I recently rediscovered this in my makeup collection. I must say i love CLUB! It is very unique colour with triocrome, a mixture of brown, green & a bit of red. How amazing! Pat the shaow will show more of the green tone, if you blend it well, more of the brownish colour will show. that makes wearing e/s easy as u are only using one e/s but it gives the effect of multi-shadows!
i got the palette from duty free and it was around 30 quid. Im not entirely sure cuz its from ages ago haha LOVED the cute packaging. It's the main reason i got the palette lol

This palette stands out as most unique colors to me and I own alot of palettes it has a pinkish color that is perfect for a pink natural look. I have been searching for this type of es for a long time and it is hard to come by. Another one that stands out is club. A duochrome that is brown deep base with a green sheen to it. The other colors are good as highlighter and crease(dark). All in all perfect colors there is not one I don't like. palette looks cute i like the detailed designs.

This is one of the three palettes from Christmas 2007. This is probably my favorite of all the years Christmas offerings.
Showstopper, Star Violet, Nobility, Sunday Best, Retrospeck, and Club are the included shadows.
Showstopper is a dark brown, often included as a repromote and it's a good liner color. Not a fave of mine but it sure shows up a lot in palettes. Good wet.
Star Violet A beautiful warm orchid. I can't wear many violets due to the pigment but I can wear this one. It's gorgeous in the crease.
Retrospeck, another non LE shadow is a champagne color, It has glitter but is a good highlight color. it is a Luster, you know, you have love hate with these, and it's a bit like Honey Lust but strangely, not as warm.
Sunday Best: Another champagne but with a cooler, pinker tone and less glittery. Looks pale pink or peach in the palette, goes on light and smooth. A great highlight or light base color
Nobility is like Malt but pinker and warmer and a bit darker. It is more interesting than Malt and they should make it a standard shadow, but of course it is LE. I use it as a base on lid. Love it.
Club: Again another non-LE shade and quite useful. Goes on beautifully wet as a liner, can be sheered as a crease color. Less deadening than Showstopper as a crease if you tend to look tired if you crease with brown shadow.
I use this palette continuously in the winter as my work-safe eye shadow.
It is LE and out of production, but the good news is that you can duplicate the palette using Retrospeck, Malt, Club, Brun, Star Violet and Vapour. Brun and Vapour are not completely alike but similar enough.

ok so I bought this palette because of the packaging...lol... i know i'm a sucker...I got it and then it was just sitting there for a loooonnnngggg time... I used it maybe 2 times... until this year. I got back into makeup and decided to look at my old stash and was amazed I still kept this (I threw a lot away and now I want to kick myself). The colors are amazing and I love retrospeck and star violet...... and I loved the packaging... it has a 215se I believe and I love it.. It does the trick with these eye shadows....

I read an article written this year that claimed MAC hit their peak for both quality of product and packaging with the Royal Assets holiday collection. So, when I swapped for this palette, I was a little disappointed when I first looked at the colors. I had swapped a Laura Mercier palette that had 5 colors that were very similar to 5 colors in this palette and was wondering what I was thinking. It turns out it was a great swap -- the colors in this (Sunday Best, Retrospeck, Club, Nobility, Star Violet, Showstopper) have a touch more warmth, more pink to them, which works better for me than the more yellow, neutral LM colors. The satin finish is lovely for daytime looks, but having Star Violet and Club give this palette more edge for nighttime looks, not to mention Showstopper, which is one of the deepest, easiest charcoal browns I've ever used for lining or smoky looks. The only color I don't reach for is Retrospeck -- I don't care for the texture and fallout, so I use Blonde's Gold in it's place if I do want to amp it up for evening. Other than that, this combination of colors is so versatile, pigmented, and mistake-proof that I actually hunted down a back-up!

I like all the colors in this palette. I wouldn't say I'm crazy over this palette, but all the others are wearable.

Possibly the best palette ever made! Definitely the best MAC palette I've ever bought. I had to cough up $50 to get it on Ebay but still it's less than $10 per shadow. I would totally buy it again. All the colors are flattering, and you can do SO many looks with this one. Usually there's at least one unusable color in a palette but not this one, at least for me. I love it!

This is my favorite palette. The shadows are Showstopper, Star Violet, Nobility, Sunday Best, Retrospeck, and Club. Showstopper, which was also available in the Smoking Eyes quad, has become my favorite for smoking out any look. I wanted to try Star Violet and Club, both regular shades, and this was a nice money-saving way to get them. I can create so many different looks with these 6 shadows. I like the packaging because it's very sturdy and secure. The brush is nice, but I usually use my 217, 239, or 242. The best part about this palette is that I picked it up from my CCO for only $25 -- but it would definitely be worth the $36.

I really love this palette. I think it may be my favorite of all of the royal assets palettes I own (all but cool eyes). Sunday Best if my favorite color and I wish I had a pot of just that color in addition to this palette as I can tell that color will be gone first for me. I never really liked palettes before. I would sometimes buy one because of the hype (BB palettes mostly) but then swap away because I wasn't into them. I wont swap this one though!

This palette, along with the cool and smokey Royal Assets 2007 was my first purchase from MAC. I don't know why I waited so long, these are absolutely lovely! The warm eyes palette fell right into my comfort zone with enough pop! to beef up my standard neutral look for the office.
The downside to any palette is that there are going to be shades you never use and it's a limited edition; some of the shadows I really like won't be available unless MAC introduces them again. The only shades I don't see myself using is Retrospeck, just not into the gold sparkly shadow and I still haven't figured out how to use Club, the greenish brown hue but all the others rock!
The brush isn't the best either, I rarely use it but it's better than nothing and I really do like to take out my palette and check myself in the mirror while I touch up my lipstick it makes me feel so glam! :)

I must say, when the descriptions and teaser pics first came out I didn't want anything to do with this palette. Once it came out and I saw some looks people were doing with it my lemming was created. I ran out and got it and haven't put it down since. I didn't think any palette could dim my love for the Metallic Eyes, but this one definately takes the number 1 spot in my makeup case. You can do SO many different looks with it! Star Violet is my new favorite e/s. Everyone can pull off this palette, its completely idiot proof. Get out and get yours asap before they are all sold out. The shadows are perfect, the casing is beautiful, and you're getting 6 e/s (and you will use all of them!) and a brush for $36! Can't beat it!

I finally tried this palette out today, and i gotta say, while i'm not generally a fan of palettes, this one is the perfect combination of 6 gorgeous shades. First off, the shades are not overly warm, although I would still consider most of them in the warm family and a few perhaps more neutral. I can see a few colour combos, and all of them very wearable and pretty looks. The highlight shades are shimmery, but i think this palette is still completely wearable in the daytime. The addition of star violet gives this palette a nice kick to it, because the rest are definitely on the earthier side. I am very glad a i decided to buy this palette, based on one beautiful mua'ers pics using this and i am even thinking of a back up! I'm just not too crazy about the case, but who cares!

I love this pallete, and find myself using it alot for my eye makeup everyday. The colors are so versatile and you can blend them with any look for an added flare. I would recommend this only if you don't already have similar colors or else you might not find much use for it!

I was disappointed with this palette. I wish I gotten the cool set instead of this one. I have a lot of similar colors that are in this set. I already have club which I don't really like, so now I have two. LOL. The only color that I really like from this palette is Star violet, it's a really pretty color. I love the way it looks on my eyes. Although I was disappointed with the colors, I really love the packaging....it's so gorgeous!

This is my absolute favourite MAC palette so far - I love every shade, and they all work so well together. First of all, I love Star Violet and Club - I have these in my 15-pan palettes too and they get a lot of use. Club looks greenish in the pan but actually goes on as quite a natural brownish colour. Star Violet is shimmery pinky violet - unusual, but not too OTT - I wear this to the office all the time and always get compliments. Retrospeck is more like a frost than a lustre (i hate lustres usually!) - and is the perfect shimmery gold for my skintone (NC35). I can see myself wearing this by itself with bright coral lips over summer.
Now for the LE shades - Sunday Best is a lovely peach-toned shade perfect for highlighting - not too shimmery for a frost either. Nobility is a pale brownish pink, and works perfectly as a base for Star Violet, or in the crease for a softer eye. I wish it were a permanent shade! Showstopper is a rich brown shade - perfect for lining, or creating a smokey eye.
Overall, I think the colours in this palette work really well together (unlike this year's smokey eye palette). You can do anything from a neutral, natural daytime eye, to a neutral smokey eye, to a lovely shimmery pinky/purple/gold eye. There are just so many combinations! This is definitely the must have holiday item for any warm-toned girls out there.

Just beautiful! Even better than expected. Like neutrals with a twist.;) Not your usual boring neutral, some very pretty & unique colors in it. Just got it today & had to test it out. I'm in love with it, the best eye kit where I like ALL of the colors. Unusual for me. Oh & the case is absolutely lovely. One great kit & the price in IMO is very good.

I can not believe I dragged my feet on buying this. I had discarded wearing warm colors forever and decided to ignore this palette. But after reading the reviews on MUA, I figured I'd give it a try.
Today is my first time wearing it, and it looks so beautiful and flattering on me. My favorite color is the dark brown shade that I've been using as an eyeliner. MAC's brown shades and I haven't really gotten along in the past, but this one is pitch perfect, with none of the reddish tint that I've had before. I can't wait to put it in my crease tomorrow.
I'm in heaven with this palette!

I love this palette. In fact, it's probably the best palette I've ever owned! I'm not going to describe the shades because others have already done so, but I will say that they are all so beautiful and work incredibly well together. This is great for travel or taking to work, and I'm really tempted to buy a back-up (and I've never even done that before.)
