This is a beautiul beige with a silvery shimmer, I wear it mostly around christmas time as I feel it's quite festive, but I'm sure it would look great anytime of the year. Superb Chanel quality as always

I live in Florida, where my toes are exposed for 75% of the year. I have always found deeply colored nail polish to look vulgar on me, but perhaps not as vulgar as the naked toe. It's an aesthetic quandary and personal peccadillo that I tried to resolve with OPI and Essie polishes, many of which had unattractive yellowish undertones.

Chanel Delice is a light silvery beige with a semi-transparence. Applying one coat to my toenails gives me a finished, more professional look. There is no yellow cast to the product and it has superior staying power. I do not tan, and there is enough beige to this product that it doesn't look odd against the paleness of my skin. I find that it has a very subtle glow and a finely milled shimmer. I have also worn this on my fingernails, although my polish of choice there is clear. Delice allows me to have a nearly maintenance-free manicure/pedicure that is also a sophisticated, understated one.

I just adore this nailpolish, despite its ridiculously high price. I really don't buy nailpolish frequently (I own maybe 4 bottles), so I don't mind paying a little more for the perfect color - and Delice is perfect on me! I'm very fair with pinkish undertones to my skin, and Delice gives me the perfect blend of very light pigmentation and sparkle. And this stuff really does sparkle! I like to use it on its own (it's so sheer you can practically slop it on with no ill-effects, it's really fast and easy), but come summer will probably layer it over Chanel's Ballerina. This would look stunning over the new Blue Satin too I'd bet!

This color reminds me of bubbly champagne. It is a champagne colored sparkly shimmer, goes one very sheer, but with a few coats it is a great everyday color. Easy to wear.

I'd definitely buy it again!

How to start......? I've worn a neutral pink beige for the last 10 years!!! I love OPI Tutti Frutti Tonga but wanted something more special and more biege. Delice looks gorgeous in the container or whatever you call it. I wear it over OPI Samoan Sand to tone it down and because it's VERY sheer. Delice is basically glitter in an almost clear base. Cannot be worn on it's own IMO. The glitter flashes gold or pale beige to me. Nop green or other weird colors. It meets my beigey pink criteria but the reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 is that it's waaaaaay too sparkly for summer or constant use. In sunlight it looks alive and fresh from afar (up close is glitter nightmare). In artificial light it tends to look muddy or smudged. Strange. I gave it 4 lippies because when it's good, it's REAL good --(outside at arm's length) -- but when it's bad.... you get the picture!

among all the chanel np i have tried or have, this so far is the best n one which i would reconsider purchasing again...unfortunately the price sucks...

its not milky or opaqe (they give me corpse fingers) and has delicate shimmers oh yes...so delicate it doesnt really look like shimmer...just gold dust on ur fingers giving that sparkle...perfection! its similar to essie tennis corset (the shimmer except the base is a beige while tennis corset is white). apparently hollywood blonde is also similar but has a pink base instead...

ETA: I finally got my hands on hollywood blonde, shimmer is similar but the base shade is different. I much prefer hollywood blonde over delice...somehow hollywood blonde goes better with my cool colouring. my fingers look tanned n old with delice but young n fair with hollywood blonde.

This is a sheer, pinky-peach colour with lots of tiny glitter giving your nails a shiny, glittery finish in a barely there polish. This polish goes on easy, dries to a shiny finish and wears well. I will say if your nails are stained or have discolouration this might not be the most flattering colour to use. Chanel polish is outrageously expensive and I think you could probably find dupes in less-expensive brands. UPDATE: 10 December: I'm wearing this shade today and have decided this is not a colour that works for my skintone. I've tried layering over and under different shades and I still don't like the way it looks on my nails. It's a shame because Chanel, as you know, costs a small fortune and I hate throwing money away like that.

LE for Holidays 2007 this is another superb nail polish from Chanel. Slightly beige in the bottle with lots and lots of sparkle -- super fine glitter (nothing of the large particles found in other brands' polishes) that when applied gives to my nails an almost mirror like finish. It's v. sheer and natural -- nails will show through after 2 coats of this polish. The way I love to wear it is as a finishing pre-top coat layer to my other Chanel polishes. Delice is sheer enough for another color to show through, but with it on top you're getting a whole different color and dimension (I turly love this elegant mirror sparkle on my nails) -- and it's also a great way to refresh your existing nail color collection by turning the old polishes into something fresh and new. It looks great on its own too, for those that like to wear sheer color.
