I absolutely adore this product! I use it twice a week and it always leaves my skin extremely smooth. Plus it eliminates those little bumps on the back of my arms and since using this product two years ago they have never returned. All in all its fantastic and the cheap price is a bonus too!

This is my favourite body scrub (after Covent Garden The Sanctuary warming sugar scrub) so far. I use it once a week, and it makes my skin super-smooth and soft. It has the right amount of grit and is not too oily.
Even though I have very sensitive skin (and I was a little nervous when I read that the scrub contained sea salt), I haven't had any problems with it so far. I will definitely buy is again and again.

Alright, Soap and Glory, I like this. I like it a lot. Great smell, good ingredients, makes my skin baby smooth. BUT. It annoys the hell out of me that it takes FOREVERRR to get the salt off of me in the shower. I have to re-scrub with a glove every single time to get the salt off. What's up with that? I don't know if it's the salt, 'cause I've never had this problem with sugar scrubs. I am perplexed, S&G, confuzzled.
Will I buy this product again? Maybe. But only if their other non-salt scrubs absolutely suck. I love your scents dearly, S&G. Don't make me do this, you know I don't WANT to boycott Flake Away. We still have a thing going, although she has her faults.

I absolutely love this product! I paid bout €9 for it in Boots. I know you cab get cheaper eg Dove, Palmolive but none of those have ever worked for me! I think it has a great smell aswell as plenty of granules to smooth your skin. I have quite sensitive skin but this did not irritate me one bit. I also found that a little goes a long way due to the numerous granules in the product. Definitely smoothed any rough skin and smelt gorgeous too. Would buy again no problem!

Good scrub! Definitely makes your legs noticeably smoother after use. Not a big fan of the smell, but if you enjoy Miss Dior Cherie then this is for you. Smells EXACTLY like it. Now I really like this product, it's cheap and it works well...but it leaves a really annoying residue inside my shower! definitely annoying. Buuuut whatever, if you want a cheap scented scrub get this, it's really moisturizing and coats your legs afterwards...but in a good way.

I love Soap and Glory products and like the fun packaging, which brightens up my bathroom!
This is a natural coloured, sweetly scented scrub with medium particles. When massaged into damp skin it really softens and smoothes without being too scratchy, and rinses off to leave the body super smooth and soft.
The price is reasonable and a little goes a long way - I've knocked one lippy off as the scent really stays on the skin and some people may not like this, but as I like the smell I'm happy :)

OH MY GOD!!!! I am in love with this stuff. I took a tiny amount and it went SO far. It's like it multiplies when it hits your skin and just keeps going and going. My favourite body scrub has always been St Ives facial scrub, but that doesn't even compare to Soap & Glory. I love how you keep rubbing and rubbing and it never gets watery and vanishes.
When I use this, I turn off the shower. I rub it all over my damp skin (while my deep conditioner sits) and then wash it off. Then I use Clean on Me, followed by Righteous Butter. I can admit it, I am a slave to Soap & Glory.

I am in LOVE with this scrub! I was looking for a good scrub to use on my hands, so when I saw this at Target a few months ago, I bought it on a whim because it was so cheap (the mini-sized one). (It is a body scrub, but I only use it on my hands). Every time I use it, I get super soft hands, and the delicious scent lingers after I use it and rinse.
I went through 2 whole mini-tubs, and saw them on clearance for only 2 bucks at Target today so I bought a couple more. Love this! :)

I love the smell of this! The scrub is also nice and makes my skin really soft. However the negatives are is that it's quite oily and it makes my bath tub really oily and slippery when bits of the scrub fall onto the tub- that's how oily it is! It's also a bit hard to rinse out because of the oiliness. But apart from that I like the way it makes my skin soft and makes it smelly yummy!

Let me preface this review by saying that I am a slave to Soap & Glory products. They are high quality, useful, and affordable products that come in the cutest packaging. I have yet to use anything from the brand that has disappointed me!
Flake Away is an effective body scrub that is also very moisturizing. The consistency is just right and the granules exfoliate thoroughly without being too abrasive. As with all S&G products, the smell is amazing! Slightly sweet and peachy without being overly fruity or cloying. I love using this stuff before shaving my legs to get them as silky smooth as possible. You get a generous amount of product, and a little goes a long way, so it will last you a considerable amount of time.
The pink plastic tub is adorable, but I tend to prefer tubes where the product can be squirted out. The tub packaging has to be kept far away from the shower's spray, or water will get inside. Also, I have long nails and the scrub gets clumped under my nails when I scoop it out. Obviously it washes away immediately but its just a little messy. Still, I love Flake Away so much, this minor flaw is pretty inconsequential. I will be repurchasing for sure!

UPDATE JUNE 2009:
I dont particularly like this anymore , too oily. Leaves you with a film on ur body ( and I got dry skin). Wont repurchase!
I recently got into Soap & Glory , after buying their Scrub & moisturiser in trial versions. I wish they did all their products in mini versions so we can try before we buy the full-version of their products but ... hey!
This scrub is a bit oily in my oppinion , leaving a bit of a film behind but maybe it's just on my skin . For this I decided to give it 4 lippies instead of 5.
Smells devine , and exfoliates pretty well ( from my experience , all scrubs I have used so far are not miracle products to get you rid of all the dead skin and rough patches ... but just a bit of a helping hand to take away your flakes and work on a superficial layer).
The grains of the Scrub are not big and gloopy like some other scrubs , but fine and tiny . I will use this again , maybe in time there will be more visible results ( sometimes we got to be constant in a routine to see a lasting result , dont we? ) . I do recommend it though :-)

They just opened a new Super Target quite near my house and I went to check it out today. Had never heard of this brand or product. But the retro-pink packaging does stand out, so I had to take a look. I bought the Flake Away, mainly for my hands and elbows. It sort of reminds me of that Dead Sea product that they sell in those kiosks in the mall. I like that stuff, but the price of it....I just could never get myself to buy it, no matter how well it works. The Flake Away is $9.99 for a 10.1 US Fl. oz tub....fairly large in my opinion. It contains Shea Butter, Sugar, Peach Seed Powder, Sea Salt and Grapeseed and Almond Oils. I used this on my hands about an hour ago and am very pleased. My hands feel soft and smooth. The smell doesn't bother me in the least...is a very subtle peach smell. I will definately buy this again. Shouldn't have to for awhile though because I only plan on using it once a week on my hands and elbows and then following up with The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector.

I am a new convert to soap and glory. I love the super cute packaging, so vintage! This is my HG scrub, its affordable, moisturises and smooths brilliantly. It reveals brighter looking skin and you doht have to work hard at exfoliating as the granules are quite big and do the job really well. I love the fragrance, as with all s & g stuff. Definitely recommend, you will love!

This is a great scrub at a great price. Since it is available at most Target stores it is easily accesible as well.
Pros: Exfoliates as good as higher end brands and has many moisturizing ingrediants. The granules are large so you don't have to put that much effort in scrubbing. The scent is pleasant and not irritating or does it linger long.
Cons: Packaging will be better as a tube instead of tub. This can be a little too moisturizing almost greasy.
Overall I don't recommend using this everyday. This is an intense scrub with large granules. Most people can use this every few days and get very smooth skin as I do. This is my HG because it is a great price, very moisturizing and leaves my very rough skin baby soft.

Good fragrance-the other reviewers are right: it smells like Miss Dior Cherie. Works fantastically with exfoliating gloves and good value for money.

This is a staple scrub for me, and one of the only sugar-and-oil style scrubs I am comfortable with using. I don't enjoy an oily film being left on the skin, but Flake Away rinses almost clean off. What is left is absorbed by the skin easily, and keeps you soft and protected.
The fragrance of the Soap and Glory is somewhere between Cartier Delices and Miss Dior Cherie. Boozy and flirty, and bound to make you feel like a night out.

Having been a search for a replacement for my hot apple scrub, this one fits the bill. I love how much exfoliation it gives, probably not great for sensitive skin. I don't have to use lotion after my shower which is amazing. i normally don't like a residue on my skin but it feels ok.
The scent is strong, it reminds me of Miss Dior Cherie. I have a sample and compared them, it is weird how alike they smell! Price is great b/c the large tub will last a long time.
My skin feels so soft afterward. Highly recommended trying the small tub first to see if you like it.
