I have tried many different eye creams that claim to help with dark circles and puffiness but they never really do anything. This cream however has worked a treat for me. I do find it a little greasy but with the difference it has made to my eyes I can live with that. Although it is expensive, for me it's so worth the cost and I will definitely be buying it again. Like other reviews have said, a little goes a long way.

this is a very emollient eye cream that I use day or night when my skin needs extra moisture. I like it, but it is not my "holy grail".

I don't have any problems with this cream it doesn't seem to irritate my eyes (unlike the cellar eye cream) and its not too heavy, so I don't get a numb feeling around my eye area. I have been using a lot of eyes creams prior to this one, so a lot of problems I have had have been minimised already and I'm only 25 years old so I don't have any real need for this anyway, but nonetheless its still usable. When it comes to eye creams I think i'm more of a creme de la mer kind of girl. I've also used this on my mum and she too prefers creme de la mer eye creams. This is okay but I can definitely live without it because there are so many reasonable eye creams on the market that are far more competitively priced. I wouldn't especially splash out on this one.

ive been using this for about 4 years now, and im 34 years old. i find that this does help with my eye area - i don't have any wrinkles, and i can actauly feel it "doing something" to my eye area the second it apply it - this may be the cause of irritation in some people. i dont think i have particularly sensitive skin, so it works well for me, and gives me radiant looking eye area.

This is a fantastic cream on mature or very dry skin. After trying it out, I found out that I need a lighter cream, even for night time. I received a sample of this product and used it for a couple of weeks. It really feels great on skin and has definitely improved dryness. It did fill in all the fine lines and my eye area stayed well hydrated all day long. However, I found it too emollient for my skin for regular use, so I will stick with the Cellular Eye Cream. I think in your early 30s, the Anti-Aging line is the way to go, and it is better to progressively move to more advanced lines as your skin changes (Caviar and so on). This has been my experience and what I was advised by the salespeople at LP. If you have a good salesperson, she should recommend you not the most expensive product you can afford, but what your skin needs. If you do most your shopping online, you could try the skin consultation on the LP website. It amazes me to read the reviews of products geared for those already with signs of aging by 19 year-olds. Sure you're free to spend all your allowance on the Platinum Line for all I care, but rest assured, it is not the right product for your skin.

I actually find it quite surprise with all the negative comments from so many people. I think it works well on me, my fine lines are noticeably been reduced eversince I have used this product and I am so glad that i bought this product, as otherwise my dark circle would have been worsed by now.
My friend bought La mer and I bought La Prairie around the same time. She also notice that my eyes area has noticeable difference than before, but not herself, and she then decided to try La Prairie after she finished her LaMer.
I stop using it for a while as I thought I would be fine without it, but I felt and saw my dark circles worsen while I wasnt using it.
I do recommend though...

I've used up the whole jar but i really could not notice any difference. The texture of the cream is nice but that is the only good thing. For that price, simply doesnt worth it.

I believe I had a allergic reaction to this product. My eyelids became swollen and my wrinkles and puffiness got even worse. I was very disappointed after spending that much money; I sent it back so and hopefully will get a refund.

This product is not worth buying at all. It actually damaged my eye area instead of improving it. I received a sample and tried it. I tried it during the day and my eyes would cloud up and water. When I tried it at night my eye area would puff up and I would have deep wrinkles. I am extremely allergic to this product.

I got one of those small travel size jars of this eye cream and used the entire jar. It did provide lots of moisture and it was a beautiful cushion under makeup, but that's it. I was told by a La Prairie BA that this cream has that Essence of Skin Caviar complex in it, so there is no need to layer that serum under this eye cream. That's a plus as it saves you $110.00 for the serum. I do like the fact that it has no mica in it like Cellular Radiance Eye Cream which plays up the skin texture under the eyes which is not the best thing for over-40 eyes. I don't like the fact that this cream has petrolatum in it, why does this company insist on putting it in their eye products? It just contributes to my puffiness issue. For this reason I would never buy the full size. I am LOVING Elysee's Youthspan Eye Cream right now, it feels a lot like this LP cream and it's only 1/10 the price of this product. HA!

I don't think this was really worth the buck. Although I only purchased the sample sachets on eBay. I found it to be too heavy and oily for my eye area and instead of making it look better it actually made my eye area look bad, I even got a bad comment right after putting this on. I will never re-purchase this cream. There are other least expensive eye creams out there that actually work. But not this one. Sorry La Prairie.

Being 34 now I decided to pamper my eye contour and I bought this eye cream with the Caviar eye essence hoping to start a wonderful eye care ritual. I don't have major issues with my eye contour. I have fair skin so I have a bit of circles but not very dark and I get undereye puffiness only when waking up, which usually disappears totally by midday. I have couple of fine lines, but no major issue there as well.
I started to use the eye cream alone (without the essence) and it burnt my under eye immediately ( I did not put the cream near my eyes). I went on for 2 days and my under eye started reddening and the burning feeling became worse. I stopped using it for a week and applied instead the caviar essence, first alone and then with a sample of the cellular eye contour cream and it did not irritate my skin but it seems it prevented the morning undereye puffiness disappearing completely (I think it is the caviar essence).
When I started again with the caviar eye cream, it did not burn any more (I used it with the essence) but the puffiness remained. And then, after a couple of days, I got millia !
The caviar cream and the essence both disappointed me deeply and the outrageous price (about 500 USD together!!) is absolutely not justified.
I just gave both products to my mother hoping it would be more suitable for her. Will update about it.

This is definitely the best eye cream that I have used. In recent history, I have used La Mer and Amore Pacific eye creams. I noticed no significant difference while using Amore Pacific. In fact, it seemed to have clogged my pores. It didn't really penetrate as well many other eye creams. La Mer burned my eyes/eye area and I didn't see a difference. La Prairie is just right.
I used to have a few complaints about my eye area before using this product. Now, I don't complain about my eyes at all. They look great! I guess I have found my HG eye cream. Now, I have to figure out how I am going to continue this expense.

Tried a sample and holy cow this burned when it went in my eye. I had to splash cold water in my eye. I noticed something pretty amazing though - my under eye felt silky smooth and was completely unlined and looked like my eyes did in their 20's. I had started seeing super faint lines and slightly dry texture under there but not after I had to splash on water to rinse out my eye.
But then I found out how much it cost. No thanks. But it does work - but for that price you should invest in botox instead.

Woke up two days after beginning to use this product with huge bags under my eyes. My undereye area was also very irritated. I brought the product back for a refund and found that the salesclerk was not surprised to hear that I'd had a bad reaction. The new "anti-age" eye cream by La Prairie was even worse; my entire eye area swelled, as though I'd gotten giant hives. I have no idea what La Prairie has done to its anti-age eyecare products, as I'd used the old age-management eye lotion for many years, with good results. I continue to use the toner, moisturizers and AHA. The eye care products have changed, however, and for me that change was disasterous. I looked like I'd aged 10 years and been punched in the eyes. Take care!

Just ok. I expected a little more action for the money ($$$$$) and realized that I received as much satisfaction from Lancome products. I was disappointed.
