VERY subpar product. Not good... Not bad... Just "Meh". Sheer Coverage and did not exacerbate anything I did not want it to (fine lines, dry skin, etc) I bought this only because I ran out of powder, ran into a drugstore and this was on sale for $1.99. Great price for what I got but I would not consider buying this for the rather expensive full price for what it is.

_______________________

I give this product 5 stars because of the overall quality. After applying, it feels silky smooth and does not cake into fine lines (not even laugh lines, which is a godsend) or make you look ghostly like other powders do. I feel this is because it is formulated for more mature skin, but I find that it works amazingly for myself, being 19.

I'll break down my opinion into categories.

TEXTURE:
Feels lighter than several other drugstore powders I've tried (almost mineral-esque). After using it, my face doesn't feel masked or constricted, which can be hard to find in a powder. But be warned, if you want coverage on the medium-heavy side from the powder alone, avoid this product, because its coverage is light and more on the natural side. Does a fantastic job setting my liquid foundation. Because the powder is so lightweight, it does not sink into fine lines under the eyes as severely as other powders tend to, and my skin feels soft after using it.

STAYING POWER:
I have only used this product to set my foundation, and find that it works extremely well for this purpose. It makes my liquid foundation last all day with a finish that is very matte (not even a hint of a sparkle), but not so much that it makes me look chalky. I can sweat a bit during my daily activities about town and this powder still has my makeup looking flawless. I find that I only need to touch up once in the mid-afternoon if I plan on keeping my makeup on for later.
I DID apply this powder once over my face with no foundation underneath, and HATED the way it looked on my fairly dry skin (it just sat on top, looking dull and barely covering anything), so I just wiped it off.
As far as wiping off on clothing, inevitably all powders will to an extent, but this is definitely not as big of an issue with this powder compared to some others.

PACKAGING:
Honestly, I feel like there should be more product inside of that huge compact. In my opinion, it's shallower than it looks. The powder is probably only 40% of the whole thing...but the product works so well for me that I just let that flaw slip by. (EDIT: Packaging seems to have improved lately. Hooray!) The powder puff that comes with it works quite lovely for under the eyes or in difficult to reach spaces near the nose, but for everywhere else, I do prefer to use my own brush. I like that the puff and mirror are located in convenient spots (which is the cause of the compact's strange shape), and that I don't have to open some awkward trap door underneath the powder to access them. Packaging is also quite sanitary, because the puff has its own compartment rather than sitting on top of the powder.

I highly recommend this product to anyone searching for a light feeling setting powder, or sheer coverage oil control. I feel that it does a fine job for the price paid, but if you use it daily you'll probably go through it quickly.

For reference, I have light/medium skin with pink/warm/tad bit olive undertones. LOVE THIS!!! Color 162 CREAMY NATURAL all but disappears into my skintone! I am wearing this with EL DWL in Intensity #2.

There is just a very standard powder. I'm not too impressed. I put it over my makeup to settle it. Sheer with minimal coverage. Good if you want a very basic powder with not a lot of coverage. I probably won't use this too much. If you don't get the right color, it probably won't matter that much since it is very sheer. I agree with the others that the packaging looks a little cheap.

I didn't know I even HAD lines for a powder to settle into before this! Horrible, suffocating stuff, deFINES wrinkles instead of minimizing. Pretty dang pricey for a drug store powder, too. Very cakey, and color does not look anything like it does in the package when you put it on. For the amount of powder, the packaging is awkwardly long, for no reason. Worst powder I've ever used. I'm sorry, but when it comes to something as IMPORTANT as a face powder, you get what you pay for- And I will certainly NOT be buying this again.

I was dying to try this product and it is absolute garbage! i don't know how they can say this is line minimizing and to make skin look younger... This product is cakey, dry, has ZERO coverage and made my skin look dull and old. I looked like a corpse. The packaging and puff are also very cheap, even for a DS product. I wouldn't be caught dead leaving the house in this product. Don't waste your time or money.

It does not give good coverage over blemishes but it wasn't made for that. It can appear cakey, as well.

I've bought this only because it was on sale at CVS just to give it a try. I was pleased with a quality. Very silky feeling. I've got it in #156 which is very light and looks almost like a translucent powder. I don't like the package - I think it looks cheap, which is pretty typical for drugstore brand though. The only good thing about the packaging is a big mirrow. I might repurchase if it is on sale.

This makeup does not offer a wide array of colors...only 3. The darkest one, which I bough, is so orange! It does not cover well at all. I wore this powder for over a year because I did not know of a better one. I was better off rubbing dirt on my face. Does not cover well, and rubs off easily.

I had Light 156, a vanilla cream colored, very sheer, and fine slightly shimmered powder. Theres no coverage at all, it is a sheer translucent powder. I found it brightened my skin and set my makeup with a soft-focus camera effect. It blurs over your imperfections, distracting your eye from them without hiding them. Its so natural Its great for "no makeup days", only you look better, fresher, younger. Doesn't go into fine lines at all! I love that the large mirror covers the whole of the compact lid so I can do my entire makeup with it when I'm on the go. The velvet sponge applicator feels silky to apply.

The only reason why I stopped using it is I'm very fair and oily, and I found silica powder does the same thing but it is even brighter and lighter and helps to keeps down the oil better. Would use if I was older.

At laaaaassst my love has come along....
I do believe I have found my HG powder.
The thing that sold me the most on this product is the color. Having the same coloring as KLS finding a good match in a powder is very hard. The shade is MED/DEEP and it's perfect, this is the closest match I have ever found being I'm not MED nor DEEP but that somewhere in between. The coverage is great I can touch up throughout the day and this does not cake or grease up or change up color at all. MWAAAH! NC42

Very sheer coverage. Very natural looking shades. Did not settle into my wrinkles. However,it has light diffusers that make the skin look shiny, shiny, shiny! Applying more product did not dull the shine. The case is nice and compact and sturdy, but visible lift powder left a lot to be desired!

The compact is somewhat annoying to open but the powder works well. I use the light shade and it blends so well that I can't even tell I am wearing it. It controls shine and doesn't dry my skin or settle into lines. I recommend this product and I will purchase again.

Tacky packaging that tries to look nice but looks cheap instead. Plusses: doesn't settle into fine lines. Adequate at setting makeup. No coverage at all, very very sheer. Silicate-type quality makes it less than perfect at absorbing oilies. Good color, though. Will not repurchase.

I've used this powder in Light for over a year. I have dry sensitive skin and it seamlessly smoothes my foundation and keeps shine at bay all day.

When used in combination with my L'Oreal Visible Lift Foundation I get tons of compliments on my, "perfect skin." The color is perhaps a tad too light, but it covers my mild redness and medium sized pores.

I apply this with a fresh cotton ball because the puff/sponge it comes with does not pick up enough product for me. During summer I switched to the Medium shade and it matched my slightly tanned skin better. This does make my face appear lighter in pictures, but I love it anyway. I will continue to purchase, especially when the drug stores have buy one get one free promotions.

I love L'Oreal Products so I thought I would buy this powder. I have the foundation and like it. I bought this and think it's horrible. It does not cover and when I opened it I was shocked to see it was pink - not like usual powder (a yellow tone). I bought the "color lifting" powder. I am returning it. What a disappointment because L'Oreal is a great line.

I have this in medium, which may be a little dark for my skin. It is an Ok powder, I also have Prescriptives powder that I like better. I don't remember why I purchased this, but I will not repurchase.

WARNING: Don't buy this if you are looking for something you can put on lines. I bought this in Medium and have been using for a few months. It doesn't have the ability to minimize lines as it claims. I like it just because it is translucent (I hate heavy and thick powders), non-drying and doing a good job in diminishing the shine of my foundation. It is non-comedogenic and fragrance-free. A nice drugstore powder. I am usually no fan of L'Oreal products but will keep purchasing this.

I have this one in golden beige, and I am very pale. The lady that applied it told me this colour matches EVERYONE. If you are pale, dark, it's a perfect colour. And she is right, it is a very nice colour! Not only on me, but also on my mother (her skin is about 2 shades darker). I am only 18 and don't have any lines, so I wouldn't know if it helps w/ reducing lines but I must say, it's a really nice color and very good compact powder.

I've bought this powder in "Light" about three times. It's a good powder, very light, though probably not the best option if you have oily skin or humid summers. (In winter I never have to reapply it, though during the summer I reapply it about twice during the day.) It also has no scent, which is nice.
