This is a great product for dry and over processed hair, I put it on after towel drying before blow drying. Only will see results when heat is applied to the hair. Love it for longer hair.

Had high hopes for this one. Sadly, this just doesn't work for me. I have thick, long, partially bleached hair and the ends are really dry at the moment. After using this I see no difference in my hair. I gave it two months. Now back to Redken Anti-Snap.

Maybe it depends on the type of hair or how you use it, but it just makes mine feel dryer. I've tried it as a leave in styling product and before using straighteners but not impressed so far...

For those of you buying this as a 'leave-in' you are not reading up on the product before buying.
It is NOT a leave-in, it IS a THERMAL lotion to put on your hair AFTER towel drying. Of course if you buy it as a leave-in you WILL be disappointed.
I use this after towel drying on my fine wavy hair. As you blow-dry even on a low setting the luxe feel of your hair afterward is amazing. It seems to help straightening even though it's not advertised as much though it does protect from heat.
The feeling on the hair isn't very silicone based to the touch which is great. No more than 1-2 squirts of product is good enough for my long hair (mostly through the last half of my hair).
I choose this product over any serum as it seems to conserve moisture. I usually use a purple shampoo for my blonde, the All Soft Conditioner and then this.
Lasts for AGES.

the smallest one was on sale for 2 bucks at ulta, and i thought hey what the heck and it is amazing

Great product! I use this after I shower only on the ends, where my hair is damaged from highlights, and the occasional In-Styler. All it takes is about 2 pumps- rub evenly in both hands, and apply to the ends. (I read many reviews stating the product was too heavy and made hair limp. Not the case! If you achieve those results, you are using too much product, ladies!) I found this to be one of the best products I have ever used (after trying hundreds of conditioners- both rinse-out and leave-in). Found that it transformed my hair to a silky smooth texture. My HG!

Ok, so i used this few months ago, its good but its not a miricle, I have. I have typical cacucian hair, very thick, buffy and unruly if not kept under control. This product did make my hair softer, i would usually put it in when i towel dry hair and then blow dry, it wouldnt calm the frizz down, but soften my hair. I guess if you are looking for a product that will take out the frizz and calm your hair down, this product wont do...

It's Okayy I guess? It does leave my hair a little bit softer than without it...but it doesn't detangle well or keep any frizz at bay..and Idk if it really protects all that well from heat styling. Would not repurchase..there are much better leave ins.

absolute rubbish, I can find better leave ins at the supermarket for a quarrter of the price that this costs.
doesn't detangle, doesn't moisturise, doesn't add shine and I dont think it protects from heat styling either.

Nope. I don't understand all of the positive reveiws out there, I have naturally curly, blonde hair that I blow dry and straighten regularly. I have had this product for a few months, and keep trying to give it a chance, experimenting with using more product/less product etc but i have come to realise that it isn't gonna happen. My hair is quite dry, but this product made my hair feel dryer, and as if it had a powdery build up on it. It didn't feel bouncy and clean, but not oily...just stiff. As for heat protection, it made my hair feel more brittle than ever. I will be sticking to my kerastase ciment themique for clean feeling silkly hair.

I am generally not loyal to one product...I am always looking for the next best thing. Well, my search is over for a great styling product. I have thick, wavy hair that I like to blow dry smooth - not stick straight. This product works wonders on me. Makes my hair smooth, shiny and eliminates most frizzies. It's all I've used for the past year. I like it better than Morocanoil. Cheaper too! I usually finish my style with Kiehl's Groom with Silk.. Really great shine and frizzy control.

I googled for the perfect HG leave-in and came across this after reading a few shining reviews.
Unfortunately, I got really disappointed, as it did -nothing- for my coloured, very dry, hair.
After applying it and blow drying, I cant really tell if I've used a product or not, and the promised softness is nowhere to be seen.
I used the entire bottle as I thought it might work wonders over time, but no. Found that I had to pull the pump off the bottle to get the last goo out, though!
I'm swedish and Redken is quite expensive here... I would never spend money on this again.
Although after finding MakeupAlley and all the brilliant reviews, I'm off to get Kerastases Nectar Thermique... Hoping for a better, softer, sleeker result!

This product really does what it says! I have fine-ish 4a/b natural hair. I used the Velvet Whip to blow dry and it was the fastest, best blow dry I've ever had. My hair is sooo soft and shiny! I couldn't stop touching it. And I love the scent! I will definitely repurchase!

If you have very fine hair like me and i have alot of wave in it also I find that all soft does what it says it makes my hair soft .. too soft sadly.. I really wanted to love this product but it just makes my hair limp and lifeless ..

im on my third bottle of this product, i cant get enough!
i found it randomly at a professional hair-care store and since then, i havent looked anywhere else for a leave in treatment. my hair is quite damaged and sensitive from years of heat styling, and this product has helped my hair so much. if you put it in while your hairs damp and leave it to air-dry, your hair will be so soft youll be running your fingers through it all day.
i thought that it wouldnt last me very long because the containers quite small, but each container has lasted me around 6 months to a year, and i use 1-2 pumps each time i wash my hair. very good product, worth the extra few dollars.

I use the whole redken all soft range but this is definetly my favourtie product.
Ive tried sooo many leave in's and never found one that makes my hair feel so soft and silkly. The last inch or so of my hair at the ends can get so course/dry but this just seems to infuse it with softness and moisture.

I have the thickest hair you will find anywhere... Most likely. I had major problems with frizz and just having it be soft and shiny. Then I tried this product. I am in LOVE with it. It is the most amazing effects out there. The ONLY *only* problem I found is that it is not easily to do and updo or styling. Besides that 5**** all the way! It leaves your hair unbelievebly shiny and soft. I got so many compliments when I used it for the 1st few times. You'll looooove it!!

ETA: Pump finally worked this week. Now I truly do love this product.
I love this styling cream/leave-in conditioner. It comes in a bottle with a pump, and the pump, so far, has not worked, so I've had to open the thing up and take some of the cream/lotion from the tube, but I only use a small amount so it's no big deal. But the product allows me to blow dry my short, wavy, layered, bobbed hair into a sleek look which is natural (forget the flat-iron!). The All Soft line is shaping up to be great for me, and I will re-purchase. I must add, though, that this product is probably not for dry and damaged hair. My hair is healthy and the cream makes it look more shiny and definitely full of body but smoothed out. A great product!

I have long, highlighted hair that is very frizz-prone and needs extra conditioning to keep it healthy. This is one of the BEST products I've found for blowing it out straight (I never flatiron, tho I'm sue it's great for that, too). I use a dime to nickel size amount, and when I first put it on it feels like nothing, but the moment the heat is applied, it changes, and my hair turns into super-shiny, almost frizz-free silk, that stays that way for a couple of days. I only have to use the drier very briefly with this stuff which is much better for my hair. It also doesn't flatten my hair and leave it limp like the usual 'cone products do. No offensive smell, either. Awesome!
