Wow, this cream is DIVINE! Smells so warm and sensual, and is as comforting as wrapping yourself in velvet. Feel so sexy when I wear this, and it really does leave a lingering scent. The cream itself sinks is, is not greasy and leaves skin incredibly soft. I've had difficulty finding a moisturising body cream that didn't feel heavy or tacky, this is the one!
I've removed 1 lippy for the insane price ($55), and the packaging. Even though the jar is huge (300g), according to the expiration date on the packaging, it lasts 6 months- meaning that if you buy it as a treat to be used for special occasions, you will find it hard to get through in 6 months- bear in mind, it only needs to be used sparingly!
With that in mind, I'm going to use this as my daily Winter pick me up cream. The thought of wrapping myself in this would definitely motivate me to get out of bed in the chilly Winter mornings!
Would I buy this again? Hell, yeah!

I absolutely love this stuff! It smells heavenly and I always get tons of compliments when I wear it. I'm not a fan of perfumes as I have horrible allergies and tend to sneeze when I spray them so perfumed creams/lotions work best for me. This is my HG! This cream is expensive but lasts a long time. I just apply on my arms and chest and the compliments roll in all day. I gave it a 3 for packaging because it gets more difficult to dig out of the jar near the end but I will never stop using this awesome cream! Would highly recommend!

My high school French teacher, on days she wore her favorite perfume, used to sniff her arm and say, "Je scent bonne!" That's how I feel when I wear this. The scent of this cream is fantastic -- vanilla that could actually come from an orchid plant and not from a baked good, and fig. I wear it with L'Artisan Perfumeur fig perfume, and it's a great combo. I'm not much for the jar (I didn't use mine for a while and it got kind of icky around the top). I would say that the price is insane for lotion, but the fact that the fragrance is so great and lasts from morning till night makes it worth it.

I LOOOOOOOOOVE this product! The scent, the texture and the lasting power of the scent are fabulous! People around will ask: "what smells so nice in here?" It"s a pure indulgence. A very sensual experience. IMO it's the best vanilla scent ever. I actually was never a vanilla fan before this product. Now, I'm hooked! Not cloying, not cheap, not artificial, just sexy and rich. Bravo! Il wish Laura Mercier made a fragrance just like this (I have their "vanille gourmande" fragrance that I like but IMO it's not as good as this scent, it's a bit more on the "powdery" side...).

I have been a fan of LM souffle body creams for a while now, and was so pleased when I found out she had this new scent in her arsenal. This is a wonderful vanilla with a spicy edge. It starts off a little sweeter, but I definitely smell the sandalwood after it dries down a little on my skin. In fact, it becomes more spicy than sweet on me. Maybe it's just my chemistry. It reminds me of the Tahitian Vanilla Bean Vanilla/Sandalwood oil that you can get at BBW. It's a strong scent for sure, but that's actually what I was seeking as a winter scent. I would suggest using this in the winter, as I think it would probably be too strong, and possibly cloying in warmer weather. The texture is similar to LM's other creams, luxurious and creamy without being heavy or greasy. I think this one will be a keeper for me, at least in the winter.

Love the sweet scent-it's mainly vanilla and fig imo. Reminds me of Henri Bendel's Fig, or B&BW Brown Sugar and Fig. The smell is strong but it doesn't bother me. I can't smell it all day but others detect it on me. I'm getting the trio for my mother :)

I'm glad I didn't buy this product unsmelled. I stopped at the LM counter at my local Nordie's to check it out. It comes in the usual jar (not the greatest for getting the product out) and the usual LM quality is there. It feels like silk going on and is very moisturizing. However, I did not like the scent. Unlike the Cream Puff scent, which I found to be a pretty straight vanilla, there's something cloying here--maybe the fig note--and I could not detect a bit of amber or sandalwood, even after wearing it all day (however, better noses than mine may pick up those notes). The scent is quite strong, and it's something I couldn't imagine being enveloped in all day without getting a headache. I will not purchase.
