I absolutely LOVEEEEEEE this product, it warms up my wax within 3-4 minutes, and I think it's amazing.

I wish it had temp control, because i have to toggle on/off constantly...but none the less I LOVEEE IT

Ive been waxing for myself for years. If you know what your doing and wax for yourself often, i highly suggest this. It takes a while for wax to a get good consistency (about 30 mins) as opposed to microwave waxes, but just turn it on and leave it, I dont find the wax ever gets too hot. The heat makes a huge difference in hair removal. Its compact too which is great.

It warms the wax super well, and it's really convenient. I don't like the fact that you have to use the collars though, because they're such a pain.

I really like this warmer its small and works good. If you leave it on for too long your wax will be too hot. I just use the wax that is heated toward the outer side of the can. It was cheap. I didn't want to buy the remover. I found out by coincidence that the Pond's cucumber makeup remover slides the wax right off.

One of my best purchases ever! This saves me time, money, and embarrassment. Waxing at a salon was always an uncomfortable and nerve wrecking experience no matter how much I psyche myself up fpr it. So happy to be able to wax myself. I use it with the all purpose honee wax and muslin strips. If you have unwanted hair, and and you are a do it yourself lady like me...Get this and wax at home. And save in time and money. This warmer at Sally is about 24 dollars. It's totally worth it!

this is my first wax warmer, aside from the microwave. lol
i was very impressed with this. got it at sallys with the card for $27 canadian. i use the "canadian knock off" of gigi's wax, called sharonelle. i have the 18oz can and it fit in the space saver.
the circumference of the can was smaller than the can of wax. but if ur using gigi's wax, i believe it holds up to 14oz but their can's are shaped different from sharonelle. the unit got hot pretty quick. i touched the outter metal and im surprised i didnt get a physical burn, it hurt for a full 10 seconds. the can of wax got completely hot in less than a hf hr and i was surprised considering the whole circumference factor.
i really like this warmer. it's compact and priced very well!

Quality wax warmer, I have superior results with this product than any microwave wax product. I spent $30 on this warmer and received two tins of wax and a package of muslin strips for free. By waxing my underarms myself twice, I have already saved more money than the cost of the warmer.

I got this on sale at Sally Beauty for $20. It is a little gem. Just thinking of all the money I save from waxing my legs, face, and bikini area makes me giddy! It effectively heats up honee wax. It is a small size and therefore easy to tuck away somewhere when not in use. It only has one setting (High). Heats honee wax up in about 20-30 minutes.

Gigi is the brand that most salons and spas use for their waxing services. I was tired of spending tons of money on waxing so I decided to buy the machine and all of the supplies that are in the salons. This machine is great it keeps the wax at the right temperature (heat up the wax for about 45 minutes). The best wax is the All Purpose Honey wax by Gigi which comes in a metal tub container that fits right into the warmer. If you use the Gigi Natural Muslin strips with the honey wax you will get the same results as the salon. I have already saved a couple hundred of dollars since I bought this three months ago. I wax my eyebrows, upper lip, underarms, bikini and arms. Best beauty investment.

Used to use the microwaveable honey wax until i decided to splurge $30 or was it less on this small warmer, perfect,( i used to run practically naked from the bath to the kitchen when it got cold and thick) I turn it on and put on a towel, I always wax b4 getting in the shower, and its heated- yes there is no temp control but really it does the job.
Wax melts a little hot but just turn it off and it'll be warm enough & runny enough for all the areas needing waxing( unless you're a super hairy person- which thank god i'm not!)
Wish it was sold with more of that paper ring thingy, but i guess next time i'm at the beauty supply store i'll by more.
Great buy for girls who wax. Word of adive Do buy the wax remover Wax off for Skin and the NEW Sure clean which really does clean up any spills (do not use on skin!)

if you buy any of the GiGi waxes in the metal tubs, you pretty much have to buy some kind of warmer. i think for home, personal use, this one is absolutely perfect. its probably not good for someone who will need it to be on all day because of the lack of temperature contol, but i seriously hope that if you're a pro, you might invest a little more in a warmer. its cheap (i bought it on ebay for cheap, but even at retail, its a steal), its compact (doesn't take up a lot of counter space), and it works. since it doesn't have a temperature control, if you're going to be waxing for a long time, the wax might get too hot. to remedy that, i just turn it on, once the wax is melted, turn it off, and if i'm still waxing and it starts to harden (which, btw, has never happened...the wax stays liquidy for a long time, and theres only so much hair on one person!), i'd just turn it back on again. its definitely worth it to buy this, and i'd recommend it to anyone.

I just gave myself my first bikini wax with this little warmer and some Gigi Dark Honee wax. IT WAS GREAT. This warmer is small and compact, and it's a lot cheaper than the big one. The difference between this one and that one is this one doesn't have a high-low setting, only on-off. I was a little worried about that at first but throughout my waxing it kept the wax the perfect temperature so now that I have it I'm glad I don't have to worry about fiddling with the thermostat. This small one also doesn't come with a lid which I didn't need anyway, since it's only for me and not to use in a salon and be on all day. All in all I am very happy with this, and I would buy again or recommend it to anyone!
EDIT Dec. 4 2009: I am still using and loving this warmer. What a great investment. Something I've noticed is that as the can of wax gets to have half or less wax remaining, the wax gets a little too hot so I have to turn the warmer off and wait till it cools a little to the right temp.
