This is my first Face secrets brush, and I'm impressed. The bristles on this brush are soft yet firm, the size is just right for blending or applying a wash of color, and the construction is quite solid. Ferulle and handle are black. I paid $3.79 for this at Sally's. I will definitely try more from this brand.

This is the brush that I can't be without! I have been using this for at least 8 years, can't remember. I have a new one still in the package but haven't needed it. I use it to apply and blend shadow. Does both jobs beautifully. I have gifted many friends with it and they all seem to share the same opinion.

This brush is exactly what I was looking for. It blends beautifully! The stiff bristles give you lots of control which is essential when you're working with darker colours and trying to blend in the crease. Yet the bristles still feel soft on the delicate eye area. Other brushes I've tried tend to feel kind of poky and irritating. So far it has maintained it's shape and it hasn't shed at all. I doubt I will ever need to replace it, but I would buy it again and will definitely consider buying more Face Secrets brushes in the future.

Well, I think this has offically become one of my HG shadow brushes. I have tons of shadow brushes from various lines, and none of them can truly compare to this one. I use it everytime I wear eyeshadow, and it never fails to amaze me. It blends seamlessy, applies shadow flawlessly. It's just fantastic, and all for, what? $4.99? You can't get any better than that. I have had it for almost a year now, and like the previous reviewer stated, it lasts through repeated washings without shedding one bit.
If you are looking for a wonderful, inexpensive brush, or even if you aren't and you happen to see these at Sally's pick one up! In fact, pick two up! You can't beat it.

Another dual duty brush that rocks from Face Secrets. I could kiss the person that designed this line. Anyway! This is a great blending brush and it really excels in that...the bristles are soft but stiff enough and keep their shape enough to hold up to the blending action...the ends don't splay or scrape and you get the control you need. Bristles are short and compact to work in fine areas such as the inner V, outer V, waterline, etc. I love this brush for blending. However, you can use it for sheering shadow or foiling as well...it's really good at that because of the fact the bristles are firm and yet soft. This brush hasn't shed on me yet. Super high quality, handle is excellent, has held up to many repeated washings and uses, I can't say enough about this brush line. Love!
