I have four of these, and I love them!!!! The colors are subtle and nice when you don't want to be all wild and shocking. Having said that, they are shimmery and still pigmented for more mute colors. I like that it comes with a brush, even though I usually use my own. But guys, if you really want the secret to prevent spilling, KEEP THAT LITTLE STYROFOAM THING IN THERE! It comes with the package and I threw two out before realizing it keeps the product in the container. So now when I travel I put some folded tissue in the ones I don't have the foam in. And you can shake some back in. Just tilt out a little so you don't have a whole ton that you can't use. It isn't the best packaging design and there is product waste unfortunately but it works if you know the tricks, and the colors are worth it. I have to stop forgetting I have these. :)

I bought this in Shell, and I love the shadow itself - it's subtle (but sparkly!) and long-lasting, which makes it great for the day. It blends well and I don't get any fallout at all, which would make it perfect were it not for the problem everyone else has mentioned - the packaging. It's clunky and awkward, leads to a lot of mess and wasted product, and the brush is just the wrong size to be usable. I'll definitely be using the rest of the shadow, though I don't expect it to last long thanks to the shoddy packaging, but I most likely won't be repurchasing. I picked this up because it was 75% off, but unless I can find it at a similar price, I'm not going to waste my money.

i love the l'oreal bare naturale foundation, but this eyeshadow is just well' not the best. I don't like the packaging, it spills everywhere! i mean, this eyeshadow is pretty for a neutral no makeup look. but otherwise it's just a washed out barely there color, that leaves behind shimmer. and for the $9 pricetag, it's not worth it. i have two of these, bare spice & bare chestnut maroon. bare spice is a pretty purple color, it barely showed up, but i actually liked it, but it didn't last all day. bare chestnut maroon was terrible. but i think i'll give it another try sometime.

I have this product in Bare Gold #406. It stays on all day and washed off easily. Very natural looking. It is a little awkward to apply though. The brush isn’t anything special. At $9.99 it is a little pricey- but you don’t use a lot of product at once, so it will last a good while.

These eyeshadows = love! I love how they blend so easily, and enhances your eyes in this natural way. My favorite is the olive color, it really makes my eyes pop. the color selection is absolutely gorgeous! I wish it would stay on longer though :(

Maybe I am just not using the right type of brush but whenever I use these they make a huge mess thank goodness I got them on clearance!! I apply and I get colored sparkles not only on my eye but on my face as well. IMHO I won't ever buy these again.

I love these shadows. Gorgeous subtle colors with moderate sparkle, silky and easy to blend, and fairly long lasting. I turn the bottle upside down and tap, then unscrew the brush top and there is a perfect amount of shadow in the shaker cap. Not as natural as Bare Escentuals but still a good alternative to chemical-laden pressed shadows.

I Have 2 of these and got them on a bargain for about $2 AUD each. I got them on a whip at a chemist - eager to try loose shadows while back.
The packaging is kind of annoying to me. Handy for some, but just extra work IMHO.
The colours are pigmented and stay long however if i was in a rush i can never be bothered working with loose shadows unless i adore them.
So saldy, these haven't had much love from me apart form their 15 minutes of fame when i first got them and swatched them on my hand.

Apparently I'm in the minority, but I see no flaw with this eyeshadow. I have the rose, spice, nude and olive colors and I adore them all. Trying the olive yesterday for the first time, it lasted until 9pm...without primer. The gorgeous green-gold color is perfect with my red hair and blue eyes. My eyes and eyelids are very sensitive, and I was amazed to find absolutely no irritation from this product. For everyday, I like the rose (pale pink) and spice.
Why so much hate for the brush in the lid? I rather like it - it's soft, easy to hold (esp. for me with arthritis in my hands), and applies evenly. Granted, I haven't attempted to travel with these, but I can see how the packaging might allow for spills.
These appear to be discontinued, at least in a few stores, though I haven't seen them discounted at Target.

UPDATE: I bought another shadow today ~ Bare Gold. I love Bare Naturale's because they are loose powder shadows that do not contain tons of shimmer. They are the perfect look for daytime and do not settle in my wrinkles. Bare Gold is not gold, it's orange and does not work with my yellow, pale skin tone.
The eye shadows are being discontinued at Walgreen's, so I was able to pickup two shadows for $2.50 each. I bought Bare Olive and Bare Rose. Bare Olive is a greenish gold that tends to separate - Meaning, the green settles without any shimmer, and the gold shimmer tends to surround the green color. Can't explain it correctly...It's a pretty color on your eyes, once you are able to blend, which is not an easy task.
Bare Rose is a gorgeous no makeup, makeup look. It is a very subtle light pink. Perfect for allover color wash or a highlighter. It has the right amount of shimmer for me. Not too sparkly. I will purchase this shadow again...

These are last chance clearance at my Walgreens, so I snagged a Bare Nude for about $2.50ish.
I really like it. The Bare Nude color is pretty much just what it sounds like. It has a little hint of sparkle, and it gives my lids that just barely there color that I want sometimes, usually when I wear eyeliner. I'm probably the odd one out here, but I actually like the included brush. It's soft and fluffy and perfect for doing all over washes, which I think is what they intended with this product. No need to pack a brush. I tend to like everything-included products because I make myself up on the go a lot.
Anyway, just the name of the product, Bare Naturale, should suggest that if you're looking for high pigment and intense color, you shouldn't look to these products. They aren't highly pigmented, they're sheer, pretty, *natural* colors that enhance your own beauty.
I put that I'd rebuy, but honestly unless they were on sale, I probably wouldn't. Still, I very much like having this one in my collection.

Could not get any color - the light pink did not show at all. Okay for a no-makeup look, but I can get that for free with mineral makeup I use anyway. Package is ridiculous.

I bought this product in Spice and it looked like it was gonna be a pretty color but it ended up just looking uneven on me. It's also much more sparkly than I had expected but I don't mind sparkles it was just unexpected. It comes off easy so that sucks. It's hard to get out so I had to shake it and then too much came out... so the packaging is terrible. So yea I would not recomment this, its too expensive for the crappy job that it does.

I saw these for 75% off at my local CVS so I decided to pick a couple of them up to try out. I ended up with Bare Lavender and Bare Rose. They have some pigment to them, but nothing like HIP duos, MAC, etc. They are nice, soft, and subtle. They are perfect for to wear to school, or to go out and run a few afternoon errands. Nothing dramatic, just pretty. Bare Lavender is a too dark for a highlight, but Bare Rose is perfect for a highlight color. If you wear the darker colors for your lid and crease, be sure to use some eye shadow primer :).
As for the price...unless you can find them 75% off somewhere I wouldn't buy them. $9 is WAAAAY too much to pay for these. I got mine for $2.24 each. If you can find them at this price, grab a couple. Otherwise, save your money and go to the MAC counter or Sephora for the real deal :).

Great quality shadows! I wasn't expecting much but they have good color and texture and are easy to apply. I bought olive, gold and lavender. The brush is awkward though. I used my own. But they are way overpriced. You get a tiny bit for ten bucks. Good thing they were on sale or I would never have tried them. Now I want all the colors.

i only got this because it was bogo 50% off at walgreens and i must say i'm really impressed with the eyeshadow, it looks super light and natural and i put it on at 6am this morn and now it's 6:33pm and it's still there. albeit not as intense as this morn, but still there. i had to use my beloved elf $1 eyeshadow brush though b/c the brush/lid packaging that this came in is UTTER CRAP. the packaging wastes so much product, is bulky, and inefficient. i wouldn't buy it again unless it was on sale simply b/c i hate the gigantic packaging so much.

I tried this on impulse because I generally like L'Oreal products and was looking for a nude shadow. After only a few uses, I returned it. The packaging is it's biggest problem - to get any of the product out of the tub, you lose some of it. The brush-in-cap is rather awkward and all in all the process is just terribly inefficient and wasteful. The color (Nude) was very pretty in a subtle, natural way, but it didn't last more than a few hours before creasing and fading away. Definitely not worth the $9 pricetag.

I really like these eye shadows. I have 8 of the colors.
they are sheer with a slight shimmer, the container they come in is a bit tricky to handle, but as a new comer to mineral make up I haven't got much to compare it with. I like it that it is natural and mineral....I have tried a few other shadows before this and they make my sensitive skin itch and burn...so I really love these....
plus finding a great sale on them helped even more :)
