Uppity was one of my more recent CCO scores, and while I can't say I would've paid full price for it, considering I scored it quite cheap, I'm happy with it for the most part.

This definitely for me, doesn't work as a liner since it's a light metallic gold shade. However, as an eye shadow base or used on the lower lashline, it's definitely a winner!! It wears like iron, doesn't crease or fade on me, and looks incredible on the inner corners as well when I'm doing a bronzey/peachy eye to pull the golden tones in my brown eyes out!!

I'm not a huge fan of this one. I reach more for "Brassy" but more for an es base than anything else, as i always feel that it washes me out. As an eyeshadow base, its great!

Uppity i don't really use as a liner, i use it as an everyday cream shadow. It's such a gorgeous metallic light gold shade that doesn't get enough good reviews. It doesn't crease on me. It makes a great base as well. I also like to use a little on my cheekbones for a nice glowing highlight effect.

I received this in a swap and I am glad. What a great way to try something! Thanks MUA. However, I don't care for uppity on me. It is not as smooth as some of the other fluidlines (which are in general my all time favorite) and the color is just not something I will wear much as an eyeliner. I don't care for the feel of the fluidlines as an all over color, although if you like that it would probably be very pretty that way. I have mine up for swap.

This is a gorgeous colour. Yellow gold that goes on sheer but still shows up on me.
It is a great base for gold, green and bronze eyeshadows. I wear this under "sable" and "all that glitters" and looks really nice.
Whether i wear this as a liner/eyeshadow or a base for other e/s it looks gorgeous and brightens up my face and eyes!
Striking but yet simple look!! Love it!!

Only drawback is that is creases a little!

I like this fluidliner alot. It's a sheer gold that is perfect for daywear for making your eyes pop out. I often put on another gold shade of eye shadow and then line my upper eyelids with Uppity to make them brighter.

I thought this would be a great intense Gold eyeliner, but sadly it is not. It goes on so sheer! I was hoping it would look more intense. If I apply this by itself, I can barely tell I am wearing it. It looks better when used with darker eyeshadows below. It makes a good base for gold colour eyeshadows, but that is not what I was really looking for. I'll have to experiment a bit more with it, but right now I am pretty unimpressed and kinda regret buying it.

Love, love, love this Fluidline! Even though I have very fair skin, the gold really stands out on my lids (I usually wear it over the gold shade of the Engaging Mineralize shadow). I haven't had trouble with the application, although I have been going for a broader stroke than I would with a darker liner. (I think that some pots of Fluidline are just crumblier/dryer than others). Lasts on me all day but comes off easily, just like the other Fluidlines. I've been wearing it almost daily during the pre-holiday season and people are always commenting on the way it makes by chocolate-brown eyes pop. I also use a bit in the corners of my eyes and just below my lower lash line, for extra lift. That makes it more useful once the holidays are over and I can't justify wearing gilded eyes all the time.

Gel eyeliner is something I use daily. It is silky on my lids and lasts all day. “Uppity” is no exception to that rule.

It is a sheer gold gel that works well with a liner brush for a pop of shimmer on the lash line or as a longwearing shadow. I truly wanted this to be an opaque Cleopatra gold but I suppose the sheer formula is much more universally useful.

The pot is huge so it will last a long time but, if needed, I will consider a repurchase. I still want to find my perfect Cleopatra gold eyeliner!

This shows up just beautifully on me - it gives me that awesome tinfoil look! I wish it were a tiny bit easier to apply evenly, but it's certainly easier than a lot of the liquid eyeliners I own, and it has the added bonus of not irritating my lids. Gorgeous shade, too!

I knew when I got this that I probably wouldn't necessarily use this as an eyeliner because it is such a light and pretty gold that it wouldn't show up on my dark toned eyelids. I have used this as a creamy shadow, in my inner corner of my eyes, and I also like to put on Vanilla es with a thick line of Uppity and then my black Clinique gel liner tightlined over. It's definitely not a dramatic color of fluidline, but it's such a great gold highlight color. I now use this as one of my staples because of how I use it.

im a gold makeup addict so i am very pleased with this. I have fluidline in 'iris eyes' but 'uppity' doesnt quite match up in terms of quality. It doesnt go on smoothly. 'Iris eyes' tends to go on so smoothly (in true gel liner fashion) that it looks like eyeshadow, whereas 'uppity' needs work to get the metallic finish to sit nicely. However i dont have the problems that other people have with getting it to show up, you just need to use alot. I wont be repurchasing as the next gold thing will come along to entice me, but i will happily use this up.
edit: ive found that the best way to put this on is with my fingers.it just doesnt seem to work with any brushes i try compared to just sticking my little finger in n smoothing on the product. probably really germy but never mind. it doesnt show up as a really obvious gold, but i like the look and take comfort in the fact that i wont look ott when i wear this.

As others have said, the color of this 2007 Holiday LE fluidline is gorgeous. It's a cool, true gold, and I love the look of it, both on and off my eyes. That being said, there's something off about the quality. Maybe it's just me, but I am having a lot of trouble getting a nice solid line out of this stuff. I have other fluidlines that give me no problem, so I don't think it's my application skills. There's just something off about the texture of this product. Maybe it's whatever they've put in it to make it so metallic, which is, unfortunately, why I like it so much, but it won't spread evenly, and it doesn't have the staying power of the other fluidlines.

The few times I've tried to use it as a proper gel liner, it didn't work. It rubbed off in patches here, clumped up there...bad news. But I have found other uses for it. My favorite is to use it as a base, and then play around with various pigments/shadows on top. It also looks pretty to dab just a bit in the inner corners of the eye when wearing an otherwise neutral look. Now that I have it, I'll use it, but it definitely wasn't what I was hoping for when I bought it.

this product is politely put 'boring' . it's a great base for golds and such...but so other products .this is easlil immitated but applying a light f/l like silver or frostlight topped with new vegas, naked lunch or even gorgeous gold.... and if you do it this way you won't get wired lids due to over application. I'm NW/Nc 15 for reference and i had to apply three/two layers to get an effect. But it's very lovely under shades like humid or gleam as a base as i said before. no repurchase for me :)

This looks soooo pretty in the pot, so I decided to buy it because I love fluidlines and I figured I would love this one too. It’s to bad I cant see it at all when I put it on my eyes. Like the reviewer below said I could see it when I am close to the mirror but see nothing from a distance. It still has the great consistency that all the fluidlines have. I really want to love this and I really want it to work because I love the color in the pot, but I don’t think it ever will. I will probably return it and get something else... to bad!
UPDATE: This stuff is horrible, after wearing it for a few hours i was making my eyes itch. when i looked in the mirror this stuff was cracking and flaking, when i touched it all of it just crumbled off! I love fluidlines but this is by far the worst one i have ever tried, its even the worst mac product ive tried! the only reason i even gave this prodcut a one is because the color in the pot is so pretty.

Uppity is a gorgeous, bright gold liner which is perfect for any party girl! I like to line it on my lower lashline with a darker liner on top- it doesn't look as obvious on my upper lashline. It looks lovely with silver shadows like the grey half of Silversmith and Forgery.
