I tend to love all Lush products, but this stuff sucks! Only nice thing I could say is that it smells fantastic... other than that I hate the fact that it doesn't lather on my loofa, it doesn't moisturize like they told me it would at the store, I need a ton of the stuff to feel like the product is actually working. I hate that I spent 21 bucks on this stuff.. I love Lush, but this product was so disappointing.

I loved the scent but the soap didn't really do anything special for me. the tub is a pain. I don't think I would buy this again.

This product is very moisturizing and I would definitely buy again. It doesn't lather but I bought mainly for it's moisturizing properties. the smell is great and it smells really sweet. I use it by rubbing a small amount all over my arms and legs and it leaves them so moisturized. Another way to use it is by adding a bit of some exfoliant (I use LUSH's sugar scrub ground up) and it leaves your skin so soft and moisturized.

As a soap it's just ok. If you want something to suds and bubble then this is not for you. It has lots of oils and butters in it to make the skin very soft. I don't use it to clean myself. I use it as a shaving cream and then slather it on my arms and elbows after I use other shower gels to clean. This stuff made my legs and arms so soft and smooth. It was worth it just for that.

I have eczema and some soaps leave my skin feeling really tight and dry. I was browsing at Lush when a SA suggested I try this smoothie. I tried this with an exfoliator, and my hands felt SO soft afterwards. My hands are usually a little rough because of my dry skin, but I left feeling silky smooth about an hour or so after trying this smoothie. I took a chance, bought it, and loved the feel in the shower. I was worried that the no-lather formula would leave me feeling dirty, so I added a tiny drop of my regular body wash (baby wash) and it made the smoothie foam right up. I've also found that putting the smoothie on a shower pouf helps it lather up.
Super soft and is working well for me.

Pros: delicious subtle smell, feels luxurious, good ingredients, incredibly moisturizing and absolutely non-drying (can get away without moisturizer after shower/bath).
Cons: no lather (although thats not a con for me at all! don't mind in the least), expensive, tub packaging.
I was just browsing around store and of course got attacked by an SA while I had this in my hand who forced my hands into the sink for a wash with it. I said thanks and put it down but I kept feeling my hands while I was walking around the store and they were so friggen soft. I added it on once I got to the till and I get the same effect in the shower. I absolutely adore it. I've never had issues with body acne or anything like that but I know some people don't feel like they're being cleaned putting a lotion type product as a body cleanser but I use this after workouts and my skin is softer and clearer than ever. LOVE it!

Wonderful shower smoothie that leaves skin unbelievably soft and smooth.
PROS: (1) Smells like a decadent whipped dessert. It smells like creamy vanilla custard, honey, and almond. It is not a sweet scent, just warm and smooth. Plus, the scent is light enough to layer perfume over without conflict. (2) Leaves skin cashmere soft- I had so many compliments when people would touch my arms or brush past me. (3) This is most useful as a shaving cream for legs- it offers a better shave than my previous products. (4) This pairs perfectly with ‘Sympathy for the Skin’- the scent of this body lotion is the much lighter version of this smoothie. It will enhance the softening effects of this wash without clashing the scent. (5) Does not irritate my sensitive acne prone skin, the contrary- it sooths it.
CONS: (1) the packaging comes in the Lush trademark pot. For shower products, it would be so much easier if they could use squeeze tubes to prevent water from ruining the product. (2) It hardly lathers, I honestly did not feel as clean when I used this alone without soap.
Overall, I will buy this again during the winter to battle dryness, and occasionally as a shaving cream.
Happy Shopping!

OOOoooo!!! SEXY in the SHOWER! This is a creamy, dreamy, deliciously decadent confection for the shower. There is something almost erotic about dipping into a new pot of this delightfully yet softly scented creamed soap. The smell is sweet but not sickly and oh so scrumptious. The only issue I have is the container - I'd love it if LUSH would start looking into tubes with flip caps for their soft shower soap confections. Would make it much easier to handle and more sanitary (then again, you ARE in a shower... right??)!

The scent is very natural. Don't expect a really sweet vanilla, coconutty, almond smell because that's not what you'll get. The texture is unbelievable. Very soft almost like lotion. My skin feels soft and not irritated after using it. I get tons of lather with my bath pouf. Awesome stuff!

Got this as a sample with my last lush order. It doesn't really lather but I'm not one of those people who needs to see/feel lather to feel clean. It has a pleasant light scent that unfortunately doesn't really linger on me. Left my skin feeling moisturized post shower. Will buy in the future.

This didn't impress me at all. It didn't make my skin noticeably softer nor did it leave it smelling nice. Thankfully I got it as a free sample and didn't spend money on it!

I use this as a shaving cream. I have used it as a body wash and its great and smells too tasty for words but I love it as a shaving cream. Nothing helps you get as close as this Smoothie. Skin is super soft and lightly scented with various things not coconut or almond to be precise. I could eat this stuff if it was edible! It makes me feel ultra sexy especially in the summer time...

Smell is so-so, pretty bland. It doesn't really bother me because it doesn't linger.
I end up using more than I'd like because of the non-lathering. I can't tell if I'm covered/clean so I just scoop it on until I feel 100%. It goes on and feels more like lotion. I can work a small amount of lather up, if I rub hands together quickly but it's not much. And I lose a lot in that process. I do find it moisturizing and that's a big plus. But I won't buy again because I don't get enough bang for my buck. If it smelled the way I imagined (like almonds and coconut), then I would sacrifice all my issues with this soap and buy forever, but alas... blah.

While I would definitely say that this doesn't smell like coconuts or almonds, it smells so good that I couldn't resist dropping some change to try this out. It's so luxurious and lathers really well. I sometimes use it to shave my legs, too! I just can't use it on my chest area because it causes me to break out a little. Otherwise, I love this product.

I bought this once a long time ago and really don't know why I haven't again. I love the scent and the creamy consistency. I would also combine it with the sea salt once a week to do some great exfoliating. One really great thing about this stuff is it is a soap, so it's meant for cleaning but it moisturizes nicely too

I hate this stuff. It is impossible to work with in the shower. Water gets into the container , it doesn't lather for me at all. This may work okay in the bathtub, but it isn't good at all for showering. The sales girl in Lush really pushed this and as usual she followed me everywhere in the store and I just purchased it. I regret it and will likely return it.

This is one of my fave winter time indulging treats! Whenever I feel the need to moisture up a bit, I'll get me a handful of this smoothie and splash it on. It's a very satisfactory feeling, I may say- the first time I tried it I had those ohs and ahs, a very pleasant experience. Perfect winter time soap for those living in a cold and dry climate.

I got this recently and I am in love. I've so far used is as a soap/shaving cream for my legs and, as suggested by bellasera973, I mixed this with my ocean salt scrub and used it on my face. In the fall/winter my skin gets dry and my face felt so nice after washing it with the two mixed together.
The smell at first was sort of playdoh-y but in the shower and when I wash my face with it, the smell is more candy/marshmallow-like. I'm not sure what to call it but it's a soft, sweet scent.
It doesn't lather much, but I don't mind that, and besides, if it lathered a lot it would mean that it contained a higher proportion of ingredients that have a tendency to dry you out more (ex. the SLS's).
Once you get around dealing with the jar part of it this is an awesome, awesome product. This will be in my winter staples.
:)

Gorgeous scent that i can't quite place...you can definitely smell the vanilla in it though! feels like a dream when smothered all over the body and doesn't dry the skin out.
beautiful product, nice moisture content, nice clean feeling. would soooo purchase again!

I bought this on a whim for a smidge over £7 and although its a pleasing product to use, I don't think its 'special' enough to warrant the price tag, although there's plenty of product in the 250g pot. There's no real scent to this product after using it, which I've always felt was part of the joy of LUSH - the amazing smells! In fact, after a few washes, it just began to smell like typical household soap to me. The whipped, fluffy 'smoothie' consistency is absolutely beautiful, and it does make my skin lovely and soft, plus it can shift dirt better than the buttercreams, but that's probably because it contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - yes, THAT infamous detergent *tut tut LUSH*. I'm prone to b-acne so I avoided using it on my chest and back because of the oils and cocoa butter, so I can't say whether or not it would break me out. I also found it a little too alkaline for my liking - just very very slightly drying, but I'm used to the buttercreams, so it may just be the comparison. All in all, its nice to use as a quick, slightly lathering shower soap, but it didn't have the wow factor I'm used to with LUSH products.
