I tried this product because YouTubers were ranting and raving about it. I liked it because it was called the "organic conditioner that actually works" I heard it provided a lot of moister and slip without any buildup. Well, needless to say, I did not experience any of this, nor will I buy this product again. HOWEVER*** The good news, while I picked up this product.. all of the Yes To products were buy one get one half off at Wal-greens. So, I went and got the new Yes To Blueberries Healthy Hair Repair Conditioner. Oh my god. I LOVE THIS CONDITIONER. My 2C type, dry, damaged, coarse, thick, poofy, hair drank this stuff right up. It has great slip and detangling properties as well as mositurizing and repairing elements. If you have hair like mine, consider Yes To Blueberries Healthy Hair Repair over Yes to Carrots conditioner. I'm sure the Yes To Carrots works wonders for girls with other types of hair, but if you have the type of hair that I describe, you might want to scoop this up instead. I LOVE IT.

You really have to put this product in for 3 minutes as it says on the bottle so it can sink in. If you wash it straight away you will not experience the full effect. It's so conditioning and does not leave any residue. It really works better with the shampoo. I will definitely purchase this again after I finish my first bottle.

I love this conditioner :) This retailed for SGD$12.90 for a 500ml bottle. As written on the bottle, 'Blended with Dead Sea Mud, Carrot, Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Melon, Orange & Honey'. Looking at the ingredients, it is mainly made with various food oils instead of generic cleaning chemicals. It is a thick, peachy colour and I will use this generously on my hair after various shampoos, alternating with hair mask every other shampoo washes. It made my hair feels thick and soft, and after blow dry, my hair looks healthy (probably due to its natural ingredients) and straight! It is available at local drugstores, even though I don't know if the drugstores still carry Yes To Carrots brand as I haven't really been looking out for this brand. It is slightly more expensive than other drugstore lines, but I feel that its worth the money and this is significantly better than the Pampering Carrot Juice Shampoo (which I don't recommend). It is packaged in a translucent cylindrical tall container with orange labels, making it easy for storage. I dropped the bottle once, and the cap broke, so everytime when I want to use this product I'll just pour the conditioner out of the neck. However, it does not affect the product in anyway. I like that the manufacturing and expiry dates are printed clearly on the bottle, and it does not get worn out with time. Hence, it is easier to remember to use up this item first. This product expires in three years, which gives users ample time to use this up in this period of time. It is also not tested on animals, and contributes to Yes To Carrots Seed Fund. However, it does smell faintly of carrots and vegetables, so users who are highly sensitive to smells may want to avoid this product. Overall, I am very happy with this conditioner and I have no complaints. I will recommend it to anybody who wants a good conditioner, and repurchase this once I have finished up my collection of conditioners if this is still available locally :)

I snagged a trial bottle of this from the Target clearance bins a couple of weeks ago, and am so glad now that I did. I have extremely oily, thin hair that I normally don't bother to condition, mainly because seemingly everything weighs it down. In the winter however, I use conditioner occasionally because of static issues. The smell of this conditioner is very warm and powdery, which I find pretty comforting. It is also really thick, and looks and feels very much like a deep conditioning treatment. I have instant moisture, and while I feel that my hair is slightly weighed down, it does not look stringy, which has been a constant problem for me with other deep conditioners. My hair feels like it has some bounce and life to it again.
I only use this a couple of times a week, but for drier hair types, I think this would be really nice as a daily conditioner. I'm really happy with this, and I plan on getting the shampoo next.

This is a great hair treatment. Leaves hair soft, and very smooth and manageable. In fact, I've tried $$$ brands like Kerastase and the ones with the Moroccan oils in them and this is better. It's cheap - check out the ingredients list, packed with great things like almond oil cant remember what else, but this is better than the expensive trendy hair treatments I've tried. A great product from a brand Against Animal Testing which is important to me.

I love this. I've searched high and low for hair products from cruelty free companies and it hasn't been easy to find something I really love. Haircare brands that don't test on animals are actually much more limited than makeup brands. Anyway, this conditioner is perfect for me because it detangles wonderfully, and that's a huge must for my hair. It leaves my hair soft, moisturized and not weighed down. I'm so glad I discovered this!

I love this conditioner so much!!!!!!! Over 2 year ago I made the commitment to not use animal tested products. I've been through Nature's Gate,Organix,Giovanni,Shikai and including all the other conditioners in the past and I have never found a better one. It detangles my hair moisturizes it and it's just amazing. It's 16 oz. for $8 but I've heard you can get it cheaper at target. It doesn't smell like carrots, but the smells pretty light and not offensive, It smellls a little like hand soap. It just makes my hair fells so soft and detangled.

Like I said on the Shampoo, I've been using this for a few months along with the shampoo.

I like it enough. It doesn't grease up my hair but it gets the knots and tangles out. It conditions it enough that it doesn't dry out. Others commented on the smell, which doesn't bother me but bothered my boyfriend who tried it, so your mileage may vary on that one.

I'll keep buying the product as long as I don't have any better options for the same price.

I do like this, but I give it 4 lippies because I like the Yes to Cucumbers one better.
This one is SUPER moisturising and can weigh the hair down a little - which is completely remedied in the Yes to Cucumbers range.

The smell is lovely and the moisture level is very high - just a little too much moisture though haha.

this product is so amazing! i bought this based on great reviews & the ingredients looked really good so i just had to try it. it wasn't too expensive but wasn't cheap either, it was about $8. But it was so worth it, it makes my hair super shiny and silky all day! I have curly hair so it tends to be dry & needs definition and this stuff really helps with that. The only thing that I don't like is the smell. At first it's not bad but I'm starting to get tired of it, and I can still smell it after rinsing it out. But other than the smell, I really like this product.

I really like the way this conditions my hair and doesn't weigh it down. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the bottle is a little hard to squeeze if you have slippery hands or your grip strength isn't that great. Other than that, it's a great conditioner, doesn't mess with my color and rinses out in a snap.

This detangles and moisturizes great without silicone or other additives - it's thick and creamy, not really expensive for the amount you get (I've often seen it on sale nearly 1/2 price), and has a decent scent that isn't overwhelming. It doesn't smooth the hair as much as my current favorite conditioner (Live Clean Argan Oil - smooths better than serums/creams/lotions/leave-ins I've used without weighing the hair down at all..though I suspect it could be more deeply moisturizing for processed hair, but they have a mask I haven't tried that'd no doubt be better in that respect), but is the second best silicone-free conditioner I've used so far.
EDIT 6/25/11: Realized that the sodium hydroxide (diluted lye) in this and other products was drying out my hair (it's stopped breaking off since I ceased using products with it), not to mention that getting it in your eyes can blind you (a risk I'm not willing to take with shampoo/conditioner).

Overall this is a good conditioner. Leaves my hair pretty, soft, and shiny. I wouldn't buy again only for the reason that I have found better conditioners that work better for my hair. No complaints though, it works like it says it does.

It's not really a mud mask kind of texture, but whatever. I only purchased this for a dollar since I did an exchange with another product, but I know on retail it runs about 9 dollars after tax which is kind of pricey in my opinion. It wasn't as heavy as I like my conditioners to be. However, I DID wash my hair and then thoroughly condition it with this, slap a shower cap over it, and fall asleep which led to wonderfully conditioned hair when I took the cap off and rinsed it out a few hours later. I'm keeping it around for that, but when the bottle's done I doubt I'll buy it again. It's just too expensive considering that there's other products I've gotten better results with for half the price.

It smells really nice and light, though. If that means anything.

I bought the small sample size bottle of this b/c I have so many conditioners to still go through in my cabinet. Well, after using this a few times I may just have to get rid of the others. I keep coming back to this. It smooths my hair just enough without making it flat or so soft that it wont hold a style. That is what happens with many other conditioners - they soften, but too much! Not this. What a great product. When I tried their mask a while ago I was not blown away b/c it was not moisturizing enough for a mask, but this as a regular conditioner (or even deep conditioning) it terrific. I have not tried their shampoo yet, but I dont know if I will b/c Giovanni shampoos seem to work so well for me that anytime I change, I go back. So I will stick to this conditioner for a long, long time.

I LOVE this conditioner!

I have been trying so hard to avoid silicones, and although this product does contain one, it is really low on the ingredient list, and it doesn't seem to aggravate my hair. I wish that they would remove the silicone, but whatever; my hair loves this stuff!

Yes to Cucumbers was my HG, but after having used this for a few days, I think it may just be my replacement HG.

My hair is pretty damaged and moisture- deprived, so I usually leave my conditioners in my hair for at least an hour every night. When I use this stuff, my hair becomes SO soft, and frizz is diminished substantially. It is a bit thicker than Yes to Cucumbers, so I don't need to use a metric ton of it to saturate my hair, and I can feel it immediately penetrating my hair.

The smell, well, that leaves a little to be desired. I am not at all fond of my head smelling like an old lady doused in baby powder and veggies, but it isn't repugnant enough for me to stop using it, so, eh. Actually, it's kind of growing on me. I smelled my hair intentionally a few times today, so you will probably get used to it.

I just love the way that my hair feels when I use this conditioner, and even though it is less 'natural' than the Cucumber conditioner, I think that I'll stick with it for a little while (if I can keep my product junky tendencies under control). I highly recommend this stuff for dry hair, or if you have a sensitive scalp; it really soothes the scalp, and I don't even have any scalp issues, so it must work well for someone who does. My head feels awesome after using this! It doesn't detangle too well when hair is wet, but once it dries, I can easily run my fingers through it. I follow it with Yes to Cucumbers as a leave in conditioner, and my hair is shiny and bouncy all day long! I'll update if I start to dislike it for any reason.

I love this stuff. I have highlighted, processed hair and it just eats this stuff up. The texture is great and it's super-moisturizing but not over heavy. The scent is light and not particularly exotic, but still pleasant. Good mid-priced product.

Changing to 4 because I've since found better conditioners.

I was looking for a conditioner that would smooth my hair without giving it volume. I have long thick hair and it gets detangled a lot.
This conditioner (i used it without the shampoo or any shampoo at all) made my hair feeling very soft and smooth without being too sleek. It didn't manage to get the worst tangles out but it still did a pretty good job. The thing i loved the most of this product is that after several days i could still smell the fragance in my hair, very nice! It didn't give my hair any noticable shine but i wouldn't mind buying it again because its not expensive, works overall fine and its natural.
