I am so totally impressed with this palette. As everyone else has said, it's fantastic. The pigmentation is incredible as is the color selection and brush. I get the perfect tightline with the black cakeliner and brush and the shade Black Topaz has got to be one of the loveliest colors I have ever used, and I've used a lot in my time!! I use every single shade which is more than can be said for other palettes I've bought in the past, ie Stonewashed Nudes!! If you can still find this at the LM counter, snap it up-you will be so pleased you did.

A wonderful product and an amazing value. This palette has been described very well by previous reviewers, but I will repeat that it has 4 eye shadows, 1 eye liner, and a double-ended brush, all for $40. Two of the eye shadows are exclusive colors, and they are really beautiful. I have been using this throughout the holidays and keep getting compliments on it. The quality of the packaging is very high. I dropped this shortly after purchase, and it was undamaged. Laura Mercier has improved the look and quality of her packaging overall. I got this mainly because of the beautiful colors, but I am most pleased that it is a total eye kit in a small package that will be perfect for travel.

This is a great product - SO superior to the BB stonewashed nudes eyeshadow palette. And, it is $15 less, at $40. The colors are lovely, very heavily pigmented, and the brushes are really good. If all that isn't enough. even the actual box is better: more solidly made, easier to open: the BB mirror came off on mine. These colors are wonderful. I am becoming a convert to LM.

I agree with the previous reviewer that this is a great palette! The colors are very flattering to my blue eyes and cool-toned skin. The shades included are black ebony cake liner, a shimmering bronze-gold with a hint of plum (reminds me of Moth Brown if MB had gold in it), shimmering deep purple, medium warm matte pink, and shimmering silvery lavender (very similar to Stila's Heather, IMO). The shades are great but I absolutely love the brush--the flat end is perfect for lining, and the fluffier end is soooo soft and applies color very smoothly.

This is a 2007 Holiday Palette that retails for $40- and I feel it's worth every penny! Included in this palette are 4 eyeshadows (2 matte, 2 shimmer, one matte and one shimmer are exclusive colors to this palette), Laura's classic, Black Ebony eyeliner, and a dual-ended eyeshadow brush and flat eyeliner brush, w/ mirror. The palette opens and closes nicely... no digging the fingernails under and tugging till the cows come home. Easy open and snap closure. Classic!
The four shadow colors are as follows: Black Topaz (exclusive, dirty- taupe-brown w/gold shimmer), Chambord (shimmer, deep eggplant), Cashmere (matte, med-pink-brown), and Heather (exclusive, matte, light-silvered-pink). All of these colors are beautiful and coordinate nicely together. I also feel that these colors intensify my hazel-eye color for some reason and make them look greener. The Black Gold and Chambord are my personal favorites! This is a great palette to have for the price! Laura's shadows and brushes sell for at least $20 each (the brushes are more), and even tho these are slightly smaller versions... they are still substantially sized. The Black Ebony eyeliner and the flat eyeliner brush are pretty high-rated products here on MUA, so you are not getting junk with this palette. This is a great buy for the holidays... so treat yourself, girls! I know I love it and have no regrets...♥
