If anyone ever doubted the importance of brows in your overall look, look no further than this little book. There´s a reason why some people are WILLING to shell out $60.00 to ¨professional¨ to maintain their brows, and not just to keep up with current trends. They do make a difference to their overall appearance. Before reading this book I thought my brows were an evil menace that should be tortured with every single type of waxing and hair removal method I find. I was never satisfied with the way my brow ladies styled my brows, whether they used threading, tweezing, or waxing. I found I always looked the same. Thanks to this book I took manners into my own hands and decided to shape them myself. I learned I can make any shape possible with some brow pencil, brow gel ( or clear mascara), some tweezers, and some brow scissors. Yes, even Audrey Hepburn ¨Sabrina¨ era brows. And yes, they were tinted. I´ve never recieved so many compliments on my face (and I get a lot, not bragging) nor have I noticed such a remarkable difference. One of the things I now get remarked often for, other than my lips or skin are my brows. My friends and family now rely on me to do their brows. And I make extra money from doing them. I do them often.
The book itself is very ingormative and leaves nothing unventured. The only thing I truly dislike about the book are the pictures, as many have said before me. They have an awful 80s feeling to it. I didn`t mind the formating so much, I felt it gave it an air of....¨feminininity¨, you know like those vintage beauty books? Books that had frills yet were no nonsense at the same time. If you feel your brows could use a change, then truly look no further than this book before spending on someone else to do them. If you don´t mind someone else doing them, fine. But, like the massage of this book, you won´t believe the difference you could make yourself, with the right tools, at the privacy of your own home. For me it is a fun, yet relaxing process. And I´ve saved a ton of money doing them on my own. Highly, highly, recommend this book.
P.S: I can´t wait to buy brow stencils!!!!

This is a good reference for eyebrow shaping; however, it could use better photographs. There's an old photo of Sophia Loren which is downright scary-looking! Also, the photos of ordinary people also appear out-of-date.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
All I have to say is... WHERE HAS THIS BOOK BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? Wow, finally, I don't need to have my eyebrows waxed anymore. I even do my eyebrows BETTER then the lady who waxes my eyebrows, all thanks to this book.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Combination Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Definately THE BEST book over shaping and maintaining eyebrows. It has great tips helping you with determining the best eyebrow for your face shape.
There's also a website from the authors of this book with a few tips, but ofcourse the book is more elaborate.
