Another limited edition MAC eyeliner I've fallen in love with! Released with McQueen, Jealous is a very deep, very *rich* emerald green that stops just short of being black. It's smokey, sultry and incredibly stunning. Applies very smoothly without tugging and doesn't smudge or fade on me. I use it sparingly since it's now discontinued. I LOVE this on my brown eyes!

I am lighter than NW15, neutral-toned but leaning towards cool. I wear Make Up For Ever Face & Body Foundation in #38. I have green eyes. I initially wrote a (negative) review for this product 2 years ago, but after those 2 years of use I am formally changing my opinion. This eyeliner, which was limited edition from the Alexander McQueen collection in 2007, is absolutely gorgeous. It is a black eyeliner with an emerald green pearl finish. The green is very subtle, which makes it fantastic for wearing it on the bottom lashline when you want to spice up a neutral eye, but not be too flashy. If you want it to be a more intense green, it's easy to layer a green shadow or pigment (might I suggest MAC Humid?) on top. That being said, there are a couple downsides to this product - the first being that it was limited edition. Secondly, the kohl power formula is notorious for being extra-smudgy, and Jealous is no exception. This is not the eyeliner to wear to a sad movie or a funeral. Also, if you try to smudge the liner out a little for a smokier effect, you will lose a lot of that green pearliness, which is a shame. Despite its limitations, this liner is gorgeous and if you have the chance to get your hands on it, I recommend you take it. I know I will repurchase Jealous if MAC ever releases it again, and I'll definitely be trying more Kohl Power colors in the future. This product was $13.50 and it is not eligible for B2M.

I am so glad I picked this up at a CCO, I am a sucker for greens and this is a lovely shade of dark emerald with dark sparkle. I have not tried this on my waterline because I use Revlon Colorstay in Black Brown on my waterline, it stays very well. I have used this color to line with either champagnes or greys, and it is a gorgeous, very pigmented dark green. It had very nice staying powder on my upper lid with UDPP and eyeshadow, but I haven't tried it on my waterline so I don't know of the staying power there.

This color is gorgeous when you put it on your hand or swipe it but when actually used in a look, it just looks like black eyeliner. It also smudged really bad & quickly from the waterline (went all over my under eye area). Since I was looking for a good green eyeliner, I swapped mine away and I'm sure it will work great for others but I'm just not much of a fan.

This is a gorgeous dark metallic green with a slight gold undertone. It's maybe a shade lighter than Laura Mercier's Antique Jade kohl and a little greener. Swatched next to each other the LM seems a tad bluer. Texture- and staying power-wise I can't really tell the difference between this and MAC's Powerpoints - both apply smoothly and last pretty well. I like paired with a pale gold as a wash on the lid but also with dark forest greens.

Jealous Eye Kohl is such a beautiful liner. I'm using it today with Elite on my lids and humid in the crease. Just like the regular kohls it glided on well on my upper lid. My only complaint is that I couldn't get it to show up well on my lower lid so I had to use a different kohl for that. It is worth keeping around because it really makes the eyes pop and if you don't already have a green liner this is a good one to go for. I wouldn't repurchase because I probably won't use it much and it should last awhile :) Check out my profile, right now I have up pics of the jealous e/k with the green brown pigment :)

One of the few items from McQueen that I brought home (the others being the eye shadows for collectibility), and the only one I truly LOVE! This is a gorgeous emerald green colour. It applies so smoothly and I've had no trouble with is smearing, even on my waterline. On my upper lid I always use UDPP because my eyelids are oily. Beautiful pencil, I'm considering buying a backup!

I tried this on at the counter today - although it is an amazing emerald green it does not last long at all. I didn't buy it because I have bobby brown's version of fluidline - ivy shimmer ink which is the same colour and lasts all day without flaking.

I wasn't planning to get this but when i saw it in person i caved in >_>. Very unique color (imo); black with emerald green pearls. I love how theres not too much color, but just enough. Unfortunatly like the other khol powers, this one smudges a lot (on me esp b/c i've super oily lids). It somehow manages to migrate to the outer corners of my eyes by the end of the day. Guess i'll need to prime with udpp. I normally use gel liner so i dont have much experience with pencils but nonetheless i'm happy i got this b/c i absolutely love the color.

A beautiful, true, emerald green liner. It wasn't close to black at all. Goes on very smoothly and easily. It was one of two things I bought from the McQueen collection, the other being the MSF.
As someone with very oily eyelids, I knew even Power Kohls would smear. Without a good base, this is definitely true. With full eye makeup and using a MAC Paint as a base, the Kohl stayed in place much better and didn't run. It looked really nice against my dark brown eyes. Despite the possible smearing factor, I have been thinking about buying another one since it's a limited edition.

Wow! As an NC42, I'm always looking for makeup that pops! This green + kohl pencil definetly does. I think I'm going to buy a backup! Goes on effortlessly, and has the perfect amount of shimmer.
In contract black karat was too light on my skin tone and after an hour or so, just looked alost brown.
Warning, at least for me, these smudge pretty easily.

Jealous is a pretty vibrant emerald green over black which is incredibly flattering on my dark brown eyes. I love the ease with which this e/l moves, and the staying power is excellent. I haven't gotten any smudging and this is ten hours after application, both during the day and at night, and on combo-oily skin...There is enough life and vibrancy to this shade that it won't get mistaken for a murky black, but it is also dark enough that it won't look too bright or clownish. I am so glad I bought two of these because I have a feeling I will be using this a lot...The more I look at this shade, the more of an beetle's shell iridescence I see which is beautiful. Truly a lovely shade, so lovely I think I have to buy a couple more so I don't run out! UPDATE: I now have three more of these as backups...LOVE the color, and have worn it for the last several days straight...my only tiny gripe is that it tends to fade a bit by the end of the day, so I have to touch it up...I don't encounter this issue with the Powerpoints, nor with my HG Lancome Kohl e/l's...even so, the color is soooooo gorgeous that I'm willing to put up with the fade factor...
UPDATE (2/4/08): This is HG status now. I use this several times a week and absolutely love it...I rarely wear black or brown e/l anymore. Instead, I wear this, Permaplum powerpoint e/l or Stila's Smoky Quartz...they're all just so much fun to wear and they all compliment my dark brown eyes.
The only gripe I have is the softness of the pencil. It's not as bad as the powerpoints, but still pretty soft which necessitates more frequent sharpening than I would like (Stila is actually the worst).
If you love greens like I do, you must try this!!
