I bought this on a whim a couple o years ago from duty free, having quite liked the tester.

Unfortunately, once I got it home, I just couldn't get on with it. I find it sickly and nauseating.

I've been trying to experiment with new scents instead of your young, typical sugary sweet or fruity perfumes girls my age wear... I got this as a gift from my friend and was so excited to try it out. Mind you, I'm no perfume connoisseur and I'm beyond terrible at describing scents... But this smells like straight shaving cream to me! It's too clean, powdery but I can detect some floral. My friend says it smells nice on me. Said friend. But I feel like I just rubbed in shaving cream on my wrists. Giving this to my mom. Btw, I have no earthly idea on how much this costs.

Comme tu me manques...comme tu me manques....J'ai essaye ce parfum il y a des années et je l'ai trouve trop mature pour moi... mais aujourd'hui il me semble qu'il me manque... C'est un parfum délicat, trop délicat peut être pour ceux qui ne veulent qu'épater, mais je n'ai encore trop un autre parfum aussi blonde, aussi présente dans son invisibilité. L'invisible qui fait toute la différence - c'est unique.

Okay, I have to admit fragrances hardly ever give me a headache, I wear 273 from Fred Hayman and almost anyone that tries to wear it gets a headache and I never do but Very Valentino did it for me. It smells so generic, you could get a big bottle of something almost identical at Victoria's Secret. I really has that VS Angels smell to it almost powdery and soapy, it didn't feel like a Valentino fragrance at all. I had to get rid of it.

Smells good, but let me tell you... headache city. I had to wash this off within 20 mins of putting it on. Good staying power though. After 3 scrub downs I could still smell it for about 8 hours.

I'm in love with this fragrance. On me it's a rose scent with some other supporting florals .. but the rose is very true and clear. It's the least synthetic rose scent i've come across and reminds me of a garden filled with red roses on a sunny day. Very feminine and a bit decadent.

Update:
Like but no longer love. I'm a bit tired of it and it hasn't won my heart in the end. Knocked it down to a 3 overall

I check Buy Again because it's bottle worthy, but I don't know... I have so many perfumes already!

To my nose, this is a soft, floral oriental. I detect Magnolia, Lily of the Valley, Rose, Vanilla, Sandalwood. The opening is a little sharp (so many fragrances are!) but the dry down is soft, feminine. The rose is underneath the Magnolia, and it gives just a hint of rosiness. If there were any more rose, I'd probably dislike it. But I adore magnolia, so this works for me. I don't get much of the LOTV, but that is more than okay, most LOTV's are too cloying for me anyway.

This has been one of my top favorites for years. Its a soft oriental. very soft, perfect for daytime. its not overpowering.

This is probably one of my favourite perfumes. It has a lovely clean modern smell but is still feminine. I think the art deco bottle is very suiting to the character of the perfume.

It definitely has some staying power too

This is for the Eau de Toilette. Have to admit that I expected a warmer, deeper fragrance than this one. It's just floral and fruity and light; I cannot detect any vanilla or sandalwood. For those ones who like floral-fruity fragrances, it's the right choice, but not for me.

This a very lovely scent! As reviewer below mentioned, it smells very very ROMANTIC! They say it is floriental family fragrance, but I find it being sweet floral. And I usually hate florals, but not this very pretty one!!!

It smells just great. I adore this. On me it smells mandarine at first then vanila and santal. I am going to buy another bottle, because I just can`t get enough of this. It is divine. I feel like a godess when I`m wearing V Valentino.

I first smelled this as a sample in a magazine in 1998. I was away at a wedding at the time, and rubbed the small amount of EDT on my wrists before the party as I had not brought any perfume. I was an instant convert, on my skin I smelled hints of parma violets in the initial first few hours which was quite feminine and sexy, but the dry down sold it to me, as it's slightly reminiscent of warm clean linen. So I like the contrast, it starts off sexy and ends up demure, restrained and pure.

The olfactory equivalent of going out on a date with someone you have a lot of chemistry with and then kissing them goodnight at your frontdoor, leaving them wanting more, and you going to sleep in beautiful crisp white sheets.

Hell, I think I'm trying to say it's romantic!

This was my signature scent for a while but I only give it 4 stars now because I feel I have outgrown it or something - wore it a lot from 24-29, but now I'm in my 30's I'm looking for something a little more complex.

All in all an excellent, subtle yet alluring fragrance - and not worn by too many women either, so it's a little bit more personal to you.

Love this fragrance !! I am a sucker for great smelling orientals and this one is just lovely, but not your typical oriental. It smells great. My hubby loves it also. Great staying power too. Highly recommend. One of my fav's.

A generic light, pretty scent that is typical of department store florals such as Vera Wang. It’s sweet and frothy like a Valentino chiffon ball gown. It lacks depth and the vanilla is the barest whisper on me. Not my cup of tea.

This was a present from my sister. I havent been that thrilled (has a vanilla scent to it) however loads of people have asked me "what is the fragrance I'm wearing"! Apparently it leaves off a wonderful/noticeable scent!And it does stay with you for hours! I tend to change my perfumes so I doubt I would ever repurchase.

I love this scent. I don`t wear it very often because for some reason, something awful always seems to happen when i wear it !

It lasts well and has coconut undertones on me. I love sweet smelling fragrances and this one is beautiful !

I'm not normally a fan of perfumes that have powdery undertones, but something draws me to this scent. To me it's a soft, clean floral with hint of fruit and a warm, yummy finish. It's soft enough not to cause a headache or become too sickly. Infact, it's so gentle that this morning I forgot I was wearing it, and spent an entire lecture wondering who smelt so nice... then realized it was me! It seems to agree with my chemistry and one I would love to buy again.

i've read the reviews and am convinced that i'm probably the only lucky gal in the crowd. i love this fragrance and have experienced absolutely no problem with either the scent or staying power whatsoever. it's so subtle and elegant that i wear it everyday. my husband loves it and i get compliments all the time. even my facialist constantly asks me what i'm "wearing". must be my skin chemistry.
