I find the Superbalm Moisturizing glosses to be nice but I don't really find them to be anything special at the same time. The consistency is very thick, goopy, but not too sticky. It is kind of moisturizing but nothing amazing or extremely different other tube glosses out there honestly... Apricot is a gorgeous peach color in the tube however shows up almost clear on the lips. These are unscented and tasteless which can be a good or bad thing, frankly I rather it have a subtle scent.. because it is completely scentless I can detect a bit of a waxy smell at times that you would from any unscented lip product.
I feel like I've used very similar tube glosses from brands like Philosophy, Liplicious, Beauty Rush or even drugstore brands like NYC, Maybelline.. These are nice and are offered in an array of subtle colors but it just isn't unique enough for me to pay the price.

This is the least sticky of the Clinique glosses, I think. It has no odour or flavour, which is a plus. The tube is designed so that no applicator is needed -- the product is squeezed out instead, so nothing can ever enter the tube. The colour is transparent, but once on the lips, gives a shine that somehow enhances your own lipcolour underneath. It is moisturizing so can be worn on its own, or as a gloss overtop of lipstick.

My very first cosmetic was Air Kiss Lip Gloss, and i used it every day until they put sunscreen in it. I couldn't stand the smell, the taste, or the fact that I was eating sunscreen. So after trying several different lines I gave this a shot and I love it. I read in one of the reviews for one of the Superbalms, that someone wanted Clinique to add sunscreen to these...and I'm thinking, no, no, no...that's the main reason I like it. Very pretty without changing the color of your lipstick, doesn't leave some strange color on your lips after you've had it on for awhile...and it lasts forever, using it several times a day. I have also used the Grapefruit, but it did cast a more blue pink shade to my lips, so I prefer this one. It's neutral with the right amount of pink and peach. Definitely an HG gloss for me.

A fantastic texture, almost glazes the lips with a subtle hint of colour and sheen. A sheer, transparent nude with a great moisturizing quality. A barely there, natural shade.

My mom gave me this because she bought a cream from them and it had a bonus. I have this in 01 Apricot. It is verrrryyy light on my lips yet I feel it is really popping out. After about 2 hours of re-applying 2 times, my lips feel amazing. I usually apply my carmex lip treatment on before bed and my lips still do feel a bit chapped when I wake up. OMG, this is my new HG, a 2 in 1 lip treatment. Superbalm does apply wierdly, it has a weird consistency and is a bit stickly. It'll slide!

UPDATE: WOULD NOT CONSIDER DUE TO ANIMAL TESTING FOR CHINESE MARKET 17/02/2012 I was excited to try this gloss. It is moisturizing and does give a nice shine but It's totally transparent on my lips. I was expecting at least a hint of color. Thankfully I got it with a GWP. I will not purshase the full size. I may have a look at the other colors because it does feel good on my lips.

I have yet to purchase a Superbalm lip color that I don't like. Tis true that Apricot goes on almost clear, just the sheeret hint of peach, but that is why I like it. It gives the a glossy shine that I adore on its own or over lipstick. Plus the superbalms are excellent for dry lips.

I've had this product for so long and there's still so much in the tube. Well, that's a lie I believe like 2 summers ago I lost the tube and had to buy another...but still 2 years is a while. It's my go-to gloss. It's very sheer, not much color to it but I just like how it feels on and my lips are really red/pink in general so it mutes them a bit. It's also great for mixing with other colors. Definitely great and well worth the purchase, lasts for so long!

I bought this with a gift card after hearing a lot of good hype about it. Overall, I'm very luke warm about it.
It definitely is moisturizing, but I don't really care for the color. It's really light and barely shows up on my lips (I'm medium fair). I like the glossiness of it, but that's about it. Although, I tried on some darker colors in the store and found them all to be pretty sheer in coverage, so I knew that when I bought it. I mostly got it for the moisturizing factor and the pretty sheen it left on my lips.
I don't find it to be any more moisturizing than my cheap drugstore lip glosses, though. Maybe a tad more, but not a dramatic difference. I like the tube packaging which makes it easy for travel, but in the end, I think I'll let this one run its course and not repurchase. To me, it's pretty average for a 14 dollar lipgloss.

Super moisturizing but color too light to show up on my lips. Nevertheless, it still looked good because it gave me super glossy lips.
BUT the tube I had went rancid on me in a month! Thank goodness I got it at a sale, so I am not complaining.

It showed up as a subtle peach color on my lips. It was shiny without glitter and scentless. The best thing was that it was very moisturizing. The slanted tip also makes applicant very easy. Now I want to try the other colors!

Amazing! The color is perfect! I am a fair-skinned Caucasian, and the color matches my lips very well, enhancing the color just enough to look pretty, yet natural. The Superbalm takes amazing care of my lips! I love that it is unscented, too! I hate scented lipglosses!

First of all, I must say that Clinique has the best glosses : very light texture and luxurious shine. Love the Apricot colour! The fact that it has no smell is a big plus. Staying power is also good.

This is a very pretty warm pink, more like the blush on a ripe apricot than the actual colour of an apricot. On me, it brightens my lips up but still looks very natural.
The texture of this is very smooth and balm-like, but it has just enough stickiness to give it good lasting powers.

What can i say about this?
Always had problems with finding the right lipgloss - either its too thick and sticky, or the color is just not right...
I got this apricot color as a free gift (cos i bought the clinique moisture surge). Though i must say at first i thought its just another one of those lippies....then i read the label on the tube 'superbalm'...interesting....must be something good then..
i gave it a try....whoah......it has a nice texture to it....although when u first apply it, it feel sticky, but after a few second, as it starts to settle, the gloss actually feels rather nice, smooth and silky, shiny (without having to put on layers and layers of gloss)..it really does moisturise the lip and it lasts u through drinks..(of cos u cant expect it to last the whole day.).
bcos i got this as a free gift (hence sample size of 7ml) - i actually like the sample size..cos it fits nicely in the purse!!! very convenient when u're too lazy to bring ur handbag. u can just slot the sample size into your purse! I wonder if u can buy it in this size for the lipbalm? would be very nice indeed.
i would definitely get a new one when i finish this sample size! not sure about the pricing - but with clinique, i think their prices are quite reasonable.

I love SUPERBALM, they’re one of my new obsessions! You get a nice glossy colour and fab moisturizing benefits in one product.
The colour is sheer & not very sticky. APRICOT is possibly my favourite shade. A beautiful peach shade that looks wonderful with my nw10/15 colouring. It’s not too bright & as it’s sheer you don’t have to be too brave to wear it.

I used this for a few months and it was just ok. I felt like it was very thick, and not very moisturizing- I didn't like the feel on my lips. I also found it did have a slight odor and would have preferred a subtle fragrance to that smell. The color looked clear on my lips, which was fine, although it was hard to tell how long it lasted.
However, after two months this product began to smell like something died inside it. I'm not sure why... but I was afraid to put it on my lips and had to throw it out. I guess I am just not a big fan of this type of packaging, since this is the 2nd lip gloss tube to go bad on me (the other was Neutrogena).

Colour: Apricot is a neutral, creamy peachy pink in the tube, but on my pigmented lips it looks clear. I like to use it on top of peachy lipsticks.
Texture: It's a thick, but not too sticky gloss with reasonable lasting power - it 'll last through a drink but not food. It's not drying, but I don't find it as moisturising as the old Superbalms.
Packaging: Bigger tube than the old version (15ml), see-through with a silver cap.
Price (UK): £10
Overall, a good gloss but not enough colour on me, going to try Raspberry next :)
Me: About NW10-15 (very pale, cool-toned), quite pigmented lips

Superbalms are the best thing to hit the Clinique counter since... um... pretty much anything. I have a love-hate relationship with Clinique--some of their products have been life-changing, HG material (Dramatically Different Gel) and some have been a horrid waste of money (Turnaround Lotion). Fortunately, the new and improved Superbalms are amazing and well worth a stop by the Clinique counter.
The texture is what makes this a winner. I've bought 4 (or is it 5?) Superbalms since their reformulation, and all have an awesome, smooth, not-too-sticky texture that glides onto my lips. They really do condition, too; I've noticed that my lips are softer and less flaky/dry after using these for a while. They last a while too.
Apricot seems rather dull in the tube--it's a matte apricot/peach color. It looks awesome with other neutrals and has become my go-to color when I wear brown or taupe e/s. I find myself using this a lot more often than I thought I would. It's subtle but really pretty on.
I'd give this 5 lippies if Clinique had added sunscreen to this. The texture and subtle-yet-pretty colors make the Superbalms a great addition to my stash.

Holy crap, why did I wait so long to try these? I've heard rave reviews on Superbalms, but put off trying them for quite a while. Recently I was at a Clinique counter and they had a 4-pack of mini Superbalms. I liked all the colors, and it was only $25, so I picked it up. Wow! Every color has been a winner for me. When I bought these, Apricot was the color I was least attracted to. It's kind of dull in the tube. But I've ended up wearing it more than any of the other shades! It's a really pretty, shiny peach color, perfect for spring and summer. I find the formula very moisturizing and long-lasting for a lip balm. I love the squeeze tube, too. I will be getting more of these!
