I like to use lavender scented products at night because I have terrible insomnia and it really helps with my anxiety. This has a wonderful lavender scent making it useful for aromatherapy, but is also a terrific moisturizer. The consistency is thick and luxurious- I only need to apply it once at night. I also use it on my cracked heels and it works great! Good value too!

It sure seems like a lot of the J.R. Watkins products have the lavender smell added to them, and I personally do not care much for it, but this is a really great cream for dry cracked hands. My hands get really dry & cracked during the winter months and this stuff is the best. I use it for a couple of days and poof, no more cracks! It has cocoa butter as well as the shea, but it also has macadamia, apricot, jojoba, & avocado oil added to it. It has all the really great oils & probably why this one works so well. Even though the lavender smell is over the top for my like, I will continue to use this wonderful cream for all of it's fast results. I can tolerate any smell, almost ;-), as long as the results are so noticeable of an improvement. If you can find this one, grab it just in case you need something stronger. I find Watkins products at Walmart, although they have a limited amount of the good ones, and I also find it sometimes at Ross's. Ross's prices are way better than Walmart too.

I've taken a liking to the scent of lavender. Before I would cringe and think it smelt really funky and gross, but now I cannot get enough of it. I buy lavender soaps all the time and was hoping to expand my lavender collection to perfumes and lotions/creams. This lavender scented body cream is SO heavenly. I cannot get enough of this smell (even though my co-workers think it stinks). The cream itself is a heavy looking cream, but after you rub it in, it doesn't feel heavy at all. I was truly hoping that this cream would be heavy and adequately moisturize my overly dry hands, however it doesn't seem to get the job done right. This might be good for my hands during summer time, but it definitely isn't for winter time. I tend to reapply 10 minutes after initial application. I like that this cream is very natural and is paraben, dye and phthalate free, but what good is it when it can't keep my hands properly moisturized during winter time? I'll repurchase when summer rolls around, but until then, I'm on a look out for a new heavy natural hand cream.

Yes, it smelt great. I loooovvvvvveeeeee lavender soooo much and this does it so well!

However, it wasn't moisturizing AT ALL for my dry, chapped skin! And that was the point of me buying it.

Just got one yesterday because it's on sale in London Drug....man it's only $5.99 :) I love it! Its lavender smell is very natural and soothing, and I love the way it keeps my hands feeling cool and soft even after I wash them! Definitely a good choice :)

Love this more than the Lemon creme by Wakins. Love the scent and the Shea Butter. Makes my winter hands feel soft. I don't feel the least bit guilty re-using as needed after washing my hands multiple times a day, because it is so inexpensve!

I am addicted to the salve and hand lotion in Lavender at night. Takes me to dreamland. I save the cream for daytime.

Lavender is a scent has grown on me quite an insane amount since my scent palette has broadened a bit with age I believe. I used to not be able to stand the smell of it and now I can't get enough of it. So much so that I actually decided against the purchase of the absolute yummy Lemon Cream Shea Butter and opted instead for the lavender.

I bought this mainly to use as a hand & foot cream, although I wouldn't be opposed to slathering it all over my body. It smells that dang good and it is so moisturizing. In fact my feet are still feeling super soft from my application of it on them over 12 hrs ago. I love that shea butter is actually the second ingredient in this cream (water is first) and there aren't any synthetic oils involved in this. The cream is rich and thick and strongly scented (but is divine). It takes a while to rub in like most shea butters I have found tend to take a while.

I adore this cream and will continue to repurchase this and its Lemon Cream twin. Also love that Watkins does not test on animals!
