I can't speak on how this will work on longer hair, but it is amazing for pixie cuts of all textures. On my fine hair, this gives incredible fullness and lift particularly if I apply it while hair is wet and then blow dry/finger comb. It has allowed me to achieve creative shaping styles and spiking my pixie hair into a faux hawk. Don't try layering it with other products though...I made the mistake of using a salt spray on wet hair and then this to finish, and I got a head full of residue. I've literally pared down my haircare styling products to this and the matching ENJOY strong hold spray. My style holds up all day even in humidity.

My HG hair product! A hairstylist friend suggested this to me. I have long layered short hair. Stick straight and not in an attractive way! No volume at all. I use Tresemme 24 Hour Volume Mousse first (two or three egg-sized applications like the directions say, that's the trick) and then a small amount of the Texture Cream (less than a dime sized amount) massaged into damp hair before I blow dry using a round metal barrel vented brush. I have been a hair product junkie for over 30 years and have never found a product that gives me the natural-looking volume, texture, and style-ability that a tiny amount of this product delivers!

I use this on my shoulder-length hair and also to style my son's hair into a fauxhawk. It's a great, light hold that doesn't leave his baby-fine hair sticky or greasy.

love this. i've used crew pomade...worked great but smelled like a dude. and dirt...great smell but didn't blend well, too pasty. this stuff blends and smells great. they give you a huge amount of product for the price, and it only takes a little bit. i work a tiny bit into my palms and scrunch it into my hair. my hair is chin length, so the cream holds down the fly aways and give it a little bit of that texture that only days without washing can provide. i'll definitely buy it again if i ever run out!!!

i have very thick coarse hair and i wanted something new, usually i go with TIGI curls rock paste in the pump but i wanted something new and the curls rock was not that much product for 16 bucks. This is 20 but is at least twice the amount and you don't need as much. It will last for a long time. My only beefs against it are that it is very thick and not super spreadable.. You kinda have to work it into even wet hair. It does have a solid hold once you put it on. I think it would work very well if i diffused it.. Something I never do..I may start cutting it down with some clear serum. One great thing is it washes out very easily, off your hands and your hair. Curls rock was always such a pain to get the 'cones feeling off your hands.
edit: 8/18/09: so i've been using this for a while now and i like it much better than Curls rock. I started cutting it down with biosilk serum and also putting in my hair when it's sopping wet. Then i put it in the towel. when i take out the towel it works quite nicely to make my hair stay close to my head. For reference: I have super curly, thick/coarse, medium length hair.

this stuff works great on short hair!! i don't use it anymore because i am actively trying to grow mine out. does not contain wax or oil. it is perfect for spiking and flipping hair out! this product does not feel heavy either which makes it ideal for people with all hair types! i can only find enjoy products at planet beauty in the mall but you can also find them online for a lot cheaper. i love enjoy products!!
