so gross. I bought this because I'm a huge fan of chapstick brand, and while I'm not one to really care about all natural products I thought I'd give it a try anyways because of all the good things I've heard about it. I'm so disapointed, the texture is lovely and buttery and the scent is almost a creamy vanilla, but my goodness the taste just ruins the whole thing for me. I cant describe it but it's beyond disgusting, I put it in my purse to only use as a spare and I have yet to touch it again. Maybe the one i had was a dud? I'm not sure, but i'll gladly go back to using my regular chapstick with the petrolatum if it means I dont have to use this natural lip butter again.

MAN, I LOVE THIS STUFF! The packaging is great looking, and it really moisturizes my lips. It feels smooth when I apply it, and I love the smell, but it really doesn't have a scent. The product is cream colored, and although it is a little pricey, it's worth it. But, I accidentally lost it 1 week after I got it. I am trying to get a new one, but local drug stores don't have it. So, I suggest you go buy it right now before it's gone!

I'm not big on chapsticks. The plain ones made my lips feel kinda dry and not very moisturized, so I only get the moisture ones (like green apple). Then when I came across this one I scooped it up and took it home :D I love that it's natural, not sticky, not waxy, not greasy, nicely packaged, and it smells/tastes a little like honey to me, which is bomb XDDD I recommend it and I would repurchase this again :)

I'd buy this again only if in a pinch and Lypsyl lip balm weren't available. It's waxiness, though not as bad as some brands (like Natural Ice), is annoying and stirs me to reapply the product frequently. This is simply not my favorite chapstick out there, though IMO it's superior to other ChapStick-brand items.

I enjoy buying/using natural products as much as possible, so when I saw this at the drugstore I decided to try it. I used this everyday at least twice a day for two weeks, and my lips actually got drier and began to peel.

In addition, within a month the product turned rancid, and smelled of spoiled fruit/food. Not pleasant. I had to toss it out.

I would not recommend this as I did not find it very moisturizing, and the product went bad very quickly.

My HG of lip balms is Lush Lite Lip Balm but the packaging is rather awkward and sometimes convenience trumps quality. I've been on the look out for something I can stick in my purse and that doesn't require me to use my finger to apply. I tried Burt Bees, Blistex and the regular Chap Stick but they were not particularly moisturizing and my lips felt smothered. When I came across the natural range I decided to give it a go. I was quit pleased with how smoothly it went on and the pleasant low key coconut scent. It also did a decent job moisturizing my lips, although it felt a little oily. While Lite Lip Balm is still my HG, as it has better texture and moisturizes better, this will certainly do in a pinch.

I bought this at a 99 cent store, surprised seeing this new type being sold for so cheap. I'm just gonna get straight to the point. I LOVE THIS.
The packaging is really smooth and sleek and pretty cute. I love the feel of it! It makes my lips really soft and supple, but I took a point away because it didn't really do much for my severe chapped lips. But this will help with any little dry patches on your lips.

This was really nicely priced and I'll buy this again if I find it!

I would give this a 5 if not for the fact that it is a little glossy when you first apply. Sometimes, I don't want glossy. Other than that I love this stuff. It smells great - not medicinal. I MAY need to reapply 2x a day...seriously, that's it!! Even in the harshest of chicago winters. It is not addictive like regular chapstick. So, even though pricier than regular chapstick, it is actually cheaper because you don't have that crack fiendish urge to use again every 30 minutes.

Oh my purple chapstick (my name for it :) lol) how much I do love thee. This is hands down the BEST chapstick I have ever used! I have used many-a-lip-balm in my time and I will give a quick run through of the past fails. Carmex- very drying to my lips and has a very distinct, strong scent. Other Chap Stick lip balms- waxy and drying when applied. Blistex- Okay, but found it kinda minty and drying. Burt's Bees- Good but the balm itself feels drying and some (like the honey) smell awful. Aquafina- wayyyy to minty for my taste and gave that filmy feel to my lips. The 100% botanicals Chap Stick- extremely drying, not a fan. THIS however is so very moisturizing and it makes my lips look and feel good. It does not have any waxy feel to it and does not leave the waxy lip balm "film" on my lips. All this lip butter leaves on my lips is a moisturizing layer that keeps my lips moisturized for hours; even after the lip balm has faded off, my lips still feel soft and smooth. There is no scent that I can detect from it which is a plus and it is made of all natural ingredients! Unlike the other lip balms from Chap Stick, this does not feel dry going on and does not have that waxy feel or consistency. I wear this balm all the time because it just makes my lips feel good. I wear it on the days when I don't want to deal with the dryness of a lipstick (no matter how moisturizing it is, it is no match for this lip balm) or the stickyness of a gloss (no matter how smooth, same thing above). For awhile I was not able to find this anywhere and I was so sad that it might have been discontinued. But then I went to Rite Aid and picked up one... and then four more :) This will always be my favorite lip balm.

Chapstick Naturals is the best natural conditioning lip balm I've used. Tried Burts Bees, Badger (tangerine dream ftw), Dr Bronners, Palmer's, L'Occitane, Shizen, Egyptian Magic, Sukin, cocoa butter etc... Carmex is the only rival, but I keep that for colds since it's drying afterwards where CN isn't. I've been using CN for a couple of years now, enough time to try other balms, but I keep coming back to it. Oh - otherwise I think years ago I had Nivea Vitamin Power which compared, but haven't ever found it again. Plus - this is natural.

My lips dry out quite easily. If they're in good condition anything above works - however when chapped and peeling, this has been the only thing to soften them up completely, and *keep* them in good condition. Afterwards, I can apply anything and it'll look great. If my lips are peeling a lot (from complete neglect), once this is absorbed I can just use a tissue to scrub them completely smooth (because the skin is softened).

The moisturiser needs a little time to work - it isn't absorbed immediately like petrolatum bases (which mess with your hormones if you absorb too much), but it's much healthier. I find it more effective than other naturals. It's slick and silky to apply, so be careful not to wind it back in each use or it'll break, like any other tube.

I'd advise against using too liberally (i.e. keeping a constant slick layer on) once your lips are in a good state, because you can over-moisturise if you've already absorbed as much as you can. Sometimes you just need a little sheen/colour instead. But this is the perfect base.

If you need a good, everyday lip conditioner, I definitely recommend. <3 ^_^

**Update #1: just found the brand 'yes to carrots' - they make beautiful natural lip butters in tubes which feel quite similar, the only other brand that's ever come close (!!!). If you've been allergic etc to something in chapstick, give yes to carrots a go :)
**Update #2: My new daily HG is Pangea's natural mandarin and rose lip balm, it's creamy and silky, and I've come to prefer how it doesn't go on as slick. I use CN when I need a deep conditioning treatment.

love this. it smells so good like cookies. its really moisturizing but doesn't feel greasy or like it leaves a coating on your lips like other chapsticks. This worked well under lip sticks and glosses. I get this at Bed & Bath on the cheap.

This is one of my favorite balms! it doesnt have any nasty smells or taste, its cheap and has nice ingredients. its not too waxy and its not too oily. i like that it doesnt have menthol or pepermint or lanolin- all horrible horrible things for my lips (im looking at you Burts Bees!)
HOWEVER, i cannot find it at all at any stores nor online! i hope it didnt get discontinued :(

Great Stuff! This balm has a nice slightly fruity scent, I guess, and It literally goes on nice and buttery smooth (cheesy yes). But, it actually does make your lips nice and soft. I've collected about 2 tubes of this stuff and carry one with me at all times. Cant wait to try out the medley one when i get back to the states.

I'm always on the hunt for a good lip balm. I liked that it was listed as 100% natural; however, my lips did not like this stuff. It burned my lips (I have sensitive skin) and made them itch. On top of that, my lips felt as dry, if not drier than before I used it - of course this could be from the allergic reaction I had from it. Oh well, the hunt continues...

This is quite moisturising, absorbs reasonably well, has no chemicals, no distracting scent or flavour and leaves a nice sheen to lips. It does leave a very slight waxiness on my lips however. I wouldn't have any problems buying this again, but I think my Dr Bronner's lip balms are better.

i love this stuff! i normally HATE chapstick,it just feels so waxy. after trying all natural lip butters i got spoiled, but this stuff is actually pretty good. for DS i usually have to grab carmex during the winter when i get wind burn/sores but this stuff works better & faster for healing my poor lips. will keep purchasing as long as they dont change the formula

Hands down, this is my favorite lip balm. I just bought a dozen online because my local stores haven't been stocking it lately. I called the company to see if this is being discontinued, but I was assured that this flavor (if you can call it that, as it has no flavor) is quite popular and is still being produced.

Unlike original Chap Stick, this isn't waxy and it doesn't feel heavy on the lips. It's moisturizing and seems to last longer on my lips than other lip balms. It has a faint nondescript scent and absolutely no flavor that I can detect. It's a great unisex lippy, perfect for guys who complain about winter chapped lips but hate girly lip balms. I've gotten at least one friend, a former Aquaphor addict, hooked on it. I like the natural butters (shea, mango, olive, avocado) and the raspberry seed oil/butter which provides a very slight natural spf. Almost all lippies containing coconut oil or olive oil give me tiny clogged pores on the lip line, though this one doesn't.

I've reordered and will do so again. I get panicked if I don't have a tube on me at all times.

Love the natural ingredients in this lip balm! It's not greasy even though it's labeled as "lip butter". Moisturize well and provides a nice shine.
