Perfume smells are SO personal. It just depends on what you like.

I LOVE this perfume. I bough it for $20 a few years ago. I couldn't find it anywhere in Canada so I've been sadly living without it for a year! Every once and a while I smell the empty bottle and fall in love all over again. I just found it online and can't wait for it to come in the mail!!

This is a good spicy rose scent that you probably won't catch the real Kate Moss wearing. It's got no spunkyness and feels much safer than the supermodel and any of the choices she's made, fashion or otherwise. Even the "spicy" part feels more "refreshing" than "spicy." But I do like this take on rose and prefer it to many of the more expensive rose-based fragrances, including Stella. And the packaging (the font!!) and advertising campaign are to-die-for. Nice for summer.

It's inoffensive, but I think you can do a lot better for a light rosy floral.

This has been my signature scent for almost two years now (in winter). A friend owned it and I fell in love with the smell. To me it seemed really unique, edgy, mysterious and distinct. Perfect for evenings, however I love wearing it during the day as well. There are 3 main aspects to this scent (in my opinion) pepper, sharp & powdery rose, and musk. The initial spray is very rigid and astringent- it definitely is a blast of spice - almost unappealing. However, after awhile it becomes this blushing sandalwood rose garden that is less 'in your face', and instead very lovely. This fragrance is also very clean smelling to me, which is always great in a perfume.

I didn't like it. I like floral scents, but this is like a simple floral perfume. I don't recommend, don't buy it. If you like floral perfumes like me, buy like Lancome or Gucci brands.I bought Davidoff Echo Woman today. It is also very nice perfume.

EDP.
All in all this is a simple but nice smelling fragrance, In the beginning I wasn't sure what to think about it. But now I really like it, so much in fact that its now my everyday perfume.
Its not to weak or strong, just...simple.
I might buy this again.

I actually really like it. I think I got this at Walgreens for about $25. I think it has a very feminine and sophisticated floral scent. I don't usually wear it everyday (I usually just wear VS body mist) but when I run out I will probably repurchase unless I find a perfume I like better.

Its a nice enough perfume but I guess its not one of my favourites. Its a nice femineme, floral smell. It has some hints of rose in it. I think its a nice perfume overall I guess.

I've been hearing/reading so many good things for KATE that I thought it was just my poor taste showing when I finally gave up on it as a bad job. The end result is so lifeless & bland...

I couldn't pick out any of the floral notes what-so-ever; just a light, powdery smell. After half an hour later there's just a faint impression of woody amber left, that just reminds me of a cheap storebrand aftershave.

Scent notes: orange blossom absolute, forget-me-not, pink pepper, lily of the valley, heliotrope, magnolia, peony, rose, patchouli, sandalwood, musk, vetiver and ambrette.

I adore this perfume. I bought the first for myself and then I received another bottle from the EDT version of it, and I just finished it.
I need to get a new bottle! This scent is really lovely, flowery, but not overpowering and for me it is a really pleasant scent.
Definetly would repurchase it!

I bought this recently from my pharmacy for such a good price I couldnt walk away from it. Its not a staple of mine though I did put yes for buy again based on the fact that 1) - I like it good enough - if I see it at that price again you can be sure I'll buy another, 2) its so far out of my normal "powdery" fragrance preference that its nice to have at least one that doesnt settle on a powdery note, and 3) its the ONLY rose fragrance I have ever worn to date that HASN'T given me a migraine (and thats a personal argument I've been having with rose based scents making this one a little more special & worth having, at least to me).

Purely on the fragrance though despite the fact that I actually like it this isnt a scent I would buy frequently unless the above occurred again - awesome price basically. Its a spicy perfume on opening, the orange notes and pink pepper are readily identifiable and in your face! I find that combination rather appealing and I like it, but I cant see that same quality appealing to the vast majority. Though I must say it settles to a clean floral (on me at least) later. The floral is unremarkable, if there is heliotrope then I dont get it! There is a sweet and rather obvious classic rose which tends to drown the other notes, though its not powdery as I prefer my scents to be, this one is cleaner. The sandalwood and musk are the most obvious base notes, the more descerning perfumer may detect the other notes, but musky is most apparent to me.

Except for the opening, the heart and base notes are safe and unoffensive. But outside that opening there isnt anything remarkable about this fragrance and its wear time is pretty awful - this is the EDT and I'd reckon about 2 hours wear on me and thats a generous estimate. It behaves far more like an EDC than EDT and if you like to be able smell the fragrance you are wearing and have others smell it too then expect to reapply this several times during the day! Its a nice everday scent that wont appeal to everyone based on that spicy opening note - but if you let it linger a little you might enjoy the heart and base notes a bit better.

IMHO its a modern edgy twist on a classic rose fragrance and I rather like it!!

So I got this perfume over Christmas as a gift (I got a few!), and I really love it. I actually got the Luxury Edition EDP, which is a parfum not an eau de toilette, and comes (annoyingly) with a dropper not a spray. The dropper is rubbish, you can't squeeze it to get a drop out for a start, and secondly it's really not so intense you would need a dropper. On to the good part, the fragrance is lovely. It starts out quite flowery, it's not too sweet actually, got a touch of a sharpness. It's really yummy. After a while it dries down to a bit of sweetness. Now, my main issue with this is the staying power, especially since I have the luxury edition. I can't even imagine what the staying power would be with an EDT. It lasts a few hours MAX, you really need to reapply. Admittedly, the dropper means you can't really get any on your clothes, where it stays, but on skin, the staying power is baaad. Overall though, the price is good and I love the scent, so I would repurchase. If you want something to last you the day though, this isn't right.

I've always had an aversion to celebrity perfumes. I'm not sure why, maybe I'm just a bit of a snob. So when I opened this on my birthday last year, from my lovely boyfriend, I wasn't exactly sure what to think. When I first smelled it, I was bit put off, I usually stick with fairly safe floral or fruity scents and I don't think I would have chosen this on my own. But over time, I've grown to like it more and more and I'll wear it over other perfumes during winter or at night. I work with a girl who can carry it off during the day too, but for some reason it just doesn't seem right on me on warm days. I'm really glad my boyfriend chose this for me, and it's taught me to be a little more open minded, both with perfume choices and also in judging products before actually giving them a go first (although it probably helps that I've always had a soft spot for Kate...despite the dodgy past).

The rose note is pretty, but this frag is too dusty/dirty from all the patch & pepper, it's more noticeable since the rosy floral is sheer & light. Doesn't work for me.

I own a lot of floral perfumes so this was a nice change for me because it's somewhat masculine but with a definite feminine twist due to it being a musk. This is a strong nighttime fragrance and the scent is easily identifiable where you would comment that it's the Kate Moss perfume if you found someone else wearing it. There's nothing uber original about the scent or the packaging, but it's a perfume I would like to keep in my collection. As with any perfume review, you have to actually go out and smell the perfume before making a decision because scent is very personal.
