I started using this product almost 6 years ago now, and I simply cannot live without it anymore. I put it onto towel dried hair as a conditioning base to my styling product (Redken 07 curl perfector) and then diffuse and go. I use about a walnut and a half sized amount (but I have really long, really curly 3a hair - my hair isn't thick, but i have a LOT of it). It keeps my hair looking shiny, doesn''t weigh it down and dries beautifully. The product doesn't itch or cause any reactions (I also have very sensitive skin and a sensitive scalp), it doesn't leave a residue, and I always get complimented on the smell of my hair. I think it also really helps to keep it as tangle free as you can for 3a hair. I have used some awful products in my life that matte and tangle my hair to the point of where I've considered cutting out huge knots with scissors - but I really haven't had any of this type of frustration whilst I've been using this product. I also think that it has helped my hair to get healthier - it feels a lot better and i noticed the difference after 2-3 uses of the product. Also, considering how long my hair is, the prodduct lasts me AGES - over 5 months. So it works out really cheap too.

I love this stuff! I don't curl my hair very often, but when I do this makes my curls feel soft and manageable. Lately, i've been curling it more since it's naturally curly and this stuff makes my curls look so wonderful! They don't frizz up or poof out and they don't have that awful crunchy feeling I hate so much. Definitely a repurchase!! It may be expensive, but the bottle i have has lasted me almost a year. But, I also didn't use it that often. This stuff is seriously the best I've ever used, though; and a little does a lot for my hair which is about 3-4 inches past my shoulders.

This product is AMAZING!!!!!!

I have medium-thick, coarse, looooong, mixed, brunette hair. I have tried EVERYTHING! Everything you can find in a pharmacy/drugstore, even salon brands such as PM, MorrocanOil, Kerastase, TIGI Catwalk, and the list goes on. This works the best!!!! My hair is prone to frizz since where I live, its basically 95% humidity year-round :(

I love the smell as well. The packaging is great because you can get every last drop unlike those annoying pump bottles.
It's extremely pricey though, one tube is about $30 where I live, and it makes it even pricier because my hair is very long so I have to use quite a bit, ergo it won't last me as long as other consumers. Now, it doesn't keep my hair 100% frizz free, and I wouldn't expect it to. But it makes my hair EXTREMELY manageable, soft and shiny and controls about 95% of the frizz.

I think I may have found my HG hair styling product. *Knock on wood* :D

I'm not really sure what I think of this. It has some nice qualities and some disappointments.

+ Nice smell

+ Conditions well

+ Smooths down

+ Big tube, long lasting

- Doesn't enchance my curls as much as I wished it would (but my hair is rather wavy, so it's not perhaps product's fault...)

So basically I might buy this again just because of the smell and because of the fact that it is a good leave-in conditioner but for my curls... maybe not. Will use this tube without a doubt but probably try something else next.

I am on my second tube of fresh curls and I can't live without it. I have very long curly hair that is hard to manage. Fresh curls smells great and it actually lasted me awhile. I use more than one product on my hair ,but this is my starting point. It doesn't leave a build up and you can rinse it out without washing your hair. Also, I always buy mine at JCPenney salons where it is always $16.50 or less! They usually have some kind of special and/or coupons too. Hope this product works for you too!

I think this product is made for people who wash their hair everyday. I have coarse east-Indian hair, and on the second day my hair was in tangles. The softness I experienced on the first day did not translate to the next. I purchased this at a salon and applied as instructed by a Master stylist. Maybe this would be ok for a night out for someone with shorter hair who would wash it out when they come home. But yes, on the second day the frizz, dullness, coarseness, all come back.

So this is why I bought the Bumble & Bumble calming cream. If the REDKEN product worked for you, great, but it didn't for me. :)

This is a creme "leave-in anti-frizz detangler for unruly curls". My stylist recommended it and said my thick hair could handle it. I was worried it would be oily or greasy, but I can apply a good almost inch long bit to my hair and it really does wonders with my frizzy waves. I also apply to dry hair (versus wet hair) with no problems with residue. I'm hooked. It smells very nice and clean, too. An 8.5 ounce bottle was $17 at Ulta.

Funny thing is my mother-in-law exlaimed, You got a perm! after I put this on. It is amazing stuff.

This is a great product! It left my hair soft, tangle free, and curly. I used it when I had my hair really long, and it work great, and now that I have short hair it works just as well. I really recomment it.

I have fine, wavy hair and I give this product an average rating only because it DOES work to make your hair curlier. However, it really does dry out your hair, and makes it feel stiff rather than soft, which is a problem for me because I already have dry hair. I was using the Fresh Curls conditioner, and bought this because I didn't feel the conditioner was doing much on its own to define my curls, but I've stopped using it. Such a waste, because the packaging is HUGE.

The lady at the store I go to said the Redken line uses a lot of chemicals, so I've switched to a product that's less harsh and hopefully will help moisturise my hair better.

Verdict: if you have dry curly hair, don't use this product.

I wanted to try this, but I actually spent the $16 to try it after Sunsilk 24/7 creme was reformulated (actually, I'm sure the forumla is the same) and repackaged. They now give you less product for $1+ more. Not a big difference, but I refuse to pay more money for less product, especially when I have thick, somewhat long, curly hair. I'll be going though two bottles a month. Once again, won't break the bank, but still an annoyance nonetheless.

ANYWAY, you now know my hair type & how much product I have to use. I used this as a defrizzer, like the 24/7 creme. The first thing I notice is the smell. It smells clean, but like baby powder. I like it, but find it annoying, but I have gotten compliments on the smell of my hair. The consistency is thick & easy to spread through my hair (I use all products on wet hair, so it does make it easier to work in). I use a quarter sized to thirty five cents (haha, a quarter + a dime) sized amount (whereas with Sunsilk I'd use about a fifty cent coin amount) and it works all through my hair. It definitely helps curl formation (not that I need assistance in that department) because it makes my curls more.. ringlet-ly to where it's more springy. It defrizzes, but Sunsilk defrizzed better. :/

Overall, I would repurchase until/unless I find something better. I was kind of put off by the price, but they give you 8oz and I use less product, so it's not /too/ bad. Besides, I get my salon products from Ulta &/or JCPenny's, and they always have sales &/or coupons, so its not too bad. I'd also recommend this to people :)

Ps. This doesn't have hold, so don't expect it to hold any styles. Also, this would make a nice leave in, but it works better as a styler (for me) than as a leave in with the matching shampoo & conditioner. It does make my hair soft(er), but it does not add any extra moisture/conditioning from what I can tell.

[edit 05|01|10]
This builds up VERY slightly in my hair :( I think it's the amodimethicone, which is weird 'cause I can use shampoo & conditioner with that 'cone and its fine. :/ I'm still going to use it & I'll still repurchase until I can find something better, but I thought it should be note.

Crap! Product makes hair crunchy, stringy looking and sticky. Only good thing was the travel size bottle that I brought it in.

I couldn't stand this product! I always use a curl cream, but the two I alternated between are being discontinued (biologe curl cream & matrix curl cream). I was excited because the description of this product sounded so similar, but it was so disappointing. I found that it really weighed down my hair and made it feel and look like it had too much product in it, even when I used very little. I couldn't stand how it felt. I normally can use a lot of any product because I have very full, curly hair, so I was surprised by the result of my stringy, clumpy looking weighed down hair. I also found that there was no way I could use this as a touch up on dry hair because of the gloppy factor.

Good news- I found a great curl cream replacement to my discontinued products- Aveda's Be Curly curl enhancer.

LOVE this stuff. I have a cabinet full of partially used products promising to give me these results. This one delivers.

I have fine, very wavy, dry, highlighted hair. I use this, either alone or with the spray gel - and get a wonderful result every time. Even in high humidity.

No more fuzz head for me!!! Huge tube for $16.00.

I will never stray & buy another creme. This stuff is the da bomb.

Good to have soft, frizz free and defined curls. But I am not sure if it has a strong hold effect. Maybe you should use with a gel. But great as a leave-in.

pros: great in terms of moisturizing.Leaves hair really soft.
lovely fresh scent. no greasiness even if you accidentally use too much. But you don't need to use much either. a little goes a long way, even for my long coarse wavy hair. The bottle is huge, and you get tons of product.I bought mine on January and its still halfway full.I only use it after I wash my hair (3timesxweek, hair too dry for more) but still I use a decent amount (veryyyyyyyy long hair).
cons: I am sorry but it does absolutely nothing about frizzing or curl definition, especially if you have fine hair. You need a separate styling product to define and de-frizz your curls.
Overall, if you need a great leave in moisturizer for curly hair it is great.Curl definition and frizz-free? No.Try something else.I will try other products to see if I find a leave in treatment that combines all three but if not I'll come back to this for its moisturizing properties, and use another product for curl definition.

The smell is absolutely gorgeous. This product however isn't going to work on its own. I've tried putting it on my freshly washed hair on its own and the curls formed rather limp and lifeless. When used together with a leave in conditioner (I use Alchemy leave in) and a diffuser, this product helps form bouncy well defined curls. I use a little bit of Himalaya's Protein Hair Cream to help cut out the remaining frizz before walking out the door. fantastic product. for the price you pay it lasts forever. a definite keeper!

This works well on my fine, dry, 3a/3b, longish hair. I use it over Biolage Daily Leave-in Tonic for extra moisture and it holds my curls well with no crunchiness.
I lost quite a bit of hair due to my medication about 6 months ago and unfortunately this product does nothing to control the regrowth halo frizz, but I'm not sure anything would.
This is pretty expensive (here in New Zealand anyway) but it comes in a large tube and you only need to use a small amount so it should last for a decent length of time.

I love the smell of this stuff! But I hate to say it didn't do wonders for my hair, although it helped in the detangling, it didn't really do much for my curl shape, maybe it was because I used it alone, or my hair was so long the last time I tried it, I'm not sure, but I will try it again sometime. The price was a bit much for this too, only because I have to use more of it on my hair, oh well better luck next time!

This is a leave-in/curl cream combo item. It's great for my 3a/3b curls. The "Fresh Curls" line was reformulated sometime last year, I think, and I like this new line better. This does have a 'cone in it, but it's amodimethicone and I find this cone pretty mild with very very minimal build-up.
I haven't used the shampoo or conditioner from this line yet, but I did purchase sample sizes of each and cannot wait to try them out. Unfortunately,I couldn't find sample size for this and ended up spending $15 (I think ???) for it. But, in the long run, it's a good deal, because it's a leave-in and curl cream in one.
After I shampoo and condition, I put this on wet hair, scrunch my hair to help with curl formation and finger curl (twirl hair around finger) to get the look I want. This has a light hold, which is all I need. If you need more hold, I'd recommend using a gel or hairspray over this.
My hair is shiny and my curls look great! However, it helps with most of my frizz, but not all. That's why it's a 4, instead of a 5. I haven't found the miracle product that can deal with all of my frizz, so maybe I'm expecting too much out of this product.
