This has to be one of my all time favorite eye shadow shades.
It's a perfect grey color that makes my grey eyes pop.
It can be worn as an only color on my lid or with darker crease shade, or some days I'm using it as a crease shade (I'm very pale, so it works as a crease color on me). I always put it on my lower lash line too.
It's so soft, creamy and blendable, but not powdery. Amazing quality eye shadow.
I love the packaging as well. It's beautiful.
Urban Decay's single eye shadows are gorgeous. I've had worse experience with the quality of some eye shadows that are on palettes.

Love this eyeshadow and the shade Revolver and ABC Gum. Urban Decay discontinued Revolver so I'm stocking up as much as I can. Bought two on Ebay. The reason I love Revolver is that it's a matte gray shadow that isn't too dark or too light. Doesn't emphasize the wrikles in these 40-something's eyelids. Staying power is magnificent. One of the few eye shadows that I use entirely up! I have gray blue green eyes and browns make me look tired and sick. Grays are the best neutral for me without making me look washed out. Great for daytime wear without looking too smokey. Use all over or just in the crease. Please Urban Decay bring it back. Nothing compares. I've tried Makup Forever #33 shadow which is close but doesn't have the statying power and is too dark. Revolver is just right!!

As a lover of most other UD matte shadows, I was curious to try this one. In the pan, it looks like a light, dove-grey color. However, when applied, it is a lot darker! Not crazy smoky grey dark, just a nice deep neutral grey that looks great in the crease. This can be used on its own, or it looks great as a blending color in the crease if you have another deeper color going on in the crease. This is $17 on the Urban Decay website.

I love UD's matte shadows so much, I want to marry them. The're true-to-pan, silky-smooth and last all day over eye primer. On me, Revolver appears as a pale, cool-toned gray (NW15 for reference). This is a subtle color, which makes it quite versatile. I typically wear Revolver layered under Sephora's Aspen, a shimmery, silver-white shade. Also handy for toning down darker shades and blending. NOTE: It's getting harder to find UD matte shades as most of them have been discontinued. I found Revolver on allcosmeticswholesale.com for about half the retail cost.

Love this shadow! I was actually looking for a nice grey for a very long time, and I finally found it in UD Revolver. The texture is awesome, and it has just the right amount of pigmentation.

Though I'm normally not a huge fan of Urban Decay, their matte formula beats MAC by a mile. I was really surprised at how smooth the texture is to the touch! And even better, it applies exactly the same as it appears in the pan. Revolver is everything I hoped it would be. It's perfect for smokey eyes but it's also perfect for the daytime too. My only complaint is the packaging. Not so much the design, it just feels cheap and easily breakable.

Urban Decay has the best matte eyeshadow formula smooth and easy to blend. Unfortunately I found Revolver (stone gray) to be a very cool toned gray, that turned a blue-gray on me.

For reference I'm a NC/NW 25

Let me start out by saying I ONLY wear gray eyeshadow. I have a huge collection of all the shades of gray, I am so exciting right? That being said, I just don't like this eyeshadow. It's chalky and flat looking on the eyes, gives brown eyes no sparkle. It didn't make me look bad, it's just bad compared to all the other grays I have in my collection. Comparable/dupe for L'oreal smokey eyes quad of 4 grayish shades but not as good! I had been wanting to get this one for so long, but it just didn't work out ;(

Revolver is a wonderful clean grey matte. UD's matte formula is unbeatable, applying like butter and wearing all day. I was in search of a good grey, but what I got was a fantastic grey.

Fabulous color of grey matte eyeshadow. It is beautiful worn alone as a wash over the entire lid & crease and equally as lovely on crease alone. It is a dream to apply and the matte finish makes me want a matte UD eyeshadow in all of their colors. UD is one of the best in all finishes of eyeshadow. It has some subtle plum undertones in this. For reference is I am NW15, blonde blue eyes.

This is my first foray in Urban Decay shadows. I am a Mac girl. I am so underwhelmed by the pigmentation of this shadow. Yes, it's a neutral gray. But, it just fell totally flat on me. I had UDPP on and I kept having to build up, and build up to get even moderate intensity from this. It's going back to Sephora.

This is a perfect color for a smokey eye. When applying it it feels like silk on your lid. The texture is so incredibly soft and that makes it so easy to blend and smoke out. Since it is a matte shadow it gives a great color due the great pigmentation. You just have try this out!

i have been thinking about getting a nice grey eyeshadow for some time, but i never found anything that was exactly it. everything was too silvery or even too taupey, but since revolver is matte, it's perfect. the color is a mid-tone grey, right between black and white. the matte texture is to die for, completely soft and buttery and sooooo easy to blend. i am in love.

After a bad experience with UD's Illegal matte shadow, I swore off UD's mattes for some time. Turns out that Revolver is the perfect grey for my skintone. It's not too blue, silvery, or ashy. On my skin, it works well as a wash or paired with colorful shadows or taupes. Buttery smooth, excellent blendability, and very flattering. The texture is not powdery at all: It's pigmented but can be worn sheerly or built up heavily. This and UD's matte in Secret Service are my favorite from the line. It's hard to come across clear, mid-tone greys and browns that look great with nearly everything. I want one brown and one grey I can blend with my pastel, shimery, metallic colors, not 10 variations of one color family. If UD made more colors there'd be no contest. Bobbi Brown's mattes are chalky and overpriced compared to these.

Wow, nice pot. But the color is a problem. I just cant find how it can flatter me. It is just too unnatural color for the nude eye look I do and it realy does not work well for smokey look either, not that I really am a big fan of it anyways, I just always end up looking muddy. I really honestly cannot put my finger on it, it just looks bad on me. I am green eyed pale blonde, I much prefer the matte shade called Illegal. It is great rosy nude for my crease when I do my naked eye winged liner thing. EDIT: I found the way to work this: I apply as usual but the ugly flat look is avoided by adding a nice silver colored pencil next to the upper eye lashes. And this actually makes this shadow a bomb. Wow thats a great step up from utter dull to the gentle fairy like glam.

Strangely enough, this is the eyeshadow that got me turned on to Urban Decay.

I was looking for a gray eyeshadow. Not a shimmery silver gray, or a grayed-out plum, or a light taupe. Just plain, flat gray. I finally found it in Revolver.

This is a very simple, clean basic gray. I can see how it might be difficult to work with if gray doesn't suit you, but if you're on a mission for gray - this is it!

Revolver is a true soft grey matte shadow. I don’t see any blue, green or other undertones. It looks quite pale and flat in the pan but it comes out a bit greyer on my eyelids (which are a touch oily). The look is not chalky at all which can still happen with matte shadow even if you have oily lids. I prefer to wear one block colour on my eyelids and then wear eyeliner, so I like this shadow for this purpose but I don’t love it. Looks nice against my brown eyes but is not wow-worthy. I think this is, however, an excellent must-have colour if you are into blending lots of colours together because it is a perfect neutral which will go with any other colour and help to add depth and smokiness. My benchmark for eyeshadow is MAC and I couldn’t find a non-dark, matte grey in their range (Scene was the closest to what I was looking for but seemed a bit darker than mid-grey) which is why I bought this (my first UD product!). I find the packaging a bit cheap and plasticky feeling, and since this costs £11 in the UK (1.4g/0.05USoz), I think it is quite overpriced. But still, this is a unique enough shade to warrant buying, as matte but non-chalky soft grey is hard to find in my view.

I had lusted after this for a long time before it finally became mine, and i was so disappointed! I love the color- I love all grays and the matte stone shade was beautiful- in the pan at least, not on me. I could not get anything out of this, no matter how much i layered. It just started looking dusty. I tried and tried, but I could not make it work for me, no matter how badly I wanted it to. I still gave it 3 lippies because it is a beautiful and unique shade and I wish it worked on me. :( I have no problem with other UD mattes, but this one (the one I wanted most) was a bummer.

I was looking for a matte grey shadow that was a touch lighter than MAC's Scene. Revolver was exactly what I had in mind.
Gorgeous mid-grey matte that's not flat, powdery or dull looking. It blends so easily.
Looks fabulous with pinks & a darker colour on the outer corner (MAC's Seedy Pearl & UD Perversion go really well with it) or used as part of a smokey eye.
Fantastic grey shadow.

I'm a medium skin tone girl with yellow/olive tones. I'm in the lighter spectrum of the medium range and quite the boring and homey looking brunette. I say this so that you understand I have that good girl look to me and cannot pull off daring colors. That said, this is fabulous and --more importantly-- this looks great on me! It's a stone gray that's on the dark side, and it goes on smoothly--like most UD e/s as do most UD e/s.
