I got this thru an auction at a very reasonable price and since it was LE and is discontinued. I love it, the purple side is a beautiful medium-dark purple which I use on my lids with Top Knot in the crease & outer V (and also smudged below the lower lash line)and blended out with Blanc type. What a beautiful purple smokey eye look. Great texture and finish-easy to blend and very pigmented. I haven't tried the other side yet-but I am sure I will love that as well. Thanks Mac! I doubt I will ever use it up, but if I did-I would repurchase.

I adore this shadow duo. I might be crazy for saying this, but I think the Mineralize shadows are some of the best products MAC makes. The taupey shade that's in this duo is one of the best taupes I have ever tried. It's great for a smokey eye or to add definition to the crease. It has a wonderful pearlescent quality that you don't see in eyeshadows that often. The purple is nice too, it has a lot of dimension. I especially love it as a liner shade. This duo is just gorgeous.

I have tried this product with each color alone, together, for night and day looks. I find the colors to muddy too easily when blended together and the color effect too dramatic for day looks. However, I love both shades individually as crease color for day looks. For a night night time smokey eye the duo is great as long as you don't over blend. I probably wouldn't buy again only because the amount of product is going to last me for a long time and I am sure I will find other products to replace this shadow duo when the time comes. Good for now but not my favorite mac mineralize duo.

Earthly Riches is a great duo to have in your collection. The purple and charcoal colors work great together. I wore this smokey eye look to the office, and it was not too dramatic or over the top. It looked very classy with a little golden highlighter on the browbone. Sadly, this broke while travelling. I have transferred the loose shadow to a pigment jar. The two colors are now blended together and are similar to mauvement pigment. This is not a bad thing since I only have a sample of mauvement.

I love the purple in duo alone, I had to layer it for impact but I love it and I put the grey in the crease. or it looks good in reverse .I find both colors very wearable.

This is a great eyeshadow duo. It consists of a dark mauvey color and a light charcoal color. Both with a metallicy finish. The pigmentation is also great. You could use this shadow duo either wet or dry. I personally like to take a little of Fix Plus to my brush before I use any mineralized eyeshadows. I think that this duo also would work well on all skin tones because it can create this slightly muted smokey eye that would look great on anyone. One day I actually wore it out during a summer day! Even though I don't usually wear such dark colors during the day... it worked! cause the mutedness of it worked for ay as well as night! The colors are very versatile and are just great in general! Also, I found this shadow in my Mac store, I know that it is currently not online, but you may be able to find it in your store/counter! Check before it's too late!

Great colors, very pigmanted, and easy to blend. There is some fall out because it's a mineralized eyesahdow, and the color has shimmer in it, but I like it. At first I thought it was a little dark to wear during the day, but if I put on a light color all over my lid, and then use this one on just the outter corner and outter crease, it's wearable for a day time look.

I fell in love w/ this product. In reading these reviews (after I had purchased it but not tried it), I was a little bummed that I had bought an OK product. But in my opinion, this is an eyeshadow completely worth your money. Initially, i think mineralize eyshadows, don't buy, bad color payoff, etc. But I saw this at my CCO and I gave it a try. W/ one swatch the color pay off was intense, unique colors as well, and it didnt fade (I walked around a couple of other stores before purchasing it). I like to wear the greay during the day & I'll deepen it w/ the purple to go out. I love how my night look is in just one e/s compact. I would definately repurchase.

Wow, I didn't expect such dark colours to be so easy to work with. Both sides of this duo are soft and easy to blend, which can be tough with dark shadows. I can see myself using them often for the crease, but I guess time will tell.

My second favourite from the Antiquitease collection, after Family Silver. Such gorgeous, romantic colours. I've taken to bringing this along with my in my purse for when I need to make my day make-up more dramatic and transition into a night look.

This has a stunning purple on one side & purply grey on the swirled side. Love this for a softer goth look instead of just black.

Love this product!! Looks wonderful on any colour eye! Creates a beautiful smoky eye. Can be made intense or light according to how much you use. The only thing I dont like is that it leaves particles under the eye...but that can be easily swept away with a brush! Try it!

Love Love LOVE. This creates the perfect smoky eye for me and it compliments my green eyes well. I can either make it very subtle or very intense depending on how I use it. I got this at the Cosmetics Company Store for 11 bucks and for the amount of product you get, its definitely worth it. There is so much product in the pan.

my very very very very first MAC purchase that wasn't powder or lipstick.
In love. I'm a sucker for purple eyeshadow, and the way that i can build the intensity of this purple is just awesome. Looks gorgeous in the pan...with the pinky veining through it, and the grey is such a pretty complimenting color. LOVE this. works great with my stars'n rockets, star violet, and kitten smokey eye. Put this in the crease, and BAM......perfect purple smoky eye, every time.

At first I wasn't sure about this...it looked rather muddy in the pan, but swatched on the back of the hand, had lots of promise. I bought it without trying it on at the counter. I'm really glad I did...this is georgeous. It made my green eyes POP without too much shimmer or glitter. The tiny bit of fallout was easy to clean up. Note: when chosing one to bring home, have the SA go through the stock and choose the one you like...each pan is different and has a different look/combination of colors. I've found that those with the most contrast between colors in the pan are the best to go with. I have deep green eyes, and this works just about any way I choose to use it...my fav is the silver on lids, and the plum in the crease, then switching back to the silver for the browbone, I've also used it mixed together over the lid and in the crease, and it looks great. Being a mineral makeup (I've never found a perfect one) it does crumble a tiny bit, but if you use an eyelid primer and SLIGHTLY dampen your brush, you should have no trouble. I doubt I will ever run out of this. I've just ordered two other mineralize combos...think the combinations are great and I like the fact that it can be mild or wild...you choose,

I REALLY wanted to like this duo, but I just couldn't. In the pan, it looks sooooo pretty--a lovely smoky purple look just WAITING to happen...but once you put it on, it's so muddy-looking. The two colours morph into almost identical shades and they just aren't as pigmented as the regular MAC shadows. They also rub off really easily...aaaaand, another odd thing, it CREASED on me... I really don't understand that because I wear TFSI under all my shadows--be it Paint Pots, MAC singles, Too Faced e/s, Rimmel e/s...and my shadow never creases because of the TFSI. But somehow, by some unfathomable event, it creased and migrated and faded--the whole bit. Oh well. It went back to the MAC store, needless to say.

I have to say I love this duo. I am a fairly new MAC addict and this was one of those things that I saw in store and just had to have! The colours are gorgeous and very unique due to the veining.
I wore this yesterday as a daytime look with the grey on the lid and the purple in the crease and blended slightly above. I got so many compliments on it! The colours blend together really nicely and they showed up great on my NW15 skin but were not too dark if you know what I mean!
I think this would make a lovely night time smokey eye if applied over a black base.
I wore this for the whole day yesterday with UDPP underneath and I didn't have any creasing or fading.

I found that earthly riches was not very pigmented at all. Unlike all my other mineralized e/s (heat element, 2-to-glow, and play on plays), it was just blah on my lids. I returned this, because it was not like how I wanted it be be.

I recently found this in my makeup stash and fell in love with these colors. I adore the burgundy/pinkish veining throughout the deep purple and the taupe/gray color. I love the color combination both create and it really compliments brown eyes. This makes an amazing sultry smokey eye. The only downside is the staying powder is not as good as I get from my other MAC shadows even when using UDPP on my lids. Other than that, I would highly recommend this just based on the gorgeous colors.

I really do like this but I find that mineral shadows have too much fall-out and I already have so many purple shades. This is nice to have but I wouldn't call it a necessity.
