The colors looked so amazing. I was hoping this would be a good product, but it isn't. The glitter doesn't stick very well. It just clumps up. It's not meant to be eyeshadow, but you can apply it over your eyeshadow. Either way, it's still not a good product. It's the kind of makeup that a teenybopper would wear or something you'd find in a Barbie makeup kit. If you want good quality glitter, go to MAC.

after reading negative reviews on here i was pleasantly suprised by this palette.when i saw it i really wanted one cos its so pretty but thought it might not be that good.however the first day i used it i applied the white glitter over a creme shadow at 6.50am.i followed advice on here and dabbed it on,it looked great.when i went to remove it at 12.00am it still looked fine,so it lasted a long time.however doesnt look as good as powder glitter eyeshadow .

I just purchased the HUGE glitter palette with 30 shades, and I am in love! You have to use a primer with this, but this product is really the deal. IN. LOVE. I'm jealous of myself!

An interesting product. Not very easy to handle, and I would suggest you use it in small amounts or it will get everywhere!

i bought 3 of these at once & they're terrible. which sucks because the colors are so beautiful. i tried using this under the eyes on top of liner, but the glitter fell onto my cheeks & people kept commenting on sparkly face. i also tried it on top of shadows for a heavy full blown glitter look, but it doesn't apply smoothly or evenly-so some parts had bits of glitter, others the shadow was getting ruined from trying to even it out. since i think these are fairly useless & decided to toss them, i'm going to gut one first & see if i can mix it with a little vaseline & turn it into something else.

I dont think Ive been more disappointed with a product in my life :(

I was so excited to try this because Ive been playing with a lot of glitter lately and this offered so man gorgeous colors for a good price. WRONG.
Like the previous reviewer, I noticed that the dry, flakey glitter just sat on top of some Vaseline-like substance. Still, i decided to try this.
It was impossible to use properly and the glitters got everywhere. I thought maybe my palette had just dried up in the store but it was the same with the others I got.
I had high hopes for this product since I find that NYX is often good quality for the price but this was a complete disaster.
So sad Im going to have to go back to UrbanDecay or MUFE :(

I found a few of these palettes in a discount store. They are so gorgeous, I purchased two - Surreal and Ocean Breeze. I opened the Surreal palette. Testing it out at home, I see my buy was a mistake. I agree with the other reviewer who said these are hard to work with, although I will say that I've had no fall out whatsoever with it. I applied it using a synthetic brush, just dabbed it on... at first. They apply VERY patchy, it's difficult to spread the glitter out. They definitely require a colour-corresponding eyeshadow underneath. This is the first eye make-up that has creased on me, it's probably best to just apply on your lower lids, or use as a liner. It also hurt my eye lids, the glitter is scratchy.
The colour applies like what you see in the pan. I do LOVE the middle green shade, it's a stunning colour. Even though they're patchy, I can't stop looking at my eyelids...

EDIT: after an hour or so, the glitter is clumping together. I picked off a BALL of glitter. Removing it is the worst part. Being glitter, it just spreads around your eye area when using remover and cotton wool, with soap and watrer it gets inside your eyes - painful. Even though they were only £3.99 I'm going to return the unopened palette.

This is a good choice if you are new to glitter eye products. The brushes provided don't work so well so I find it much easier to use my finger. It wasn't as messy as I thought it would be and it stayed on for a long time. It's also really good value for money!

If you are interested in trying a glitter eye makeup look, I definitely think this is a good place to start. I would reccommend using a stiff brush, or your finger better yet, to apply. It's best to use a matching shadow underneath and/or on top that matches tha color of glitter you're using. That brings me to my biggest complaint about this pallete & many other glitters in general... I hate how tha reflects of glitter are a different color from tha "cream" in this pallette. For example, tha white cream has gold glitters, when I think it would be a lot better to have white or silver glitter. So just be aware of that. I don't remember tha exact price of this product but I know it was pretty reasonable. Pacakaging is basic & I can appreciate tha flip top style. I love to also use tha gold along my color bone when I'm going out some place extra fun. I will purchase again and try tha other colors. I also like that NYX does not animal test.

This palette was found by my cousin in a Harmons, and she doesn't seem to wear makeup or go into detail like I do, but I thought I'd give it a try with her.

This is a good price for the palette. I do not find that the colors are dry at the surface, but I guess I expected differently on this product. I thought it was cream with some glitter in it. But, this seems to be vise versa but the better way.

I have been thinking about getting this for a six year old I know for her birthday. She would probably like how it is glitter and doesn't really make you feel mature.

Great product

Ok when I first bought this product, yes the top layer was a little dry. It seemed it was just loose glitter. BUT when u kinda dig a little, u will see it is in fact creamy. I recommend putting a base of eye shadow on in whatever color matches the glitter the most and then kinda patting the glitter on top of it with the sponge applicator it comes with for that extra pop. A little difficult to work with, but It will def look great on. I would get used to using the one palette I currently have before I buy a second one.***Ok i gave this away. It is very hard to work with. Would not buy this again!

First of all this isn't a glitter "eyeshadow". I think a lot of people who are giving this a bad review have had some sort misconception about this product... It's a glitter cream pallet so it isn't really suppose to have some super bright color payoff. And it is creamy enough to stick to whatever part of your face you put it on without the glitter becoming lackluster. I have this in Surreal and Eden. So far I've done a few looks with both. I've used the bright neon pink in Eden in my crease/outer corner with some really dramatic smokey shadow. And my friend who is a MUA did a club look on me with half of the surreal pallet, like he put glitter all over my face and lips. The glitter stayed on pretty well threw the night, but I had to touch up my lips a few times. Oh and under a black light some of the colors look really awesome. I usually don't use the sponge applicators that come with makeup kits, but I did this time. I guess they work. Really good product overall.

I don't understand all of the bad reviews on this product! It's glitter. I don't think it is supposed to show up as an eyeshadow, and I do not think the pallet is dried out. I believe the consistency of the product was made to ensure that the glitter sticks to your skin. At first I was leary of this product because of all the bummer reviews, so I thought I would just buy one to test it out (there are 6 different pallets). Turns out, I love it! For some fun glitter sparkle, I just get a dense crease brush (I use MAC's 219) and rub it in the glitter. It doesn't take much effort to get a lot on the brush. Then I put it in my crease for a subtle, but still sparkly look. It stays in place and looks awesome. I haven't tried it near my lashline like other reviewers (maybe that's why they had problems?) but I LOVE it in my crease, looks awesome! I will try and add some pics soon.

Just purchased this product from an Ulta near my work for about $7.00. I got the "Paradise" version of this [pink, white, black, gold, and silver] and it looked very promising in the package. However, when I brought it home and started playing with it, it felt dry and flaky, and didn't seem "creamy" at all. For this reason, I think this product would probably work better if you used some sort of thick, bonding medium, or if you mixed it with a gel liner.

The glitter is really quite pretty and flashy, and I think it'd look adorable as a colorful liner, but it's just hard to work with in my opinion. Expect to spend a fair amount of time playing around with it, but for the price, I can't say it was a bad choice. However, I don't think I'd buy this again...I'd rather opt for the glitter Urban Decay liners, they seem to work much better.

Purchased this product in Eden which has pink, yellow, dark blue, orange and a redish colour. I think its fun and since it was quite cheap it was worth the money, have to apply quite a bit for the desired effect although thats fine. I would buy again, and am interested in picking up the other colours that NYX has to offer. Nice packaging also, although the brushes arent that great which come with it.

I got this at my local perfume outlet. It wasn't cream, it was dried, so i'm assuming I got a 'bad' one haha, but It wasn't a big deal because it went on easily with using a little bit of visine on my brush. I normally put them over eyeliner and it works great but sadly my eyes would have a FIT after about an hour or two. I love glittery thing so I wish I could say that I would repurchase but it's not worth having my makeup running down my face from my eyes watering.

I picked up two versions of this (Eden & Utopia) at Rite Aid. They were $1.75 each on clearance. For a reason. This provides no color at all, except for a trace of glitter when you smear it on. You've really got to slather on a ton of it to get any real effect. Waste of money.

NYX Glitter Cream Pallets seem to be a dupe of a SUGAR cosmetics item. It's a sleek palette of 5 glitter creams, it comes with 2 duo-end applicators (1 duo sponge tip & 1 sponge tip/brush). Roughly about 5"x2" with 10G of product. These are multi purpose glitter creams and hypoallergenic.

I bought this because SUGAR palettes are about $20 and these retail for $4.99 but they''re pretty much the same. I don't use glitter everyday so the cheaper the better. The staying power for these creams are pretty nice and isn't prone to much fall out (a bit as with any glitter product). I suggest using your own synthetic brush for application. I don't find much use of the applicators supplied but it's handy if necessary. I like the fact I can try new glitter colours for the eyes instead of buying multiple liners so it's a very nice plus these are hypoallergic. A mixing medium or sealer isn't necessary since there's already a cream bond... however the cream + glitter consistency is a bit hard to work with so I suggest some sort of sealer if this is going to be used as a liner just for eye-safety precautions.

SURREAL is No. 4 of these glitter palettes with a lavender, gold, teal, white, and pink. The gold and teal are straight one shade. The lavender, white, pink glitters have multi colours in it so it flashes blues, pinks, purples, silvers. Think fairies. All very pretty and a great addition to anyone into glitter and glamour! A good thing to own for anyone into costumes, face masks.
