SHUT THE DOOR!!! This stuff is beyond stellar, super-ceedes FANTASTIC!!! Lands firmly *tied* in 1st place of best skin care products I've ever tried/used (and I've used a plethora, to couch it on the low side!). The body butter in the same line (Neutrogena Comforting Butter Body Cream) is tied with it, making these two products the top two of any, from any brand, price range, product type, etc., that I've ever used..seriously, e-vah used.

The texture is heavenly and perfect. Liked whipped butter that's been warmed to just malleable and with a scent that is perfectly warm and sweet. The fragrance reminds me of a much toned-down version of Yankee's Buttercream Candle. It's scented enough to give a perfect waft of fragrance rather than feeling like you've buried your head into a vat of too-sweet buttercream frosting. The hydration lasts and lasts and has re-defined my interpretation of long-lasting. Previously, I considered a shower cream/wash excellent if my skin didn't feel dry two hours after a shower. Even without moisturizing post-shower, my skin feels soft and hydrated (and looks it too! Bye bye alligator skin that literally looks like an alligator purse pattern, so bad you can see it just standing near me!) I get added hours when I pair it with the above referenced shower butter wash. Prior to finding this, I would have ranked Clinique's Deep Comfort Body Wash as a 3-star overall and best body wash I've personally used) but this makes Clinique's and every other body wash targeted for very dry skin/marketed as being extra-hydrating, seem like using bar soap.

My absolute HG shower cream!

Great product. Smells great, moisturizing, but doesn't leave me with that "oil slick" feeling like Olay ribbons did. Definite repurchase.

Smells great (butter cream without being sickening sweet..mmm), lathers well without using a ton of product (I use a buff puff), left my skin feeling smooth and moisturized. Love love love!

Love this product. Smells great, moisturizes well, what more could you ask?

It's the best body wash I have used in a very long time. I find the ones from Bath and Body Works and everyplace else to be drying, although I like the scents. This one makes my winter-dry skin feel great and doesn't leave a greasy film on like some do.

I wish the package was larger, but so far it's lasting okay. I use with a net sponge and it goes a long way, like another reviewer said.

I only wish I had bought both this and the body butter at the same time. I think my winter skin would have been in a lot better shape!

i really loved this stuff when i first bought it. as everyone's mentioned, the fragrance is absolutely delicious. i needed something for the winter months to clean but also soothe my painfully dry, itchy, eczema-prone skin. this seemed to do the trick initially, but i eventually realized it wasn't that hydrating. i mean, anything that foams and rinses clean isn't really putting moisturize back into your skin. it's a nice body wash as body washes go, but not a miracle product. i said i would repurchase, but only because i wouldn't exactly *avoid* repurchasing (if that makes sense). TBH after i use it up (and the next body wash i have waiting in queue), i'm gonna continue my search for something genuinely hydrating and ideally containing more natural ingredients.

pros: not extraordinarily drying; non-irritating; smells lovely.
cons: expensive ($7 or $8 at Target) for what it was, and for the quanity.

Just started using this and the accompanying body cream/butter and love them both. The scent is a subtle cross between butter and vanilla and definitely does not clash with my perfume (either Chanel No. 5 or Calvin Klein Euphoria). I use the wash with a net sponge every day and my skin never feels tight and dry afterward, which it sometimes does even with expensive products. My elbows, heels and knees have been rough all winter, no matter what I tried, but not anymore, thanks to this stuff. I agree: a larger version of the body wash would be good. However, a little goes a very long way with a net sponge.

I love this body wash! After seeing it featured in a magazine, I decided to try this and man does this smell delish! It is cream and comforting when you use it. Very rich, but not drying to the skin at all. I just wish the size was a tad larger. I follow up with the body butter which is just as delish too! Great buy. Can't believe I was spending more on pricer brands.

I agree - smells almost edible! But in a really great, not very strong way, so you can wear just about any perfume or body spray after using this. It has a very warm, almost vanilla scent - but not quite. This also does a great job of all-over moisturization, I can see using it in summer and not needing body lotion. Lathers up rich and creamy, with tons of long-lasting lather. My one and only complaint is that it's pricey for a drugstore product (smaller size too) but since it's such a nice product, I'll pay anyway! : )

Smells simply yummy, delicious, and almost edible.
Feels great when lathering into skin.
Skin feels soft and silky upon rinsing.
I'm very picky and I cannot believe that I actually like this.
I'll repurchase.
