for your dollar.

All of the Chanel Rouge Double Intensite lipsticks are such an underrated product, perhaps the best of all the lipsticks Chanel has to offer behind Rouge Allures. It's a long-lasting liquid lipstick with color on one end and a clear gloss on the other. Slight vanilla scent, but not overwhelming. Unlike other lipsticks of similar style, this wears off evenly instead of flaking. I get a good 7-8 hours.
Nude Topaz is exactly as it sounds, a nude lipstick with a hint of pink that makes it wearable. Combined with the gloss, it's very much the Jennifer Lopez nude lip and utterly gorgeous. The shade came out with Chanel's Fall 2007 collection.
A tip: Rather than using the doefoot applicator to apply the color, I use a flat concealer brush. Mine is just a cheap one from Posh. It helps the color lay more evenly, creating a gorgeous canvas for the gloss! I did take off one lippie because the gloss end tends to spurt out if you push back in too quickly. Retails for $32.
