I really liked this product at first. It has no silicones, smells decent and is super cheap. For about 3 days my hair looked great but felt a little dry. After that, i was frizzy straw. So not moisturizing. Will not repurchase.

This product practically fell from heaven for me. I've struggled for YEARS to make my hair lie down, be soft, not totally frizzy, etc. You really should see the walgreens hair isle that is my bathroom. Ever since I ditched cones and sulfates (went Curly Girl!) my hair's been THRIVING. But, I still seriously had issues with too much volume. It took a lot of research, but I finally found out that my hair is POROUS! That was my problem all along :P So just a warning: For those of you who have low porous hair, or can't tolerate protein: PUT THE BOTTLE DOWN AND WALK AWAY. Because that's probably why your hair is turning brittle or looks dull. Find out your hair's porosity before trying!! But if you do well with protein, or have medium-high porous hair, give it a try! It smells DIVINE, great in the bottle and great out of the bottle. Not too strong, not sticky, and my hair is lying down, bouncy and shiny. And I have biracial curls! Getting the picture? My new dream duo: Pantene curl enhancer spray gel and VO5 passion fruit smoothie conditioner as a leave in. My hair has NEVER looked better.

I must say this is the best conditioner I have used. I'm always purchasing high end conditioners, which in turn make my hair very dry and brittle. This is affordable and is a good moisturizing conditioner which makes my hair very, very soft. Love this conditioner.

I've been using this for CO washing, and it works great for that purpose. My hair is soft, shiny, and not weighed down at all. The smell is really nice too. It lingers in my hair without being overpowering. I've gone through a few bottles of this, and will continue to repurchase.

I find that my hair is drier and falling out more whenever I use this cheap brand, and every time I switch, it recovers itself again. I don't know what is in this shampoo, but something in it just ruins my hair and makes it feel so thin and weak...Thinking about using the rest of this up as a shave gel or something in the shower because I sure as heck don't want to keep putting it in my hair! Such a shame for something that is advertised as being "moisturizing" but it ends up doing the opposite, however I'm not completely surprised from its one dollar price tag...

I use this for CO-washing and it's one of my favorites. Out of the bottle the scent doesn't seem anything special but after I used it I kept getting whiffs of this lovely, light almost effervescent peachy scent, and realized it was my hair. I will repurchase this one for as long as it's available. It makes my hair feel clean and soft, and the smell is divine.

This has got to be one of the best conditioners I have ever used. It makes my hair soft and smooth and shiny. But it rinses clean and doesn't weigh my hair down. I picked this up for 99 cents, so I feel okay using a ton of it at a time. No matter how much I glop on, it always rinses clean. I occasionally do CO washing only with this and it works well for that. Other times I use this as an after shampoo conditioner. I plan on collecting quite a few of these V05 conditioners since the ingredients in most of them are about the same. It'll be nice to rotate different scents.

I've been using this product for about a year now. It's a cheap, basic, and effective lightweight conditioner that rinses out easily and leaves my hair soft, smooth and not weighed-down. The fragrance is very soft but pleasant. For severely dry hair, you'll probably want something deeper, but this is great for basic conditioning needs.

It's okay, not the greatest, I got this and the extra body conditioner today and I think I like the other one better. I will keep this though, I like the smell. =)

I was disappointed with this product. I'm surprised by all the great reviews on here, I guess it just doesn't work with my hair! I normally get a lot of compliments on how shiny and healthy looking my hair is but this product left my hair really dull looking and it seemed more tangled and harder to brush than normal! It smells great and the price is right but it seemed to suck the shine out of my hair! I won't be re-buying this one unfortunately.

I use this primarily as a leave in conditioner instead of as it's intended use of rinse out conditioner. It leaves my hair soft and moisturized. It is winter here and even in the cold weather my hair remains soft and moisturized. I like this product alot. I like the smell and the thick creamy texture. It does come out of the bottle quickly but I disagree with other reviewers that it is watery and thin. 5 stars from me. I am happy with this product and will continue to use it.

I was pleasantly surprised by this conditioner! I didn't expect too much from it, because I picked it up at the dollar store. I figured it would just end up sitting in my shower forever, unused.
Turns out, it's a really great product! It's hard to find a conditioner that I really like. I need some moisture, because I dye, blowdry, and straight iron my hair. On the other hand, if I use anything too heavy it will weigh down my fine hair. This stuff adds moisture to my hair without weighing it down. Perfect!
It also smells really nice. The only drawback is that it comes out of the bottle really fast. You have to be carefull not to pour too much out. Fortunately, it's so cheap that if some gets wasted, it's not a big deal.

For a cheap conditioner (a $1), it is AWESOME!

It smells terrific and honestly does great at moisturizing and detangling as any other. It is runny and watery and easy to waste accidentally, but it is cheap so it is not a big deal. I use it to conditioner wash my hair and I cannot complain. I once used some other conditioner that was recommended that completeeeely tangled my hair and made it rough and had to end up running for the VO5 to undo it and be able to detangle and comb it. Wow!

It is really a great find, a great steal and great product for so cheap. I will continue to use this and it is great to also bring on vacation if you don't want to accidentally leave your expensive stuff or if you forget your usual conditioner, you can easily get this at a drugstore/supermarket and be fine without spending too much.

This is a great conditioner. It really moisturizes my hair, and immediately after applying it my hair feels silky. I leave it in for a minute or two, and rinse, and after rinsing my hair still feels really soft. Something that conditioners I've used in the past haven't done. It provides a great base for applying other products. The smell is nice, sweet and zesty, and everyone already knows that the price is awesome! While it's nice to use more salon-like products when you can afford to, it's not necessary to achieve gorgeous hair.

As others have noted, this conditioner is a GREAT buy for the money, but is too thin and runny. Surprisingly enough, despite the watery texture, it really does condition well. I'll probably buy again, but I do wish VO5 would do something about the texture...

I ran out of conditioner a week ago and didn't have much money. I stumbled across this in Walgreens for only 79 cents and decided it was worth a try! It was definitely worth the buy. It smells just delicious and it works just as well as the L'oreal Vive Pro conditioner I was previously using. It doesn't weigh my hair down or give me any problems with static, and it makes the ends of my hair silky and soft - despite my regular use of heat styling devices. I will definitely repurchase this one.

The only thing I didn't care for with this conditioner was how runny it is. I wouldn't consider that to have any impact on how well it works, you just have to be careful when squeezing the bottle!

I used to use this condish with the matching shampoo and couldn't figure out why my hair was in such bad shape. A couple of years later now and I've ditched sulfates while trying to grow my hair. I use this with Organix Coconut Milk Shampoo. I do a Condition-Wash-Condition with this and it has left my hair nice and shiny, smelling good, and not weighed down. My hair has less static now, too.

Pros: Rinses out well, makes hair soft, works nicely into hair, doesn't have the overpowering smell that's in the bottle.
Cons: Doesn't smooth hair & is runny.

I have thick, curly, frizzy hair & I was VERY surprised by its performance. While this isn't my go-to shampoo & condtioner, I put I would repurchase because I might pick this up if I wanted to try something different.

[edit]
After thinking about it, I changed the rating to four & said I would not repurchase.

This barely has any scent compared to the matching shampoo. Also, it doesn't moisturize my hair all that well, despite what it says on the front of the bottle. No re-buy for me.

The only thing worse than this conditioner is the paired shampoo. Awful! (There's a reason it's only $1)
