I bought this gloss when it was 50% off at Bath and Body. At $4, I couldn't pass it up. The cherry side looks like a gorgeous red in the tube; however, when I put it on I was surprised to find it looked like hot pink on my lips. I've realized that if I apply just a dab with my finger the color doesn't look as garish, and goes pretty well with my overall skintone. I think I like the vanilla side better, as I find myself dabbing on the clear gloss as a topcoat for lipstick or on my bare lips for a little extra shine. I use it fairly often. Overall, I'm happy that I bought this. It's a nice addition to my lip gloss collection.

I received a BN Cherry Pie/Vanilla Ice Cream lip gloss duo recently from a friend, and I really like the Cherry Pie side.
The Cherry Pie side gives this thin/liquid-like gloss, that lasts for awhile (even when it "comes off" there's a nice stain left behind), and the smell is actually very cherry pie!
I agree that if I go crazy with the Cherry Pie side it will be overwhelming, but a light coat gives such gorgeous red color, I love it!
My only real complaint is the Vanilla Ice Cream side smells horrible! I just realized how bad it smells tonight.
I applied both glosses (first Cherry, then Vanilla to top it) and I kept smelling this unpleasant scent.
I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, I kept sniffing myself, thinking it could be my clothes (I'd just gotten out of the shower) or the TBS Mango body butter sample I'd just finished off, but no, it was this product.
The scent was nothing remotely close to vanilla anything, much more vanilla ice cream
What's funny is I don't find the Vanilla Ice Cream splash to be a bad product, but the gloss in that scent reeks!

This is a double-sided gloss that has a cherry pie-scented gloss on one side and a vanilla ice cream-scented gloss on the other. The cherry pie side is a bright-ish cherry pink color that is a bit too much for my fair skin - but the color is still nice and would be perfect for those who don't mind a brighter, more bold color. The gloss and shimmer aspect are both outstanding though. The vanilla ice cream side is a clear-ish, white-ish glimmery gloss and is really nice as well - it helps to tone down the bright color of the cherry pie side. The two smell great together, and this gloss is not at all chapping or drying. The gloss lasts a bit. I bought two of these because I love the cherry pie scent so much!

Eh. This smells good, but the color is just too horrendously bright pinkish-red. Not a pretty girly cherry red, but clownish. The idea of putting it on lightly with your finger is a good one, but then you have glossy red fingers to deal with. I definitely wouldn't buy again. However, I do find it has great lasting power for a gloss.

I think this smells SUPER good, way better than the lotion version! The color is a bright, but slightly sheered cherry red. It's very true to the name meaning the red is not really a mature red, but a very pink based juicy red. If you find it a bit much try to use a very small dash of the red and use your finger to disperse the color on your lips. It will probably turn into a deep pink, but will be much more sheer. Do be aware that both sides are gloss nonetheless. I would have preferred if the cherry side was a lip stain (dries onto the lip, leaving no transferable residue), but we cannot have it all. The gloss is a little less sticky than a MAC lipglass I think.
I also think there is a slight sweet taste to the lipgloss. I washed my lips before I put it on, but sugar from the gum I was eating earlier might have lingered?
If you would like more in depth info about the coloring read Yakkoooew's review. It's fab'!
Anyhoo, I bought this on sale for 50% off [4 USD instead of 8 USD], which is two dollars a side! To be honest 8 USD is a bit much for something like this because the white side is going to be contaminated if you use it on top of the cherry side. So you'll end up with pink on both sides. However, for the price of 4 USD this is great! I would definitely purchase another one. Actually, I may just go down there tomorrow and purchase another one. It's cheap so I can always have one in my purse!
They're great, just go smell them! I would not test them though, because that tester is in NO way sanitary. You could catch a cold or get a cold sore, eww.
EDIT:
Okay, I jumped the gun. After a few more usages I don't think I like it as much. The color is not as complimentary as I would like on my NC25 skintone. I wouldn't repurchase because there's a lot of product and I don't really think I will use it that much. It is good, just not great. Still, for 4 USD, you should pick one up if you can.

I ate it. Kidding, kidding....no, really, it's an amazing gloss. The cherry gloss is a sheer red color with the ice cream a sparkly white. Really stunning, the smell and tastes are wonderful. I put the cherry on 1st, then layer on the ice cream over it, giving my lips a moderate pink sparkly, mouth-watering treat. I would repurchase for the fact of just having it for a good while incase it becomes unavailable. Besides, you get about 7 gallons to a single tube, so I think you'll be good to go till 2015.

I thought I would add my review on here because I love this gloss set so much, I went out and got two of them! (Yes, they were both free with coupon, but I still had to buy something to get them! :o)
The color is very very cherry red, but I am fair with golden/ash highlighted blonde hair right now, and the red gloss is actually a lip tint (as it says on the package) versus a straight-up gloss-- basically, it ends up being a cherry stain for my lips!! I did not care for the SDCP lotion on me, but I put some of this tint on my lips and I was sold! It's a more true cherry pie scent to me than the lotion is-- more sweet cherry, less crust. The shimmers in the tint are barely noticeable on the lips-- the shimmers are basically the same color as the tint itself so they are not meant to stand out.
But for people who love shimmer (like me), you can add the vanilla ice cream shimmery gloss on top of the tint-- it smells wonderful! Again, the BBW Vanilla Ice Cream splash did not work for me, but I LOVE the scent of this ice cream gloss! It turns the cherry red tint into a very wearable shimmery lighter red (it almost hints of pink)-- and the scent of the two together is just mouth-watering!!
Alone, the vanilla gloss reminds me of a yummier, smoother TBS Vanilla Spice lip balm-- not as shimmery as you'd expect from looking at the tube.
Considering how pigmented the cherry tint is, there is a lot of product in the tube-- I am sure I will use up the vanilla part of the tube before I use up the cherry end. But I can use the cherry tint with my MAC Lustrewhite lustreglass, or my Dior Sorbet Meringue gloss, and it would give a similar effect (the Dior would be more opaque/rainbow sparkly) but it would be way more sticky than the vanilla gloss.
The tint and gloss combo, while thin enough for my tastes (I am currently against sticky lip gloss) wears well on my lips, and does not leave any residue behind. My hair would probably still stick to the gloss a little bit, but the stickiness of the combo is nowhere close to MAC lipglass/lustreglass.
My advice would be to see if the store has a tester you can use in this product. I know the bright tint will not work on everyone; the vanilla ice cream gloss does tone down the cherry a bit and makes it more wearable, so you might want to try the combo before you make a final decision. This cherry is actually more wearable for me than are brown/beige glosses (I have very pigmented lips so browns tend to turn muddy on me), which is why I chose this tint over the Pecan Passion or Pumpkin Pie Paradise glosses. (IMO, the Pecan tint didn't smell as good as the SDCP, but it did taste better-- the SDCP tint doesn't really have any outstanding taste to it. I didn't try the Pumpkin Pie tint so I can't comment on the taste/smell of that one.)
Lastly, this SDCP gloss set (especially the tint alone) will transition nicely to spring/summer, when bright lip colors are more wearable in general. This fall/winter, I'm going to wear this tint basically to please myself, because usually I don't wear such bright lip colors in the winter. Again, the vanilla ice cream shimmer gloss makes the bright color more wearable-- much more wearable than, say, MAC Pink Poodle or MAC Lychee Luxe in the wintertime. :o)

This is a double-ended lip gloss with a Simply Divine Cherry Pie lip tint on one end and a Vanilla Ice Cream shimmer topping on the other.
* Color: Sparkly red in the tube. This goes on as a darkish hot pink/fuchsia or something on my somewhat lightly pigmented lips. Ugh. So 80's and ridiculous. This doesn't work at all on for me. This lip tint isn't that sheer, either. It slightly stains the lips after it's been wiped off. I uploaded a photo of this on my skin in my pictures on here - the Cherry shade is on the far right.
* Scent: Sweet cherries with a hint of a bakery/pie note. Maybe not as tart as pie cherries, but that might not be a bad thing.
* Taste: Doesn't have much of a taste from what I can tell.
* Texture: Smooth. Not too sticky, though I'd imagine that hair would still get stuck to this on the lips. This has a little bit of a thickness to it, which probably helps it stay on longer.
* Vanilla Ice Cream shimmer topping: A sheer white gloss with lots of sparkles. It makes the lip tints look a little more sheer and sparkly when applied on top. This smells like weet sugary vanilla. In a way this stuff does smell like vanilla ice cream -- that cheapy fake vanilla stuff. The Vanilla shade is on the left in the swatch photo in my profile.
* Packaging: Double ended tube with doe foot applicators. This one has a cute red middle. The paper that comes in the plastic bag is very adorable as well. I love the glitter and image of the cherry pie. Very gift-able.
* Price: $8 full price.
* Repurchase?: No, I'm planning on returning the one I have now. The color looks so awful on me. =( I would only recommend this to people who can pull off bright/neon lip colors.
