I haven't owned a glittery liquid eyeliner in years. For the last few months, I have been wanting a glitter liquid eyeliner. One day when I was shopping at my local Giant Eagle supermarket, I cut through the cosmetics section and came upon the NYX display and the Candy Glitter Liners caught my eye. I was just totally interested in them. But since my money was super tight at that precise moment, even though it was only 3.99, I didn't buy any just yet.
When I finally decided to get the liner, I picked up four shades; Blue,Passion,French Champagne, and Disco Ball. I was so excited about the stuff that as soon as I got through the checkout line, I hurried to the restroom to apply one of the shades. The first one I tried was Blue. I loved it so much that the next day I bought two shades. Since then, I've been collecting all of the shades and by the time you're reading this, I've probably bought all of them.
I've been wearing the liner everyday since March 13th, 2012. Before applying, I'll apply my shadow, and thinly line the top and bottom lash lines with black pencil (sometimes brown, navy or another dark color for some shades). For sure, I apply a line of the product to the top lid. Some shades, I'll wear on both top and bottom. Sometimes, I'll wear one shade on top and another on the bottom (i.e gold on top, silver on the bottom). And after it dries, I'll apply mascara.
I just really love how this product looks. In the sunlight, out at night and the lights shining on it, ETC. It just reallly looks amazing.
These shades really aren't all the same. Some solid colored, some are more multi colored, some look more metallic, Some more sheerish.
As for this shade (Disco Queen), this is the shade that I've worn the most often so far. It's a black with multi colored sparkle. I like to wear it on both the top and bottom. This shade can more or less be worn with anything.

This is a fun one -- multicolored holographic glitter in a sheer black base. I wish the base were more pigmented, but I handle that by applying over black liquid liner. It's a nice product to give a teeny glimmer of sparkle to an otherwise ordinary evening look, but of course you can amp it up too. It gets a teeny bit gloppy on the brush, but nothing terrible. I do love the tasseled container!
Not for the sensitive, I suspect.

I have pretty sensitive eyes, so I always need to be careful what I put near them. My eyes tend to tear up and turn red easily. I really hate to ruin this streak of great reviews but...
When I put this on, it was irritating especially for my lower lashline. But even on my upper lashline, it was very irritating. I felt a stinging sensation whenever I put this close to my eyes, which is such as shame since I wanted to like the product. I'd hate to imagine how a contact lens wearer might react. If you have sensitive eyes, stay away!
I think the actual product is great. It's has multicolored glitters in a sheer black base, and it catches light very nicely. The application is very even so you won't have a weird distribution of glitters. This would be great used for a night-out.

Honestly, I’m not a big fan of glittery products, but I could not resist this particular product due to its fun color. It’s a mixture of boldness and seductiveness. The eyeliner itself does not have strong black color, so you can wear it on top of your usual eyeliner to add charming sparkles to your eyes. As you can see in the pic (the one I added), due to most of the glitters are sort of dark tones, it’s quite wearable for everyone. I also love the tassel on the handle. That's so pretty.

Very pretty. I like wearing this over black eyeliner to give a gorgeous dark sparkle. Staying power is really great and I have no problems with fall out or flaking as with some other glitter liners, in fact I even sometimes have a tough time getting the last few sparkles out from between my eyelashes.
I love how the glitter is buildable so you ca get a fairly solid line or just a touch of sparkle.
Takes a couple of minutes to dry though so need to be cautious about it transfering to the upper eyelid in this time or you will get a strange double glitter line. No problem once its dry though.
I have three colours of glitter liners and am on the look out for more. Love them.

The payoff isn't as nice as the Silver liner from NYX. However, the color is totally worth a few more dabs/swipes! I just love the black glitter with holographic glitter.

I love this glitter liner. I layer it over Milani's Infinite Liquid Liner and it looks gorgeous, stays in place all day. If you pair it with a really neutral shadow it's great for everyday, not too dramatic or glittery or over the top or anything.
I do wish the brush were a bit thinner, and on mine the brush is sort of crooked. The tassel is adorable but gets in the way when applying so I removed it.

I got this for free cuz the salesgirl at Ulta screwed up, ha. But I would pay big bucks for a product like this. No more spending $17 on Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Liner when NYX is less than $5. Staying power is fantastic, lasts all night. Takes a while, but once it's dry it does not budge. The glitter is dense and layers beautifully, catches the light and makes my eyes look all bright and shiny. I'm absolutely going to try other colors. This stuff is amazing and one of my top 5 favorite eye products ever.

Yay, NYX!
I bought this to do a "New Year's Eve" look per a tutorial inspired by a Sephora cover. Never heard of it before, and had only used Too Faced glitter liners. This blows them away. The glitter is more dense than the Too Faced liners I've tried. Disco Ball is multi-colored, with a lot of blue and silver. I layered it over navy blue liner and it looked gorgeous and stayed put. Plus, the price is right!
I can't wait to try more NYX glitter liners for a fraction of what I would've paid elsewhere...

This liner is a MUST have for us glitter nuts. I bought this the other day and already, its my fave. Its got stay power and its gorgeous over black liner. My only complaint is the drying time but im the kind of person that hates to wait too. So go buy this ASAP! Oh and mine was about 3 bucks. (I had an Ulta coupon I used.)

This is one my favorite glitter liners by NYX- I have three so far and all are fabulous. I like using glitter liners when I'm in a rush, or anytime really, because they add an instant pop to your look. Disco Queen has purple, blue and silver undrtones to it- it can really look great with any eyeshadow combination. This is seriously one of the most gorgeous glitter liners. The consistency isn't to thick, and the its very easy to make a precise straight line- it does take a wee bit to dry, but other then that I love it. I'm planning on purchasing many more of these babies :)

Honestly... Amazing. I was so close to passing this off and going with Jade in the store, but there was only one Jade left and someone had opened it so I put it back and saw this. It was like fate. I'm SO happy I picked this up. It's a dark colored liquid liner with a very gel-like consistency with very dense multicolored glitter. It's a little thin but it's manageable. When you apply it, the liner itself is clear but the sparkles are what give the color. The glitter is so dense that if you layered this on and on, it could probably pass as black liquid liner lol. This is BEAUTIFUL. I'm definitely going to get this one again and many more of the candy glitter liners.

Friggin gorgeous. Payoff is gasp-worthy, considering that it was only $3.99 and the sparkles are so vibrant and eye-catching.... Too Faced makes similar liners for about $17/ea, but NYX is fractions of that price and the quality is quite similar. So go grab a few of these, layer it over ur black liner or just add a few lines of this liner at the outer corner of ur eye for some creative sparkle during a weekend night out... SO in love.

Love this stuff. It's a clear liquid base packed with multi-colored glitter, so it's incredibly versatile and can be used in a variety of looks. I like to line my top lid with black cream liner and then layer a couple of coats of Disco Queen on top of that. The trick is to let it dry between applications, and the results are amazing. It really pops!
I wore it to work the other day (retail, not a "big girl" job) and got compliments from co-workers as well as customers. Everyone immediately assumed it was Urban Decay or MAC, and could not believe it was a drugstore brand like NYX.
My only complaint is the tassel on the top of the container -- what the heck is the point of that? It's annoying. I removed the tassels from all my bottles. Still, for the product, I consider it four dollars well spent.

I can't believe I got this product for only $3 (at cherryculture). This is more than comparable to UD or too faced liners, especially for its price and huge amount. This is a dark, green-blue based black eyeliner with colorful glitter particles blended in. You can wear this on top of black eyeliner or by your lower lashes and gives you the most demure wink of sparkles ever. This is pigmented enough that you can wear this on its own by three or four coats. I don't think I 'll run out of this forever (it's around 10 grams or something), but I am definitely re-purchasing if I ever do. My only gripe is taking out the applicator is a bit hard, you have to really pull the handle to get it popped out, and the brush isn't as stiff as I would like it to be. I can live with it though, and I'm planning to get other shades as well.

Unlike the original NYX glitter eyeliners, the new Candy eyeliners offer a multi colour glitter in one tube with a much easier to control brush. The older liners had a flat colour offering where each bottle had only one glitter shade.
Candy Glitter Liners have a lot glitter in them so it's not a watery product. I find the staying power better to MAC. The formula in these glitter liners are less prone to "flaking" which is a problem I've had with MAC glitter liners. Perhaps the glitter is finer, I'm not sure but you won't be left with a gritty texture that might get into your eyes.
These come in a tube similar to MAC liners but much bigger and have a cute tassle on the top. NYX Candy Glitter Eyeliners retail for $4.99 with 10G worth of product whereas MAC is 3x the price with 1/3 of the product. MAC glitter liners are quite small, never filled to the top of the bottle unlike NYX and only have 3G of glitter... Even with all these great things about NYX Candy Eyeliners.
NYX offers Candy Glitter Liners in 18 PERMANENT shades unlike MAC who only sell them for Limited Edition.
Disco Queen is a dupe of MAC Mercuric Glitter Eyeliner. It's a grey/black transparent based liner with multi-colour glitters in green, red, purple, blues. It's subtle enough for the day but easily layered for night time glam.
I recommend these to anyone that loves NYX and glitter eyeliners. I know MAC is releasing a bunch soon but instead of investing in a few MAC ones, I think I'm going to collect all the NYX liners instead.
