Personally I didn't find this made any difference in terms of treating spots; I was fairly happy with the look and feel of it as a concealer but for the price it wasn't good enough for me to justify a repurchase.

Maybe I'm using this wrong? I use it at night as a spot treatment and it has done absolutely nothing for me at all. I've found it to be quite a waste actually. The smell isn't horrible which is about the only plus here other then that it sucks in my opinions. I don't see how anyone could use this as a concealer since its so light. I just dusted it on before I went to bed. Maybe that's why I had no luck?

Hooray for invisible spot treatment! This stuff really does work. It has pretty much replaced my need for the Proactiv mask.
Perfect for when you've got a big scary pimple and you want to keep treating it all day to speed up healing time. You can easily dab this on over makeup.
Also great for night time if you'd prefer not to model your gloppy spot treatments in front of your roommates/romantic partner :)

Conceals while it heals. Light color helps to reduce redness and it dries adult acne up very quickly. I only get one or two bumps with the "monthly breakout", but my son uses this as well and he's a teen.
A little product goes a long way and when used with a great cleanser, this is a remarkable product that truly delivers. Even great when used lightly for prevention.

I'm honestly impressed with this stuff. I've been using it since Christmas every now and then happily, but what really sold me was something that happened just recently. I got one of those pubescent mountain zits on my cheek, you know the ones. They HURT when you touch them and everyone stares? So, I just popped open this stuff, put a small amount on it, and decided to leave it be completely until it healed.
Two days later, it's as good as gone, just a bit pink and raised. I never had this kind of luck with any acne spot treatment, including that pink potion by Mario Bedescu.
I recommend! :]

This product is amazing - unfortunately it is exhorbantly over priced. You used to could purchase the larger container for around $20 - $22 - that is, until Bare Escentuals became greedy and downsized to this miniscule little container with barely enough powder in there for 3 or 4 applications - jacked that price up to to $18 - $20. But the product is great - I would have rated it a total 5 if it were not for the price and downsizing. Maybe they are not making enough of a profit in their other lines, so they are trying to offset the difference in this one product.

This stuff does not work. It does absolutely nothing to clear pimples at all and believe me I have tried this one already formed spots, spots about to break out and ones that are already clearing up. I've also tried it without and without makeup and as part of my routine at night and in the morning, none of it makes any difference. It doesn't soothe redness either.
This is far too light to work as a concealer and just leaves me looking kinda grey, I'm a fairly light as well so I think this is lighter than BMs lightest shade.
There is no lockable sifter on the pot so it goes flipping everywhere, it also goes on quite course so makes my skin look and feel very dry and powdery, even if I use the "Swirl tap buff" method to apply and it smells too, which you kind of expect from a product with sulphur in but none the less it not pleasant when you are trying to treat a spot on your nose.
The packaging is rubbish, it's expensive for the amount you get and the fact it does not work although the brush it comes with is ok and can be used for other stuff.
Total waste of money, really disappointed, definitely will not repurchase or reccomend to anyone.

If you read my review on No17 BB Cream, you will see that the skin on my decolletage was completely ruined, so much so that I couldn't even leave the house without wrapping a scarf around my neck/chest area to cover up the horrible millia and pimples, and as each clutch of spots went, it left scars - it was embarrassing, painful and just plain horrible.
I tried absolutely everything I could, a lot of things irritated the area even more (Neutrogena and Eucerin to name but a couple), and I was beginning to despair. I read somewhere a long time ago that sulfur is a homeopathic remedy for spots, and suddenly had a light bulb moment when I remembered using mineral makeup years ago and skin problems getting better, so I found Bare Minerals Blemish Remedy and bought some. It was amazing, the redness started to subside almost immediately, and as it seems to be lightly tinted, it also covered up the spots while it worked. I found that if I put a layer all over the area before I went to bed, it stopped any fresh breakouts as well, quite simply it is amazing and it has saved my skin. The only negatives are the slight sulfurous smell and the fact you only get a small tub for the money, but if you were just using it on the face instead of the whole chest area then obviously it would last a lot longer. I would recommend anyone with skin problems to give it a go.

Good product. A little too expensive. Kinda covers blemishes I guess, but it's not really a concealer. I noticed that it did a great job drying out my acne, I noticed results the next morning. I also wear it under my makeup. It doesn't smell THAT bad. There's only a faint sulfur smell. You don't need to use very much of the product either. It comes in a small package and given the amount I use, it's going to last a long time. I would probably buy again.

I really love this product, even though the sulfur makes it smell funny. I put it on underneath my makeup when I have a blemish, and at night when i have a break out. The blemishes will usually disappear in about 2 days. It also helps cover the redness a bit. Overall I think it works great at hiding and healing blemishes in a short period of time.

This is a good product. You don't have to use very much, which is a plus since you don't get a lot of product for the price.
If you want a comparison between this and Mario Badescu Special Healing Powder (which is 6 dollars cheaper than the BE where I live): I prefer to use blemish therapy when I first start to notice an actual zit and I continue to apply it through the life cycle of the pimple. It really helps to flatten it! Special Healing Powder is better to use at night as a sort of thick mask over the t-zone and chin to soak up oil overnight. You'll wake up with a fairly dry t-zone, its great!
SHP isn't as good as Blemish Therapy for actual pimples but IS good as an oil control product (it also has no smell, unlike the medicinal smell of BT).

I had high hopes for this product after hearing rave reviews. I get occasional stress related breakouts, but worst problem is the TOTM breakouts on chin. This came in a super cute chic box that contained a little brown pot and concealer brush. My first impression was how awful this smelled, must of been the sulfur content. It plain made me nauseated for the first few times, but I grew used to it. And I though if it smells bad must work great, right? Wrong. I found this did nothing for me in all aspects. I had to use a thin layer of product in the daytime just because it didn't really conceal well or go with makeup. So in the night time I would apply ample amount on acne since it did not matter what it looked like then. This did not help acne heal better or faster than any OTC treatments. This did not help to heal acne scarring. Nor did applying it to problem areas help prevent any breakouts. This was disappointing =[ only positive is I like the little concealer brush and will keep and continue to use it.

I LOVE this product! It dries up those nasty cysts fast! I only use it for bigger pimples or zits, I don't find it beneficial for blackheads as much. This is one skincare treatment I stick by, I have been for a while now. I use a large amount though, it completely covers the pimple and the pimple does get dramatically reduced.
Pros:
- works, especially with hormonal acne and cysts. Useless with helping those dark marks.
- Easy to use, I don't even bother with the brush anymore
Cons:
- expensive, considering how little quantity you get
- It's easy to spill if you're not careful
- Doesn't work with all acne, just the big pimples/cysts.
- I always feel like a freak going to bed since I have white powder spots on my face
- Can't use under makeup since it's quite visible

I didn't love this when I first tried it. As others mentioned, it has a strong medicinal smell. And you put this on your face, by your nose. For that reason, I use at night, when I will sleep and not notice.
I used this on my zits and nothing really noticeable happened. Blemishes were still there. I am a picker, yeah, I said it. And they didn't go away much faster then my normal "notice-pop-proceed" method.
HOWEVER, after a weird breakout, I was desperate and used this product again. I definitely noticed that this product totally "healed" the blemish, meaning it was not sore, not inflamed, and not red when I woke up.
Ever since then I have been using this on any blemish that seems to be sore/red/inflamed. Just pat a little on before bed and in the morning its starting to heal and/or i can get the gunk out. Gross, but this is a blemish product.
I should also mention, I wouldn't wear this over foundation, its light/translucent, but I like to pack it on for effectiveness, and in that case it's way too light to wear around.
Not cheap, but lasts forever and ever.

This did nothing for me. Salycylic acid works best for blemishes in my experience. Even as a concealer it is very strange. And the smell is off putting. If it worked I could've put up with the smell but it didn't so I will be returning this.

I'm using a GWP sample but will purchase when I run out (probably my sample will last me more than two years though).
DDF Sulfur Mask was too harsh, DHC Sulfur Acne treatment was too gentle. This Rareminerals Sulfur Powder is just right. I don't like any other BE products except this one.
Salicylic Acid doesn't do much for me, Benzoyl Peroxide turns my face red. My three HG anti-acne products are: sulfur (this), tea tree oil (Desert Essence), and glycolic acid (Peter Thomas Roth Anti-Aging Cleanser Gel).

This is my HG of blemish treatments. If you apply to a forming cystic pimple it stops it in its tracks! Inflammation decreases drastically within a day... it either makes the pimple heal and dissapear OR makes it poppable within a day so that it can get on the healing process. I use this all over my whole chin/jawline area every day and it works great for preventing pimples (can also be used over concealer as a spot treatment) - I pretty much never get a "breakout" anymore since using this product, I may get one (instead of 5) pimple during my menstral cycle but that it is. I have repurchased this 4 times and am not going to stop because it is so friggen great! I also recommended to my boss who gets bad breakouts from stress - she bought it and within a week of using her breakouts stopped and are healing. Anyone who suffers from pimples should buy, it is so gentle yet powerful and only costs $18.00
